Located in the core of Madrid financial district, Paseo de la Castellana, and close to the Barrio de Salamanca’s exclusive shops, the hotel has excellent transport connections to the airport, the IFEMA International Fair Park and the major city sights.

Blending a contemporary exterior with an interior featuring art works, the hotel also features the 2 Michelin stars restaurant La Broche and a fully equipped urban spa with an indoor heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and fitness centre.

There is a Metro station right outside the hotel, offering convenient access to all the places of interest in this wonderful city.

In August 2008 the Lab Room SPA is closed on Sundays.

La Broche leads the trends of creative cuisine in Madrid. 2 rightly earned Michelin Guide stars are proof of its gastronomic excellence.
Open Monday to Friday 14:00 - 15:30 and 21:00 - 23:30.
Closed in August and Easter.

In the summer months the courtyard-garden restaurant El Jardín del Miguel Angel welcomes guests to enjoy alfresco candlelit dinners.
Open every day 20:30 - 23:30 in June, July, August and September (weather permitting)

To buy for 5.00 euros a swimming cap to be allowed to use the pool.

The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. We went for a delux room on a special offer they had that included breakfast. The breakfast was available till 11.00am and had pleanty to offer every taste and requirement. The hotel Spa was really good although you do have to wear a swimming hat in the pool. You can purchase these from the Spa reception.

The only down side was the fact that the hotel was a few miles outside of the city centre. Although we did not use the hotel for evening meals there are a few good places around the hotel area. The VIPS down the road from the hotel had a good range to offer and at reasonable prices.

Immaculately clean room, comfortable bed, excellent service. The masseuse at the spa is fabulous!

The steam room at the spa needed a good dose of bleach.

Down town Madrid, ideally placed for visit of the city.

I am personnaly not fan of this kind of old style spanish hotel, if found it not very convenient for business travellers.

Esta es la 5a ocasion que he llegadoa este hotel. Sin embargo -ahora- me dieron una habitación muy lugubre y excesivamente pequeña. el personal de recepción fue despótico cuanto intenté cambiarme y con la respuesta de "es lo que usted ha pagado" no dieron solución solo me quede 2 noche cambiandome al Hesperia que por unos cuanto euros mas me dieron una habitación excelente por las otras 6 noches.
