The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was quite good, a 5min walk from Las Ramblas. It was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast price didn't make much sense. It was a small variety (I didn't take it but I saw it) and there was literally two tables for the breakfast. We had two rooms, since we had ordered a couple but got a twin. In the twin one, the fridge wasn't working. Then we got the couple and it was fine, but no minibar whatsoever. The walls are very thin, as we could hear everything (especially the morning cleaning lady).
Small, cute hotel about 5 minutes from Rambla and metro. With friendly peronal. The rooms are cleen but not quiet. Though we arrived late at night, we got our room quickly and there was no any problems with it
Location, it's near the metro and city centre.
The walls are too thin, so you can hear all the noise made by the other guests
The metro station is just at the corner. Shuttle bus to cable car is within walking distant. Staff are fluent in English, polite and helpful.
tiny room, thin walls (noise from next door or corridor)
Great location - 5 minute walk do Para- lel Metro station if you generally need a transport being in this hotel. 10 minute walk to Rambla and port, 5 minute to Montjuic. The staff really pleasant and helpful, new towels every day. A lot of caffes and shops surrounding. I really recommend this hotel!
WI FI sometimes very slowly, if you need spend few time working. The lift didn't work just in time. But it wasn't matter.
The Staff were helpful and useful above any expectations and their duties. Recommended good tours, restaurants, etc. The location was really good. Great value for the money payed. Loved it and recommend to anyone coming to Barcelona. Don't worry too much about the hotel rooms being small, you wont spend much time in them anyway.
Location good, clean room and helpful staff.
Room small but was very cheap and adequate for my short stay.
Housekeeper started to clean rooms at 8 a.m. and the walls were too fhin so it woke me up few times in the morning. Room was quite small.
No ventilation in the slow elevator
-Location -WIFI -Cleanliness -Gym
-At the back of the hotel was at night much noise of machines, other people and traffic -Less space single room Elevator very slow -Beds had no comfort
All staff, multilingual, helpful and approacable. Excellant room cleaning staff. Varied and ample breakfast. Able to request room Number. Gym and Spa nearby. Felt safe in this area.
Lift very slow and hot - treat it as free sauna!
Location was great only a few block away from la rambas and meto around the corner to get to other places. Staff were extremely helpful and took time to explain to us very careful how and where to get to locations and even provided us with compliment tickets to opium bar on barconoleta beach!
Room was ok but lighting was dim and the bat room smelt strange. Expect a very plain looking room.
noisy bar next door at weekends
Hotel was nice, clean & in a good location. Staff were friendly.
Hotel was prepaid, we were asked to show the credit card we paid with upon arrival however at no point through the booking or on confirmation were we told this, so this caused a bit of annoyance to the start of our holiday as we didn't have the credit card with us. Problem was solved in the end, however it was unnecessary. Walls in the hotel are paper thin, you can hear everything & some nights we were disturbed by others making noise arriving back to their rooms late at night.
The only one plus which was in this hotel is how the stuff work. They always were ready to help and knew english well. But as i said it was the only plus, all other experience is just horrible!
Would NOT recommend this hotel: - Cleanliness of the room was poor (several times i found someones hair in the bathtub after the room was cleaned. The floor in the room was dirty and filthy). - the smell of the room is very unpleasant -poor illumination - i stayed in the hotel for 9 days from which 5 days the elevator didn't work, but even when it started working, it was pretty scary to use it (slow, produce some strange noises) - the drainpipe in the sink was half blocked, so u really can not even use sink to brush your teeth -the towels had unpleasant smell of vinegar, and once i even had been given a ripped towel - the mattrass on the bed was ok, but paint on the bed in some places was missing - curtains had holes from a cigarettes - at night it was not possible to sleep with open windows (too loud outside, because in the corner of the street was a bar) - no english channels on TV overall impression from the hotel is awful, it totally doesn't worth the money they asked for the room Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
The elevator was not working and we were on 7th floor.. They kept promising us everyday that its gonna work but we left and it was still not working.. Plus the pictures they have for the breakfast area looks huge but in real it barely fits 6 people
location and wifi
my room was at the 6th floor without elevator (it was broken) very bad small coming out the shower breakfast room is smaller than 10 squared meters with poor breakfast
Location,I was doing research nearby, and used the funicular to get up the archive on the hill above, and there was a good cafe across the street.
My room was quite cramped, the window being blocked by a wardrobe ,and the bath only having a shower,in very confined circumstances. The majority of the staff were charming, but there were one or two at the desk, who definitely did not appear to relish visitors.
The staff was very kind and helpful... The breakfast very good and we has everything what we needed.
The wifi signal was bad. The room and bathroom were very small. For the price we payed, we expected more.
The hotel was spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Internet connection was perfect. There's a lovely little restaurant across the road that serves great mohitos for a fiver! nice food too.
I was so disappointed when I learned that there was no public terrace. The blurb said that there was a terrace - this in fact related to only one room. So this information was very misleading. One of the main deciding factors in choosing this hotel was that I believed there was a terrace.
Very helpful, chatty and personal staff communication, good central location, near metro, cosy and clean room - the best value for money.
Slow lift )))
Perfect location, clean rooms, 24/7 reception was very comfortable and useful. No noisy bars around. Air conditioned rooms.
Very bad sound isolation. Sewerage and water systems very noisy. Do not order the breakfast because you can get much better in the near by coffeterries by the less price.
Location Stuff Cost effective.
Very helpful, chatty and personal staff communication. Close to the best end of the Barcelona waterfront and Le Para-llel Metro, but still with a sense of local living. Breakfast extra but worth the small cost
