This elegant hotel is situated in the heart of historic Salamanca, across from the beautiful Convento de los Dominicos. It offers free Wi-Fi in public areas. The NH Palacio de Castellanos is set in a former palace. It is built around a courtyard dating from the 15th century. The summer terrace is across from the Convent and is open from 11 a.m. until midnight. It offers views of the Convent and the Plaza del Concilio de Trento. A varied buffet breakfast is served in the morning. This includes hot dishes cooked to order. The restaurant offers daily menus and tapas. NH Palacio de Castellanos is only yards from the Plaza Mayor. Salamanca Cathedral is a 2-minute walk away. Rooms are all air conditioned. They all have satellite TV, a minibar and a work desk. Great location. Some rooms must have great views (but not my single room). The lobby and facade are beatiful. Single room was small but confortable. Great bathroom. There's a Michelin starred restaurant just a few meters down the street. Although a bit expensive, breakfast is very good. Lots of fruit and bread choices, on top of the expected fresh orange juice. Free internet in the lobby is very, I mean really very very slow, bordering on unusable. On top of that if you need more than half an hour you have to ask for a new user/password. Fortunately there is a cafe just next door, with a great view, and good wifi.

Great location, beautiful building. Signposted from ring road so keep going round & wait for the signs before entering the old city. Cost of Internet access ridiculous now - all other 10 hotels in our trip had free access. Lobby access for 30 minutes only. V surprised as this chain of hotels is really good. Breakfast very pricey, some fab tapas bars around the corner have a cheaper alternative for those on a budget or if you fancy.a more authentic experience!

The location is amazing, 5 minutes walk from plaza mayor. The staff were very helpful and extremely generous, I arrived at 6 am, check in is at 3:00 I asked to leave my luggage there and they offered me the room straight away.

Wonderful hotel set in exceptioal surroundings,central location, all places of interest easily walkable. Comfortable room, could not wish for more.We were offered an upgrade to a room with a view which we declined, the room we were given overlooked the cathederal which was stunning.

The Best is the lobby, a very nice interior pateo. The location is also very good, in the historical centre, right behind the cathedral. There is no wifi in the rooms and the free wifi in the lobby area is limited 30 minutes and doesn't work well. The choice of tv channels is quite poor and there isn't even one Portuguese one, considering Portugal is only 100 km away and there are many Portuguese tourists. Finally, desire the high rate, breakfast is not included and is to be paid separately.

La ubicación del hotel, el edificio y el hall. Al tratarse de un fin de semana celebraban bodas en el hotel y no tienen entrada separada para estos actos y los huéspedes, por lo que había que atravesar por entre los invitados para llegar a la escalera de la habitación. Igualmente en el hall donde estaba la zona wifi no se puede estar si coincides con la celebración del evento. El ruido del mismo se oía perfectamente desde la habitación, lo que no se espera de un hotel de esta categoría.

Su situación. Además, fácil acceso en coche El parking. Es ridículo. Un coche mediano apenas cabe en las plazas. Escaso espacio para maniobrar. Precio del mismo muy caro para el servicio que ofrece. Una pena porque el hotel es muy bonito

Ubicación, habitaciones con vistas a la iglesia de San Esteban, zona de recepción... Habitaciones pequeñas. Se oye mucho el eco de las puertas de otras habitaciones cuando cierran. Cama excesivamente dura.

Os quartos são espaçosos e confortáveis. O lobby é mto bonito, quente e confortável. A localização é optima e sossegada mesmo em frente ao mosteiro de san esteban que é fantastico e do nosso quarto viamos a catedral (quarto tarifa normal). Tem muitos parques para o carro muito perto (o hotel tb tem parque mas é um pouco mais caro) Na Primavera a esplanada deve ser muito bonita. Até à Praça Mayor são 3 min. A entrada do hotel tem muitas escadas o que é aborrecido para quem tem carrinho de bebes.

Mis opiniones quedan resumidas en los apartados anteriores. Si acaso en el servicio de desayuno-buffet se necesitaría más personal para atender bien a todos los clientes. Una sola camarera para tantas mesas es claramente insuficiente
