Jeho poloha v centru města, tj. dostupnost všech památek, muzeí, galerií atd. (pěšky do 30 minut).

Jako vždy jsem měla drobné potíže s aklimatizací všeobecně, a tak mi malý prostor pokoje připadal brzy vydýchaný. Klimatizace jako taková mi taky nevyhovuje (dávám přednost přirozené cirkulaci vzduchu), a tak jsem si vlastně celý svůj pobyt zvykala. Dala bych přednost elektrickému ventilátoru s klasickými vrtulkami.

Staff was incredibly kind and helpful at all times. You cannot beat the location of the hostal, one minute walking from Sol and one minute walking from Plaza Mayor. 45 minutes from the airport and we lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Quality/price is great.

Room too small no elevator (3rd floor)

The location of the hostel is great, near Puerta del Sol. The staff was friendly, they also kept our luggage after check out. The room was clean and the bathroom also. It was a good place to rest after walking all day in the city. We had keys from the room and building which allowed us to go out and come back whenever we wanted.

The bathroom was rather small and for tall persons can be a little uncomfortable.

Location is great. Hostel is in heart of Madrid so all important and most popular sites are in walking distance and metro station is around the corner. Staff is really friendly and helpful, and although they don't speak English, you will easily manage to understand each other and get the info you need. Great stay!

Location is fantastic. Right at Sol. If you are looking for a good english breakfast walk up to Plaza Jacinto Benavente and there is a nice, really filling one for 4.20 at Churerria (corner with calle Atocha).

The room is ok in size and even got air conditioner, but the bathroom is like on the boat - very small. Also you have to take your bags up the stairs 3 floors, so those who are not up for it, should defenately choose something else. There is a place few meters down the road (aross from Burger King) I think it is called Hostal Madrid, there is an elevator there.

This hostal was in an excellent location for visiting Madrid and being close to the major sites in the centre. Its on the 3rd floor (with no lift) but the hostel owner was extremely friendly and accomodating (kept our luggage for us the next day after we checked out). Our room was small but perfectly formed - very clean, comfortable bed and as we were not near the front of the hostel very quiet. I would recommend this for anyone on a budget trip to Madrid.

Location Air con works well Peaceful, you are left alone to do your own thing. The staff are friendly

The stairs are horrific. I am a very fit person and they are a challenge. There is no one to assist with baggage either. They should be noted in the advertisement for other travellers.

on third floor with no elevator, or help with bags, the street noise was horrible keeping me form sleeping at all. tv barely worked at all no mini fridge

Location was very good... You can find the market place & the metro very near.

Rooms were too small for family, mainly the bathroom. I fear how a fatty person can manage in that bathroom.. You can jump from your bed to bathroom easily. The door was broken & it was really very uncomfortable to use the bathroom if another person was present at that time. There was no cupboard only one wall rack and that was also too small. You have to find place to put your luggage otherwise you can not walk in the room. The behavior of hotel staff is good but communication gap was there as they are not comfortable in English. There was no lift in the hotel we had carry our heavy luggage & the stairs are sleepy as it was made of wood.
