Hotel Niza  

Location was great. Loved the old glass lift, and the cafe was in a great location overlooking the water.

Location was convenient

Staff were very rude and unaccommodating. The bed was in terrible condition and could not get a good night sleep. The rooms smelt of cigarette smoke though non smoking they were all equipped with ash trays

great location on Playa La Concha and promenade

Staff doesn't speak much English, but are friendly.

Great location, friendly staff, clean room. That's what was good about the place.

Very small room, with no view. Relatively expensive. No soundproofing at all, the elevator was so noicy it was impossible to sleep before everyone had come back to their rooms. It took 10 minutes to get hot water from the shower.

The position of the hotel is excellent and the view of the beach from our room was stunning.

Very central to everything. Parking fine. Brakfast fine. Restaurant a little bit dull in basement.

No internet/ipad facility

Loved the situation, right on La Concha beach. I asked for a room overlooking the beach as had visited before. It was wonderful to have the window open and hear the sea all day and night! Very light, airy room.

I am 100% sure this hotel is the best place to stay in San Sebastian since it stands overlooking that stunning view of Concha Bay. Staffs are smiling and helpful,room is clean.I will strongly recommend to chose this hotel.

Wifi ran very slow in room 35. Lift while old and charming is not practical. Sought to charge me more than booking.com amount but this was corrected after I spotted it.

noise level of bedroom - could hear conversations in the rooms next to ours,hallway noise, opening doors, street noise - we are not light sleepers and were awaken every night.

Excellent central location overlooking the seafront and within walking distance of all main attractions. Lovely design hotel with period features and modern artwork around.

The beds were rather small and not long enough for an averagely tall person - likewise the bedroom was a bit small. There were no English channels on the tv. The restaurant would not offer the fixed price set menu (advertised in the hotel lift) at the weekend even though it was virtually empty, and it did not open at all on Sunday evening, which meant the only choice of evening meal was a restricted range of tapas in the bar.

Our room was on the street side of the hotel. Since we were there soon after New Year and things were very quiet, this was fine. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom better than many. We found the desk staff to be amazingly helpful. We ate breakfast at the hotel €11 and was convenient (see reference to time of year, above).

Our room was very warm, to the point of discomfort. We turned the heater in our room off and still found we needed to open the window for comfort.

I was in a single room. It was tiny. But well laid out, so no complaints really. Certainly value for money.

Fantastic location ,very good barman,parking,standard of bed linen.

Shame about dirty windows in the bar,with a view like that. Gave a slightly run down appearance to the hotel from the promenade,which was not justified. Stair carpet let the interior down.

The hotel was in a great location with it being a short walk into both downtown and old town. Located right on the beach our room had an ocean view as well as a city view....absolutely beautiful. The staff was cordial and the hotel was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was not great for the price.

The hotel was very cute and had a wonderful location. The lobby and rooms were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The attached restaurant, Narru was also fantastic.

It was all great.
