In Plaza de España Square, this restored 15th-century palace offers a rooftop terrace with a small seasonal pool and city views. Bluecity Mérida Palace is 215 yards from the Roman Temple of Diana.
Score from 1356 reviews Very good
Hotel Rambla Emerita is in the heart of Mérida, 650 ft from the Roman Theater, Amphitheater and the Roman Art Museum. These comfortable and fully-equipped rooms enjoy views of the Rambla.
Score from 693 reviews Very good
These comfortable apartments are located in Mérida city centre, next to Diana’s Temple, the Roman Forum and within walking distance of both the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre.
Score from 427 reviews Very good
Staff very pleasant and helpful and most spoke good English
It may have been the time of year as we stayed between Christmas and New year but the little cafe and bar were not open
Very quiet at night Everyting within walking distance I like the old fashioned style with dark wood Friendly
Very slow Wifi Staff with limited english (as is very often the case in Spain)
The bed was really uncomfortable and the wifi signal was really weak and constantly cut out.
Exhalent location and secure parking. Will return and stay there again when we get the chance
sikker garage med direkte adgang til receptionen
restaurant was closed
Location, good clean rooms and linen. Good bathroom.
Bed mattress a little hard.
The location gives excellent access to the towns superb Roman ruins. I've been lucky to visit Naples, Rome, Florence, Sienna and several other major towns in Italy but there is little to top Merida.
The internet access did not reach our room.
Brilliant location for exploring Roman ruins etc. lots of nearby attractions, food, bars .... Garage good. Good breakfast.
Tricky to find, narrow street. Park outside hotel then reverse back down one way strew for 10m to garage.
Said on website English spoken and it wasn't.
Helpful staff, nice decoration, comfortable room
Staff really polite and helpful.
Nothing at all.
Solid three star right in the heart of Merida with English speaking reception staff. Brilliant location for Roman sites and restaurants but on a quiet street. Great parking (with charge) which was imperative for us in a big Volvo with a roof box full of stuff.
Air conditioning did not work in one of our rooms. Merida in July was 37 degrees. We were told this was quite cool for the time.
Cleanliness, friendliness, car parking
Difficult communication (Spanish speaking staff only), The service during the (otherwise complete) breakfast was always a bit behind.
On site free parking and easy to locate in the city. Working window for fresh air. Good location to see city sites. Staff helpful.
Older property and rooms are dated. Bathroom small and not best we've seen.
Central location and good on site secure parking in the street level garage. Easy walking to the historic centre.
Great location with easy parking
It was difficult to communicate with the desk clerk as he didn't speak much English. He knew the answers to typical questions, but not to anything else.
Comfortable bed Good central location
Old tv Breakfast minimalist The welcome,or lack of.
Location, location, location
Breakfast was late when they had a large party staying. not enough staff to cope with the extra numbers. We had to knock on kitchen door for more cutlery and the choice of food was not as good as the previous day.
Close to the town center for tourists
Garage parking expensive relative to the roo cost. Breakfast very poor, only packeted croissants etc, long life orange, had to warm cup of water in microwave to make tea. Overall not an acceptable breakfast.
Easy to find using the sat-nav and good location for the sights.
We stayed at the end of November and the restaurant was closed apart from breakfast time (not good value) and the café did not serve food or snacks. The staff were singularly unhelpful with no understanding of even basic English. We do live in Spain and have a reasonable command of Spanish ourselves which was fortunate for us, anyone else without this would struggle. This hotel deserves only Hostal status in Spain. We asked to speak to the manager but this was impossible and the receptionist refused to speak to him by telephone.
