Nixe Palace  

Excellent hotel! I thoroughly enjoyed staying there with my 4 girlfirends and I am already thinking of returning with my partner... Room with the sea view was a very good size room for 3 ladies and had an equally spacious bathroom. The double room my other friends were staying in was also very nice and spacious. Unfotunately there was no double room available with a sea view. While the overall aspect of the rooms is rather neutral, the furnishings and beds are very good and confortable. The location of the hotel is excellent...away from the busy city, with direct access to a very charming sandy beach through a series of stairs conecting several private terraces belonging to the hotel. It takes 15 minutes to reach Palma center by bus (EUR 1,50 for single ticket) and 5 minutes to reach it by car. I would recommend renting a car for a stay of more than 4 days, for exploring the island and all the beautiful and varried landscapes it has to offer... We did not take the EUR 25 / person breakfast...though it looked good, we found it rather expensive... But no worries, there is this simple but very neat little terrace just accross the road on the corner "Don Boletus" where you can have excellent food for very reasonable money and you get served just as good as you would in the hotel restaurant! Reception staff are very helpful in helping you chose a place to eat. Just tell them what you are looking for and they guide you to a nice restaurant.

I have booked the hotel assuming that they have an indoor pool too but unfortunately no.

It was lovely! We enjoyed the inside and outside pools, beach, and location. It was a beautiful location. We highly recommend it, and hope to return.

The breakfast could be better for the 5 stars hotel and for the price of 23 euros. The only thing I really I didn't like was that, coming back home, I realised that the hotel charged me the 8% of taxes, although it was included in the booking reservation. So, be carefull!

Really nice hotel, staff were very good and friendly. Had a standard room with no sea view which was well furnished and nicely decorated however, let down by a horrible damp smell. Situated on beach which looked good and clean however it was snowing when we were there ! Breakfast selection was ok although would have expected a lot more for the price. Overall enjoyed stay and would stay there again.

Difficulty car parking. Car park was not well sign posted and was 15 euros per night. So ended up parking 10/15 minutes walk away.

We visited as a group of five ladies and we all were really impressed by the location, service and helpfulness of the staff, the food we had was excellent and the breakfasts were super. Would highly recommend it!

Brilliant terrace for breafast. Nice food we were offered room 808(?) a triple with a lousy balcony. We asked for another triple which we GOT(room 612) with a much better view and balcony. Why put us in an inferior room to begin with? Its meant to be 5 star and the hotel was only half full.

We have been to lots of hotels, but this was one of the best. It is the third time we visit Nixe, and we look forward to visit it again.

Breakfast too expensive,46+ euros a morning for two!,GPB = £44! Seven nights would cost a wolloping 322 euros,GPB = £318! just for breakfast,for nothing out of the ordinary. Parking also another rip off at 15 euros a night. Doubt that this really is a 5* hotel.May just get to 4*.On the whole a very expensive 3 night stay.The El Fuerte in Marbella is better and far cheaper,and includes a great breakfast.
