Clean room, comfortable bed, strong wifi. Good people on desk and housekeeping staff. Location is in nice area 10 minutes walk to Fuencarral (shopping & restaurants) and 15 minutes walk to Gran Via.
Problems with climate control. Usually too warm. Room needs more even lighting.
Lovely clean hotel. Very close to metro. Cafe and bakerys restaurants all close by.
Two single beds for a couple. Both beds on wheels so when you turn over bed moves. Staff were a bit grumpy.
Was within 20 mins of everything Madrid had to offer a tourist
No double BED
Staff Location Wifi option
Breakfast not good for Muslims clients since all kind of meat not beef it's z pork Also no egg no beans no verity at all
The room, the staff, location
I paid extra €40 because i didn't check out as per agreement. We're busy shopping & forgot the time. It's our fault.
In general, the claning of the room was fine but there was a mould in the bathroom area not cleaned at all!
I started my Madrid adventure on September 25th. At first I was staying in Husa Chamartin hotel (6 nights) during the oncology conference which I was attended. Husa Chamartin hotel was choice of my business partner.I have to say that the Husa Chamartin hotel was a big disappointment. The rest of time ( 3 nights) I spent in NH Alberto Aguilera hotel. It was my choice and I was very satisfied. Location, staff, rooms quality and Wi-Fi connection were very good to excellent.Breakfast was varied and good. The hotel bar restaurant is open only in the morning, but coffee, tea, sandwiches, drinks and sweets can be purchased at the reception desk. NH Alberto Aguilera is good value for many,as the other NH hotels where I stayed before.
Rooms with a view of the street are noisy and this can affect the quality of sleep.
Location and cleanliness
Small room, tiny bathroom, desk occupied by the TV
3 bottles of water and pkt of m&m and crisps nearly 20 euro!!! absolute rip off :-(
Breakfast, bed, bathroom
The wifi is not free it is a scam ONLY 100MB / DAY THE STAFF WAS NOT FRIENDLY THE RESTAURANT WAS VERY BUSY MORNING TIME I HAD TO EAT OUTSIDE AND THE SERVICE WAS VERY POOR. THE ROOM VERY SMALL THE TV IS VERY SMALL VERY OLD AND THE CHANNELS WERE ALL SPANISH.
Noise of the street in my room at night (it is in a busy Avenue)
Not much, it is near the Metro which is useful.
I wouldn't stay again here. I booked a double and when I got there I found the smallest double bed there is, which is only considered double in Spain. Tried to change it but all rooms except for 6 have this type of bed. The aircon didn't work properly despite the temperature being 30ºC outside, we had to open the window and the hotel is placed next to an avenue. The WiFi is slow and limited unless you pay 10 Euros a day for it. I just wanted simple comfort, the hotel failed to provide it.
It's all very convenient, well-kept, tasty etc. I would certain choose this hotel again. Good location.
Thin walls between the rooms: I could hear every single step of someone living next door. So I increased the volume of the TV set so that my steps would not upset the neighbour... I wonder whether she liked it (it was high-heels shoes).
Excellent location, helpful English speaking staff, clean rooms with wi-fi
tired bedding, no extra pillows, no coffee maker or clock in room,
very nice location, room very small, but very comfortable and clean, bathroom big to compare with the room, included bidet.
No sound isolation, you can hear everything from the corridor and some people were really loud when they walk and talk in the corridor. a bit more sound isolation would be nice and would improve the hotel quality a lot.
We lived very few the hotel. The staff was warm and pleasant. The room clean and really near to Plaza de Espana.
We weren't able to tune the air cooling system. It was always too hot. We kept it off.
Great, friendly staff, close to Metro station. Modern rooms.
Thin walls, you could hear whispering 3 rooms away.
Excellent staff -friendly and helpful. Hotel near to metro stations and also near to my daughter who lives in Madrid. Room was quiet with the windows closed - no traffic noise. Comfortable bed plenty of room in a twin room for 1 person. I liked the fact that the bathroom was closed off from the bedroom. Good breakfast with a good choice of food. I would certainly choose this hotel again.
I would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom. I was longing for a cup of 'English' tea! I do not like soft drinks.
