The Palacio de Castellanos was beautiful and well located. It was a short walk to many historical sites and the view from our room was amazing. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful as well.

Everything (!) Very comfortable bed, shutters which were 100% effective, great breakfast till Midday on Sunday. Location particulary good, just opposite St Stephens church which is well worth a visit and round the corner from Art Nouveu Museum. Short walk to all major attractions.

Central location

The parking garage was designed by a sadist. Difficult to get into, more difficult to leave, so much so that the staff offers an employee to remove car from there.

It is very well situated, just a few meters from the most important touristic spots of the city. The building is very nice also. I would recommend the hotel if you are travelling without car.

The worst thing is the parking lot. It is impossible to park without scratching the car, full of columns and turns. And they are not telling you that, at least the hotel personnel should inform you about this issue and you could have the option of parking in an another place. The rooms are small.

The reception staff seemed to have a problem with our casual dress style. They were otherwise very professional.

It was beautifully located. It was furnished/decorated lovely. It complimented the historic area of Salamanca.

Impressive decor and quality furnishings made the room very comfortable. Authentic environment, close to historical sights, secure car park all made this a very comfortable and inviting stay.

Disappointingly we were there for 3 nights but could not use the restaurant. Saturday evening it was reserved for a wedding, Sunday & Monday it was closed. No fault of staff but disappointing for us.

The staff at nh Palacio de Castellanos was extremely helpful in all matters concerned. The lobby is beautifully inviting. Our room was very comfortable. Unfortunately, we were only able to stay for one night. The hotel is conveniently located and within easy walking distance of most places of interest in Salamanca.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly but professional. The rooms are well appointed and very pleasant. The hotel allows for easy access to the centre of Salamanca, the cathedral and the university all of which are definitely worth visiting.

I was disappointed to find that there was no free wifi in the rooms and even the free wifi in the lobby was a pain to use.

Despite being requested,we were allocated rooms which were in the Smoking section.

We thought that whole trip was the best visit to a city in Spain, the whole three day visit to Salamanca was exceptional. All four of us were of the same oppinion, the city was superb, the cleanliness, the availability of all the sites to see, the atmosphere in the city, even though it is a University City, the students, the people in general were excellent, one never felt under threat, which happens in many cities. Finally the Hotel staff and position was also excellent. One of our most memorable visits to any City in Spain, and we would all recommend to anyone

Amazingly central location. Also has its own parking (although it is unusually difficult to get out of). The lobby is impressive (the former patio) and the little terrace at the front is a pleasant place to sit. Generally very good breakfast, as usual with nh hotels.

It is an old building and there was a slight smell of damp in the ground floor rooms. The wallpaper was coming away from the wall at one point in my room. Although the breakfast was good, the coffee wasn'T. In some of the pictures of the hotel, the lobby was used as the breakfast area. That would probably be a better use of the space. Very, very difficult to get in and out of the parking.
