It did everything it said and everything we wanted it to do. It's a bit of a design-lead hotel with plenty of statements in graphics and some fittings throughout - in fact so design-lead was the attached "provisions" (their title) food store/cafeteria that I couldn't understand what it was all about and had a breakfast in the next door bar! It's rather like a Travel Lodge hotel in the UK with minimum up-front staff....but it all works well. The walk, slightly uphill, into the city centre is a 20 minute hike along the Via Augusta but the 10 minute stroll to the stunning curving, spotlessly clean beach (with chiringuito beach-bar) is delightful 10 minutesl Buses will do the run into the city if you don't want the walk, but there is a wonderful sea-edge walk all the way if you're feeling fit and adventurous. You basically have a choice of rooms facing the road, or rooms facing the sea - but with the main Barcelona?Tarragona railway in between. Neither is a real problem because after (say) midnight, traffic on both is low or non-existent. Beware mosquitos if you sleep with the windows open.

We enjoyed the modern feel of the hotel and the size and general comfort of our room. We had a a very pleasant room facing the sea. It would be great if we could return for a longer stay as we enjoyed everything very much

Breakfast not bad. Staff, particularly female receptionist, were rude and not helpful. Car parking is dreadful and very small spaces to park in. Many people clearly did not make it without crashing! Directly on a busy and noisy road. We asked for quiet rooms particularly and were given rooms near street level. I will be complaining directly to hotel

The 3-5 minute walk to the quiet beach is wonderful. The long walk into town isn't ideal but there are city buses and a tourist shuttle. Wifi is free and available throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly enough but not exactly warm. Personally, if I wanted to stay outside of town again I'd book another hotel in the area to experience it.

After staying in an aprtment in Girona which looked great in pictures but had all kinds of irksome qualities such sharp edged glas table, oversized bed and tight space in shower, Nuria's design had special appeal for us - soft corners, ample space to walk between bed and furniture without risk of scratch, and good showers. Nice view of treetops from window, and a small pleasant terrace. Easy to find on main road, yet close to nice clean beach - a pleasant 300m walk. A mosquito/fly mesh on the terrace door would have made it perfect, though during our stay this was not a big problem.

The hotel was really good for the price payed. The beach is quite near, only 300m walking distance. The room was nice and clean. If you travel by car, don't use the parking of the hotel: it's ridiculously small, also with a normal station wagon. But in front of the hotel is enough parking space for free. One thing, I didn't like to much was the fact, that there's no restaurant or bar near the hotel (the bar of the hostel next door closes at 11pm). All in all, one of the best price-quality-ratios I found in Spain!

We stayed at the hotel for our honeymoon forty years ago and liked the hotel and location we returned almost every year until 1988-with our children.Went back as it was our Ruby Wedding-and found a complimentary bottle of cava in our room with congrats from the management. The hotel was recently renovated five years ago which meant it had moved with the times and their extra demands. It is still in the hands of the same family and this gives it the personal touch.Nothing is too much trouble. We will be returning again next year! Ecellent buffet breakfast and lovely waitress service lunches. However dinner in the evening is on display-various choices-but this does not take the fact away that it is a microwaved meal-whether you have it in the dining room or in your room. There are however plenty of restaurants nearby for an evening meal.

Clean, comfortable and reasonable price,as well as walking distance to beach of Arrabassada. For the sights of the old town of T. this place really requires you to have a car,as bus system seems pretty poor and its a 30 min walk from train station

It's proximity to the beach (5mins) The onsite cafe The receptionist on our arrival was extremely unwelcoming to the point of surly and unhelpful (the later one was lovely) It was too far from the centre of town and cost £10 to get there in a taxi.

The hotel was very clean, a very modern design, staff was very friendly. The room was spacious. Breakfast was good in a nice atmosphere. We booked a family-room and got 2 standard rooms combined with a switchdoor ans small hall which was perfect. Would definitely book this hotel again next time if we would go to Tarragona or surroundings. We do recommend this hotel. Walther Huyzen There wasn't anything that we did not like.

Nice, new clean hotel, close to the beach (5 minute walk). Very nice buffet/restaurant inside the hotel, with lot of fresh products, where you are able also to but things to go, if you wish to eat on the beach or in your room. Wifi connection was working fine, all rooms are also equiped with LCD TV with a selection of spanish and few international channels. From the top floor, there was a view at the sea, although there is a railorad track between the hotel and beach. There was no fridge in the room (in the hot summer months it would be nice to have cold drinks in the room). Slide-door to the bathroom were a little noisy and cannot be locked.

Have two connecting rooms was very useful for a family. Good beach near by. We arrived at night, quite tired with 3 young children. We found the receptionist very unfriendly and un helpful. I had booked the family suite but only 3 breakfasts as my 3 year old twins dont really eat much in the morning. She made a huge fuss about this issue whist the children were running around and my husband and i just wanted to get them to bed. It wasnt a very good first impression.
