I chose the hotel primarily for its location, close to family. But I found the hotel, the staff and its facilities to be excellent. I can recommend the buffet breakfast. I will definitely be staying again.

I thought the value was great for a new, clean hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The walls are thin so you can hear people loudly walking the hallways, water running from other bathrooms.

The location of the nh Aranzazu was perfect. It was 5 minutes walk to the beach. The walk along the promenade to the old town was a very pleasant 30 minute stroll. The bus stop into town (Bus Nos.5 And 25) was just around the corner. The hotel is so convenient for all the places interest E.G. Monte Igueldo, Miramar Palace etc. The staff were very helpful. The hotel bar did not rip you off like a lot of other hotels that we stayed in previously. We loved San Sebastian and would definitely recommend the nh Aranzazu Hotel. One thing that I would suggest to the hotel management is to have tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.

Very nice hotel. We did not eat in the hotel as we only stayed 1 night which happened to be a Sunday and the restaurant was closed, therefore we cannot comment on the food. Other restaurants were nearby. We were en route to France and left early in the morning. The price for the room was very fair.

We choose this hotel as it offered a great deal on the web including a buffet breakfast. It was a good choice, location was reasonable, an easy walking distance from Playa Ondarreta and the funicular railway and also close to local buses into the old part of town. There as a large supermercado close by. Rooms were of a good size and big bathrooms Didnt like having to go to the lobby for the wifi. Hard to find cheaper local resturants nearby but only got caught out on the first night as we arrived late. Much better to walk to the main town area for food.

A nice hotel in a good location. Close to one of the beaches and in a pleasant district of San Sebastian. Car parking very expensive in the underground car park - though essential, as it would be hard to find alternative parking in the area.

Nice place, really clean with nice breakfast buffet. A bit noisy in the mornings (as all hotels) and a bit away from the center. After midnight you can go from the old town to the nh with a 7 euro taxi (price Sept. 2011).

The Employees were competent and pleasant, and the room confortable. The hotel location is a bit distant from the city center (ca. 20-25 min by foot), but this is compensated by the very nice walk along San Sebastian's bay with a beautiful view of the whole city seafront. The hotel has a rather traditional design, that stands out in sharp contrast with the modern atmosphere that I've experienced in other hotels from the same franchise.

Very clean and spacious room. Location quiet and safe but a bit far from the action / the old town and Zurriola beach - the closest beach is Ondarreta and is much bigger and has calmer water, but we preferred the smaller surfer beach with bigger waves: 45 minute walk, 10 minute bus ride (2 euro), 8 minute taxi (8 euro) or 15 minute bike ride - we used the public bike system (1 day for 8 euro) which we highly recommend. After you put the bike back they say you have to wait 30 minutes before you can take another one but not true. Only drawback is you can't take one out past 9 pm. Two twin beds instead of a double, even though we tried to change it.

Excellent, fresh beakfast with lots of healthy choices and variety. We felt our children were welcomed. Hotel was clean and well appointed. Overall, well good value. We would stay at this hotel or at another nh Aranzazu again. No complaints except we were sorry that it was not a little closer to the old part of the city.

Nice and well run hotel, with helpful staff and a comfy, clean room. It's a little way out of the action, but there are regular and low cost (£1.50) buses that will take you in. Lack of free wi-fi is annoying - it was cheaper to buy a roaming package from my mobile phone provider.

Having stayed at this Hotel last year, I knew what to expect, and wasn't dissappointed. Hotel is very clean & comfortable, is in a great area for Bars & Restaurants and has a fantastic bus service to the city centre. (7 mins) My only complaint, no really just a niggle was the overhead reading lights made it difficult to read in bed. Looked fancy but useless. That said I didn't go on Holiday to read.
