Central location.Voucher for street parking. The female receptionist was the most helpful. Great authentic spanish bar with good food and hospitality just along street to the right of hotel and on opposite side; a valuable find in a city centre where we found few restaurants and lots of only cafeterias. On the last night after eating we found the one street where there were several really good restaurants just off the main plaza on same side as the museum!
Some rooms at rear are like boxes with no windows at normal level, so feel claustrophobic.
Nuevo Hotel is conveniently located in relation to the city center. It's an old-fashioned Spanish style hotel with quaint features and high ceilings. The owners' apartment is just behind the front desk and there is always someone available to help you.
The hotel provided everything I needed, and the location and price can't be beat. My only objection was the window in my room #203--a louvred window whose louvres could be open and shut, but whose sill was about 7' high so it was not possible to look out the window.
A spaceous room for a single. High ceiling and big window gave plenty of light. I visited in November and thought it was good value.
I stayed over a weekend. Some street noise and also from neighbouring rooms. Probably to be expected in an old building. Not too bad.
close to main attractions good tips from staff who speak excellent English patio
very noisy when people come back from going out at 5-6-7 'o clock in the morning
This hotel was very good value. We opted for the budget room so were at the front but weren't bothered by noise though the street is reasonably busy. The bathroom was old fashioned(blue sanitary ware) but everything worked. There is a lift.
The traditional character of the old Town House,
Friendly people ,pretty town, excellent meal and ambience at Albores restaurant.Hotel Nuevo great value , clean with original character
Breakfast basic but adequate end good value for 4 euros
Nuevo Hotel is clean, even in a single room there is plenty of space- with doors to a window which must be at least 3m high and doors to a central internal balcony, all of which can be shuttered so you get a good night's sleep, but let in plenty of light and air during the day. The furniture is simple, uncluttered and the hotel is very close to the main square.
Nothing- it's great.
Good location and all amenities provided. It is a charming old building but it has a dormitory atmosphere. Rooms are a good size so is the bathroom.
Nothing special, No pizazz. It was pretty basic. and no English spoken at all
Very unusual decor in our room, Location is very central, Otilia the daytime manager is friendly, helpful and her English is excellent
Wifi not good at all but this is fairly typical in some accommodations in Spain
The location couldn't be better, right in the centre of Jerez. The Building is wonderful, full of character and the staff are charming. Excellent value for money.
Location, price, cleanliness and the maître de Otelia who was friendly and helpful
Very noisy, especially if you book a room facing the main street. We booked a twin share room which was n the corner of two streets and would not recommend this if a good night's sleep is important
Good location. Good water pressure. Like being able to store our bags for the day. Elevator was great to have.
Felt like we were an inconvenience for the reception guy. No smiles from that guy! We went for breakfast at. 10 ish and there wasn't any food left, breakfast ended at 11 so don't know what the later guests would have done. Our room felt insecure as the bottom latch had been kicked in at some point.
Nicely decorated, friendly staff, good location.
The city it's self wasn't as lively as we thought it would be. A lot of restaurants were shut down what gave the town a strange feel. Never the less, the hotel was comfortable and cheap.
The hotel is just two minutes walking of the main square in a quiet area. It is an old house and if you book the "master bedroom" you will find the original moorish ceiling and wall decorations, very well preserved
wifi only worked in the lobby, breakfast was simple but fair for the price of the room
We loved our room. We will certainly go back to Jerez, and stay at Nuevo Hotel. We enjoyed the balcony, and there were no street noises during the night. Perfect.
great location in city center but therefore also noisy good for short party stay nice staff simple but goog breakfast
parking situation is not relaxed, drove around for 30min to find open spot, very tight streets
Location, building and room
Problems with toilet not flushing !
Easy to get to everywhere, Day reception friendly.
Tired room, with bed that was uncomfortable. Very noisy location with bars nearby and noisy cars and people going past late into the night. It was a Friday so it may not be like that every night. I would ask for a room at the back of hotel.
-Very nice lady at the reception She gave us a lot of information and tips. -In the middle of everything. -10 min walk from the bus/train station. -Some bars around. -Spacious room.
-As expected in Spain, lots of people outside all night (wear earplugs). -Breakfast can be better.
Just 2 blocks to the main square. The staff is very nice.
Once I was moved to a back room it was quiet very clean and the staff helpful.
I was originally put in one of the front street-facing rooms which was quite noisy. The breakfast was poor value for 5 euros. I was only given 2 slices of toast, I could have possibly had more on request but the kitchen seemed to be unstaffed and I take the view that more should have been given in the first place. This meanness could explain why the breakfast room always seemed to be empty!
Really nice hotel. We had a room in the last floor, so we had a pefect view and room was light. Nice bathroom and small balcony. Comfortable beds. One of the best hotels in Spain in this value category. Location was just perfect, walking distance from everywhere. Easy to find. Interior was traditional and clean. Was not hot inside. Staff spoke English. Quite place.
all the staff can speak very good english, very nice hotel with good value, simple but very nice breakfast with good price
as its star, no any problem, wifi is good in public area
