Met great people
Staff policy and bad manners
Owners and staff were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. Breakfast outside was nice.
Bed sheets and towels were smelly, we used our own ones.
Very cute little hostel run by a helpful family and eclectic staff. Rooms were clean and area is quiet (can't say the same about roommates though). Food was delicious!
A little far from city center however if you don't mind walking this is a great choice.
everything is ok, not very impressive, but all that traveller need to stay exist =)
I was really surprised about the hostel.. it was just great.. from the first moment.. very nice terasse..nice and clean rooms... best shower i had in a hostel.. ;) And very nice people.. thanks to Jerome the cooker.. (although he forgot to do my sandwich.. :P ) and thanks to Enrico.. the two made my stay to a really nice stay in malaga! :)
- localization, - very helpful staff, - enough space in the rooms, - terraces.
- people from 3rd floor without bathrooms are allowed to use bathrooms in other rooms. It is not comfortable for anyone.
It was a lovely and clean little hostel with great staff in a great location... The shared kitchen doesn't have many pots and pans but if you just ask they are more than happy to let you borrow from their kitchen. Really enjoyed our stay here
Great atmosphere and staff, nice terrace with good supply of food and drinks. Best place in our month-long vacation!
The staff was really friendly, and the cleanliness of all the areas of the hostel was exceptional. Also they have a bar where you can hang out and you can also have diner or lunch, which is really good, I think they make the best paella (and I've tried a lot of paellas). Besides bar there is a rooftop terrace, which is also really nice. The location of the hostel is great, just a few minutes from the city center and 20 minutes from the beach. Otherwise it's located in more quiet part of the town, which is really good, because if you're in the old center you get woken up because of the street cleaning, which is just really loud and it gos on at 5 a.m usually. I really recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to get to know other people and travellers. :)
We choose that place as we were arriving late and it was written that here they have 24 h. reception. There was a perosn who opened the door for us and placed us on the top floor (without elevator) in a room without any windows just under the ceiling ( the site says all rooms have balconies). In the room there was a bed, a folding chair and a night stand with a lamp on it. It was impossible to breath there, you can stand up only at one end of the room, in other parts you should crawl. When the young man brought on our request the fan we found out that the was only one electric jack in th whole room - either you connect the fan or your computer. Finally after a lot of going back and forth (4th floor without elevator) from 1 to 2 AM, we were transferred to a normal room, with several jacks, a window, and even a bathroom. In the morning we met the owner who was nice. fucntioningApparently, had we arrived during the day she would have placed us there from the beginning. But her son thought that at night we would be satisfied with any futon on the floor.
This place suits the travellers who don´t need a special comfort but can appreciate a very good location in the city (very close to shopping centres, bus and train station and mainly to old town). The location, value for money and nice stuff were definitely the best points of this hostel. I also liked that we had a terrace (two rooms on the upper floor share it).
The double room we stayed in had new furniture but it was very shaky and unstable - bed was shaky, night stands with lamps (without bulbs so basically useless) were extra shaky and also there was no wardrobe in the room! Just some shelves. This I minded a lot, there was no place to put your stuff in. Also I disliked that the whole room was very small, there was no space to move and except for shaky bed and shaky shelves there basically was not anything else. In the bathroom, when you took a shower, the water was everywhere on the floor (not a very good insulation) and there was not even a hook to hang a towel. But the bathroom was new, also the shower. Wi-fi that was there was not the fastest, but it was ok.
The staff were brilliant and helpful. Place was clean and food and drinks were delicious.
We were in a room in the roof. It was so hot and stuffy however when we opened the windows we were bitten to death by mosquitos.
Great location, very easy to get to, and around. Room was clean, homely and nicely decorated. Staff were very informative and kind. Felt more like staying with friends. Great value for money. I'd happily return!
Bathroom was clean but shower wall needs a bit of TLC...
Friendly staff, very charming family-run hostel. If you care more about atmosphere and than luxurious facilities, this is the place for you.
Could be cleaner, wifi would be nice. No deal breakers though.
Friendly staff, plenty of food at breakfast, good wifi connection. Nice and quiet if you are looking for a rest (which I was) but not in the old town. Easy walking distance to the old town though.
The key to my dorm had been lost (and the bolt on the door was stuck out) so there was no way to close or lock the door to the room which I felt was a bit poor. The staff helped to stop the door banging in the wind at night (which was nice), but I was more concerned about my belongings being left in the room with no lock. I was able to place my valuable in a locker though, which was also good.
Very friendly and helpful staff Good parking place nearby Clean rooms Nice garden Breakfast
Too small room, Common bathroom was in an other floor in an other roorm, so we had to go across while somebody slept there.
Staff very helpful, within walking distance to centre. Clean rooms and public areas.
Quality of the breakfast coffee was very poor.
we had no breakfast as we left very early in the morning.
The breakfast is included in the price. Easy and cheap parking nearby but inform yourself before about the actual price at the hotel because there is no written tariff there just some young boys who ask a price what they want (we payed 3 eur for a day, normally it is 1 eur...)
The room smelled cigarette smoke. The shower in the common bathroom didn't operate well, sometimes there was no warm water.
- in case of emergency the staff was eager to help and find the solution - tasty breakfast and acces to kitchen
- rain from the ceiling and wet bad
Very friendly people.
A bit expensive for the standards they offer.
Spa shower was a bit fancy for a hostel and required explanation which would be a bit difficult if you're in there on your own. Fantastic breakfast and linen on beds brand new. Definitely recommend.
Very good location, close to the rail station and the center of the city. We arrived at 10.00 AM and could enter immediately in our room. You feel from the first contact that you are very welcome, they are very supportive. Breakfast is complete, with juice, meat, cheese.... Quit location on the end of a small street with no traffic. We will for sure go back a next time
Sorr, no negative remarks.
