The Occidental Miguel Angel Hotel and Urban Spa is set in Madrid’s commercial district, within walking distance of the city’s famous museums. This classic hotel offers comfortable rooms with 24-hour room service. The hotel also has 2 restaurants, and in summer guests can enjoy candlelit meals in the pretty garden courtyard. The Miguel Angel has an indoor swimming pool and fitness center. The spa facilities include whirlpool and Turkish bath, as well as treatments including massage and facials. The hotel has easy access to public transportation to the IFEMA convention center. The Natural History Museum and the famous Bernabeu soccer stadium are a short walk away. My personal oppinion - everything very good (icluding location / club service / spa ) - exept few things : - room have old TV with 21' only - very unusual door to the toilet (door construction) - all smell, if any, you can feel in the room and no ventilation in the toilet

The staff was great, the hotel was very nice and comfortable. The rooms could use a little updating but all in all, it was enjoyable. I would recommend and would stay again. The staff needed to be a bit clearer on what was included on the Club level. There was some confusion on the open bar.

Early check in was very helpful. No one helped me for baggages for my 2 stays (2 arrivals and 2 departures). The receptionists made me feel that I was totally not important for them. The staff education is missing unfortunately. The room service food quality was the worst I have ever had. The pizza was ineatable. The wall is so thin that we can hear everything from corridor and neighbors. This hotel values only 2 to 3 stars for all points of view. If there was not any obligation, I had never chosen this hotel.

Good location near metrostation It's not a 5 star Hotel, staff not qualified, rooms small and outdated.Spa closed some days!!!!! Did not get Deluxe Room as booked and payed for.

Location, I went for business and it was very convenient. need renovations, they have old TV, carpets even they are clean they need to be change , in couple of words the hotel need a renovation is not a 4 star in becoming a 3 star,I saty before 4 years ago but sitll not changes ,

Arrival at the excutive lounge, i had to wait for a few moments before they could check me in. Immediatly a glass of champagne was offered.A hotel which has lot to offer.

The staff were friendly and efficient. There was a good selection of food for breakfast, and the quality was very good. There were no bathrobes provided. It cost 40€ per person per day to use the pool which is too much.

Lots of businesses around this location. Not so well for sight seeing. It was a 5 star, but 30 years ago. Old, but also not renovated. Needs some paint and refurbishment.

Good location for my purposes. Very helpful staff. Decor slightly tired. Chair in the room needed to be reupholstered (some time ago!). Bed was a bit too hard and uncomfortable.

Good Location. Great lobby, spa and indoor pool, very nice gym, great garden area. The room could use some renovating and modernizing, though the bathroom was very nice, complete and modern.They offer free wi-fi in all areas of the hotel, and the staff is very helpful. Prices for breakfast and coffee bar too expensive.

Spa - Upon arrival the staff neglected to advise us the pool was closed the last day of our stay. When I rang to ask why I was told I should have used it earlier. No bathrobes where supplied either in the room or at the spa. We were charged €5 each for a cap to wear in the spa. Room - night was distrubed by moths flying around and the walls were so thin you could hear the person next door using the toilet. It certainly isnt a 5* hotel and expensive for what it is.
