Ohla Hotel    

The attention given on arrival was second to none. Especially after a long day travelling. The rooms were superb, and our two sons certainly appreciated their upgrade. The location could not have been better. The food in both restaurants and the drinks in the bar were excellent. The roof top was a delight.

-The overall layout of the entrance; reception on second floor; not user friendly. - Poor concierge service; unable to secure tour tickets etc. -Taxi service not readily available. - Breakfast room below standard for quality hotels. -Uncomfortable furniture both in room and bar area. -Definitely not 5 star service or quality.

Thanks for the hospitality, everything was wonderful, cozy place, the location of the hotel, near everything, balcony did not open in the room, it's a minus, as would breathe fresh air directly from the Spanish numbers.

Staff was very friendly and helpfull, especially concierge guys were very knowledgable and attentive

Once room cleaning was done at 5 pm when we were back from the city tour and wanted to relax. Instead we were waiting chambermaid to finish her work.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Anything I wanted/needed they helped me with it. Outstanding location in an outstanding city.

The rooms are very beautifull and the pool on the roof is for sure a highlight. Location of the hotel is also good for shopping and dining.

For me it is not a 5 star hotel but a good 4 star. The reasons for that are: - on the 3rd day we didn't receive fresh towels and we called the reception desk. After a second call and 40 minutes later we received them - the concierge didn't say 'hello' when we crossed the lobby during the day - you can only choose between 4 hot dishes in the morning - the quality of the breakfast buffert was very good but the choice was not big - we waited for more than 10 minutes to get scrambled eggs There were too many small things which were not OK to give this hotel 5 stars.

Staff very poorly trained not to the standards of a 5 star hotel, rooms are very basic for a 5 star hotel, my bathroom had not hook to hold shower but after complaining I didn't get anything but a very short sorry, they were busy making sure they charge me 2e for a bottle of water. will never go there again

Great Staff, room interior, location.

Shower cabine, which was of excellent Design, was smelly due to the Water stagnation on the Floor.

Its nice and comfortable hotel, the staff were very friendly and they are always welcoming the Guests . Their service was professional and quick. The best thing in this hotel is the location, which is in the Center of the city, the metro is very near to the hotel, so you can reach every where easily.

Things that I did not like about this hotel is the size of the room, it's very tight and the shower is located in the middle of the room and its transparent which was uncomfortable for us. The quality of the tioletories were very bad. Most of tv channels were Spanish, English channels were the news only. There was no tea/coffee bar, ironing facilities. The room interior is not up to the five star hotel standards!

Checking out and going to Hotel Arts for the next 3 days of our stay when we were booked to stay the whole 4 nights at Ohla

Probably the worst Hotel experience ever. How this can be called a 5 star is a joke, more like 3 star in reality. Room claustrophobic with a ridiculous glass cubicle for shower which didn´t work properly, windows didnt open, and air conditioning didn´t work, so room was like a sauna. Lavatory en passant with room next door so we could hear them in/on loo, and flushing. Breakfast inadequate in cafeteria style dining room - so poor, we checked out after one night and spent the next 3 nights of our stay in a diferent hotel. Were promised a phone call from the manager when she came on duty at 9 am, instead received a text message from her at 5pm. Would definitely not recommend.

Outstanding location and wonderful food.

The best hotel experience in my 20 years of globe trotting. The staff were exceptional and we genuinely felt they wanted our stay not only in Ohla, but Barcelona itself, to be the best experience possible. From the concierge to the wait staff at the restaurant, not to forget the two artists behind the bar creating meticulous works of alcoholic art, everyone was great. The room was quite modern and luxurious.

Everything, it was just perfect. And Saüc restaurant is a real value for money experience!

Fantastic location. Just 5 min walking to Catalunya plaza. Only across the road in front of the hotel and enjoy a music concert at the thoroughly beautiful Palau de la musica! For the room, the bed was comfortable enough. Breakfas was OK but not so variety of choices.

In the room, it would be good to have one big mirror for checking whole body. And the floor wasn't perfectly clean especially at each corner side. Not a big problem but the faucet at the bathroom was very tight and wasn't easy to handle.
