Everybody was happy, friendly and ready to party. Location was perfect. Helpful, friendly reception. They also offered free sight seeing tours. Free welcome drinks. Party at the rooftop. Fun fun fun
On the website it wasn't mentioned that the hostel I booked is closed now because of maintenance and therefore my booking has been redirected to the other hostel building of Oasis in Seville. I learned about this only when I arrived at the given location and found a note on the entrance door. This caused some inconvenience, but otherwise I've been completely satisfied with the service.
The place is okay in terms of facilities
clean sheets, large bathroom.
bathroom had a weird probably mold smell. shower curtain does not cover bottom of shower glass so the water flooded the bathroom. the lights did not work in our room. lockers were very small.
We were received by a rude Portuguese guy, without t shirt, which put us in a room for 8 (we paid for a room for 4). He argued saying that them system does not work, that our reservation was not there.
Location was great, easy to walk to any main site. Staff were friendly however were just learning. Great hostel for The price you pay.
The pool was nice however it was broken the first couple of days (we were able to swim at the palace pool). We had booked this place based on staying in the oasis in Lisbon which we really enjoyed however the atmosphere, bar ect was not as good here.
The rooftop was nice.
The bathroom was not cleaned everyday! It wasn't cleaned for the whole of my stay (3 nights)!
Staff were sohelpful! The building was beautiful, breakfast was good. Finally, muesli and yogurt and fruit! Showers were good.
I liked the location, lounge area.
I didn't like, that they had to move me from Backpacker's Hostel to the Palace. I don't mind the moving - the location was very good, but the price stayed the same, although the room in the Palace was suppose to be actually cheaper. So I payed extra for no reason. Also the rooms were too dark: only one switch for all the lights, no additional lights. Also the breakfast looks a lot better from the photos than it actually is, turned out there were no fruits in the healthy breakfast. Why can't you put WiFi in the rooms without any extra fee? I was just a little pit disappointed because few days earlier I stayed in a similar hostel and everything was much better organized.
That my friends who werent staying in the hostel could come inside and make dinner with me and get drinks on the patio.
Shared kitchen and bathroom for two double rooms.
Very, very noisy street.
