Compared to the Melia Sky in Barcelona I stayed three days earlier this is much better as services, room, breakfast, reception.
Wi-fi could improve. Loose connection many times, not too fast, need to reniew the account every 24 hours
Location. In the better part near Ondetta beach, a quieter more excusive area
Wifi cut outbiften
Smart hotel in a good area...nice room and good quality breakfast. Easy walk to the beach and into the old town. San Sebastian itself is totally amazing!!
WiFi is free for the slow version (and it is slow too) but you can upgrade to the faster version...that's a rip off, free was what I expected!! Parking at the hotel itself is ridiculously expensive, parking out on the street is so much less!!
Very comfort and nice clean and big room. Very good bearkfast
Noisy , celebrations every day till 2200 hour
Lovely Room Near the beach
Unwelcoming check in Long walk to centre of town
Hotel was very good, but the attitude to wifi was disastrous, and it is hard to believe that this is a Swiss chain. Wifi today is as necessary as electricity, yet this hotel offered "free" wifi which did not work at all and for which one was given a separate username and password FOR EACH DEVICE for a period of 24 hours (so if you were staying at the hotel for two days you had to go down to the desk and ask them to print out two, three, or four more usernames and codes on the second day!!!!) There was an option to "upgrade" to stronger wifi for the princely sum of €9/day. This is just pure greed, plain and simple.
Nice hotel, nice rooms and excellent service at the desk and breakfast room.
Miserabable lady at the bar which didnt make you feel like coming and have another drink. The room wasn't cleaned very well, our drinking glasses were still dirty till we mentioned it on our third day to a cleaner.Hairs were still found on the bathroom floor...We expected better service!
Spacious room, very clean, breakfast good. Staff advice excellent. On road parking easy and safe, advice from reception , so saved 34€ on 2 day parking. 40 mins walk to centre or 3.30€ for 2 on bus, every 8 mins
Wifi only near reception.
Excellent beds and bedroom lighting Soft close doors, no traffic noise, blackout curtains Can eat breakfast across the road Can park underneath the hotel, though costly, or park in the street outside and pay. Away from the crowds but a lovely 20 minute walk along the sea front into the town.
Nothing. Everything was great
Good size room with good facilities. Great shower. Good bar & restaurant. Good breakfast selection. Safe parking. Staff very helpful.
Not in the centre of the town but was a quick cheap bus ride away. A minor quibble.
Location close to beach and restaurants. Breakfast wide ranging and good. Bacon slightly crispy! Underground parking but pricey!
Staff attitude at reception. I asked why they were so unfriendly and excuse was because not much english spoken. I suggested that smiling would help. Porter twice failed to offer support with bags. No exercise facilities.
Nice hotel in a good location. Close to town, very convenient.
Best sleep ever, bed amazing, hotel silent, room dark. all the right ingredients.
Lots of door slamming from fellow travellers.
Location, rooms, breakfast and the whole experience here was great.
There was supposed to be wifi throughout the hotel. We were staying on the 2nd floor for 3 nights. The wifi worked badly in the room for about 5 minutes, then nothing. It worked perfectly in the lobby but I needed it in my room. They need to upgrade the system, which is a bit weird anyway, requiring a separate code for each device, each day or state that it is only available in public areas. Properties annoy me with the untruths they claim about wifi.
I liked everything - the room is gorgeous. The staff is great. The hotel location is ideal, near everything you need - cafe, supermarket. The beach is very close. Distance from the old city view as a plus, since we love to walk on foot. And on such a beautiful waterfront promenade is a pleasure to make. City is gorgeous, it would be desirable to come back and it was in this hotel.
Close to the beach, very nice restaurants nearby, walking distance to the centre, high standard living area therefore interesting people
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel is located approx 2km from the old town which suited us perfectly. The walk into the old town along the bay is beautiful. The room was modern with everything that makes a hotel room great - comfy bed, good shower pressure and enough space for suitcase.
Wifi was average, even when upgraded at cost of €10 for 24 hours.
Location is good away for really busy bits in nice chilled streets and only 5-10 mins walk to nice beach.
Staff were rude and did not really seem keen to help. When we arrived although booked a double got a twin, then they moved us to small double with a stinking bathroom
very hospital staff who was willing to take care of our bikes
Very nice Hotel, excellent staff. Walking distance to beach and easy bus service to Old town.
constant sound of water flwoing from the bathroom, due to bad plumbing
Room is very comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff curtious and helpful.
There was no parking as the parking was full. I was told to park on the street somewhere but there was no place there either. Eventually I insisted on occupying one of the places reserved in front of the entrance, and they reluctantly agreed. Otherwise I would have had to park far away and schlepp the luggage, even though the hotel promises parking on its web site. Other tourists who came with us and were less insistent had to park far.
