The Amaltea Hotel Spa Center has a peaceful setting just outside Lorca. There is good access to highway A7. Las Águilas Beach and the Sierra Espuña Mountains are a short drive away. It was a very welcomed stop over from Bilbao to our Property in southern Spain, the staff made us feel very welcome and the hotel was wonderful we will make a point of booking in here every time we use the ferry now but will get here earlier so that we can use the spa etc. just would like to add I had a large trailer on back of vehicle and thay made a point of finding us secure parking over night all I can say is this is a brill place to stay

The excellent free wi fi. Reasonable prices for food and drink at the Bar. A good sized room with an excellent desk to work on and excellent views over the immaculate gardens, swimming pools and the surrounding countryside. As seems to be the case in many hotels the air conditioning never seems to be working. This hotel is by no means alone in this matter. I guess it is for cost saving purposes.

This is a business hotel that has all the facilities you would need for this purpose. It completely lacks any kind of character, it is however very functional and clean. Unfortunately there were no rooms with windows and was therefore quite claustrophobic. Also the two pools were closed.

Mislead in thinking this hotel would be perfect for an anniversary - it is a hotel designed for businessmen. Spa and bar were closed. Very nice dinner with excellent service from the head waiter , but we were the only two in the restaurant. Beds very comfortable but room only had one office chair in it and ther artwork on the wall of Room 112 was horrendous. Cancelled second night.

Handy to motorway. Excellent staff The first objective of a hotel is to provide a comfortable night's sleep. Beds like rocks and all the towns dogs barking at 4 am fails to meet this fundamental objective.

The hotel was quiet, relaxing and the food superb. We turned up just before the restaurant was due to close and we were ushered in, nothing too much trouble and the food/wine was of an excellent standard. It was New Years Day and the restaurant was full of Spanish families which was a testament to its quality. The standard of the housekeeping needs to be kept in line with the high standard in other areas of the hotel. There was no tea, milk and the kettle leaked. There was shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste but no soap.

La disponibilità del personale h24! Fantastici. Nonostante ci siano gli orari di apertura del ristorante, della caffetteria e del lounge bar, fuori orario ovvero alle 4 del mattino la signorina alla reception si è offerta di farci il caffè prima di metterci in viaggio. Grazie! La Vostra cortesia è da premiare! In ogni occasione sono rimasto veramente soddisfatto! Dovreste pubblicare una bella fotografia dell'hotel - cercando l'angolazione giusta, magari grandangolo - che inquadri la stazione di servizio e l'azienda porcelanosa! Sarebbe un ottima guida per raggiungervi!

Me ha gustado el ambiente, la sencillez a la vez que la belleza de las instalaciones, el jardín y las instalaciones de las piscinas, el desayuno bueno y suficiente, la amabilidad y disposición de ayuda del servicio, la tranquilidad que se respira, el silencio de la noche. En fin, muy bien todo. Se notaron pequeños defectos producidos seguramente por el terremoto como el cierre de ventanas dificultoso por desplazamiento, pero pienso que el hotel no ha podido hacer nada por evitarlo y que serán reparados pronto. Por otro lado vi la gran estabilidad del hotel por la fortaleza de las columnas, su distribución, etc. No pude utilizarlo, desafortunadamente. Estaba sólo de paso.
