Great staff! Free basic breakfast included!
El desayuno es excelente.
Just about everything - location (interesting area not far from the centre); staff (especially the perky Jerome) and facilities (help yourself breakfast and provision for outside fun in the summer).
- Staff very nice - Quiet neighborhood
- The room was not clean
excellent breakfast, very friendly staff, good kitchen
Location, very helpfull staff
Number of beds attachaed to the bathroom (fortunately other rooms for the same bathromms were free. Lack of information in the desciption, that the hostel in high season is not suggested for people 40+.
Rather easy to find a parking spot in the streets nearby. Great value for money. Interesting artsy district. Friendly staff. 10-15 minutes car drive from the airport or a 10-minute ride on a train which starts operating early enough to be in time for early morning flights (the train station is about in about 15-20 minutes walking distance).
Shared bathroom is unavailable after 23:00. Hostel doesn't provide a hairdryer, but can provide a shampoo. Thin walls - we could clearly hear the bathroom of the room behind our wall.
I liked staff, they were very kind and welcoming. No extra charge for coming in night.
Toilet is in separate place from bedroom.
Convenient location, very friendly and helpful staff, rich breakfast, good Wi-Fi, good sleep, nice bar in the yard. Cheap parking nearby (take it into account in Malaga), closed for the night but providing you the key to the gate. NOTE: the parking at Carril street no more exists. Instead go to a dead-end street called Calle Mindanao - access from Avenida de Barcelona.
Good personel,helpfull recepsionist
A little far from city center
Great staff, very welcoming
Room smelled a little of mildew.
Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, excellent location, excellent value for money. Recommended.
My friend and I stayed at this hotel for one night and I must say the staff were very helpful and easily got us settled in. Its on an ideal location just about 10 minute walk from the train station and 15 minutes from the city centre. The room was customed with a fan so if your warm it is helpful. Also it was good value for money and the breakfast was basic but good. As well as that there was a beautiful roof terrance and was overall satisfied with the location and building.
Well when we did arrive the owner had no knowledge of the booking and I had to explain that we booked it yesterday. Luckily we got there in time as there were other customers who didn´t book looking as well. But as I mentioned the owner was more than helpful. With our room we were up at the very top floor and the room was an attic room it was very small with two beds pushed together and we requested a twin room!!!! The only other negative is that the bathroom they have one bathroom which is at the very bottom of the building it would benefit if they got another bathroom put in for upstairs. As it would help.
nice stuff. spacious room with clean toilet. lovely garden and terrace. personal socket and light.
SO MANY mosquitoes!!! That night there were only two of us in the room that I thought finally I could have a good sleep. It turned out to be so many mosquitoes in the room that both of us didnt sleep too much, cause we were all busying fighting with them! I killed five!! I know it is hot there and this was not nice at all.,
Good location, close old town and quite close bus- and railway station. Nice , helpful and friendly staff. Clean hostel and quite place to sleep. WiFi worked well.
Breakfast could be little better.
Met great people
Staff policy and bad manners
Owners and staff were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. Breakfast outside was nice.
Bed sheets and towels were smelly, we used our own ones.
After first being nice and asking for a room that is proportional to the paid price, nothing happened, so we changed tactics and I yelled my way through,and.... Ta-Da! We received a nice room! And from there on it was a nice stay, the breakfast was also nice, fresh crêpes from a noce french cook, and clean room by a nice spanish cleaning woman.
We arrived late at night and thus received a very cramped,slanted-roof,practically windowless room. You couldn't stand in the room due to the proximity of the ceiling, much less breathe inside that room whose window was the size of my shoe. For toilets you had to go down to the lower floor, walk through an inhabited room and so on. In other words: The worst dump possible.
Friendly atmosphere, the breakfast is really good and tasty always! Cleaning service is very good!!! I will return here, definitely!
Very cute little hostel run by a helpful family and eclectic staff. Rooms were clean and area is quiet (can't say the same about roommates though). Food was delicious!
A little far from city center however if you don't mind walking this is a great choice.
everything is ok, not very impressive, but all that traveller need to stay exist =)
I was really surprised about the hostel.. it was just great.. from the first moment.. very nice terasse..nice and clean rooms... best shower i had in a hostel.. ;) And very nice people.. thanks to Jerome the cooker.. (although he forgot to do my sandwich.. :P ) and thanks to Enrico.. the two made my stay to a really nice stay in malaga! :)
- localization, - very helpful staff, - enough space in the rooms, - terraces.
- people from 3rd floor without bathrooms are allowed to use bathrooms in other rooms. It is not comfortable for anyone.
It was a lovely and clean little hostel with great staff in a great location... The shared kitchen doesn't have many pots and pans but if you just ask they are more than happy to let you borrow from their kitchen. Really enjoyed our stay here
