Olivia Plaza Hotel  

Location & stuff.

I didnt like the bathroom because its very small, poor and not dirctly come with shower room.

the olivia hotel is a wonderful hotel , and we had an amazing experience staying there. the staff is welcoming, the rooms are beautiful and the location is amazing. i would recommend everyone i know to stay there!!! there are not enough good words to say about this place!! thank you for a great vacation. ido and danielle.

The warm welcome we received from staff on arrival was wonderful. I found all staff very helpful and Sandra in particular was very informative, she arranged our Flamenco evening with the minimum of fuss. We were presented with red roses on St. Georges Day which was a lovely surprise. When we forgot our safe code the key holder promptly arrived to sort it out. The hotel is ideally situated on Catalunya Plaza and turning left out of the hotel takes you to the start of the Ramblas and across the Plaza are the airport Aerobus stops. The hotel decor is modern, the space is well utilised and the outside breakfast courtyard encaptures the traditional Gothic atmosphere of the area. I will return to the Olivia Plaza Hotel it is ideal for my needs.

The situation of the hotel was so central for all sightseeing,shopping and dining. It was contemporary with very friendly and efficient staff and lovely rooms.

The breakfast was very pricey.

3rd time in Barcelona and 3rd time staying at this hotel. I don't get tired of it!! Although a bit high on the price, the location, rooms and services make totally worthwhile. Fernando and the team at the Front Desk could not be more helpful and attentive. I don't know why I would go look for another hotel in Barcelona!!

We were so well taken care of at this hotel. The staff was helpful. There was a safe place to park the car. Then we realized that the hotel was in a perfect location to see all the fantastic sights of the city. I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends

A very expensive breakfast. Unless it is included in the price, it is better to walk three blocks down La Rambla to the market and eat there.

breakfast very very poor no coffee tea maker in the rooms arrived late , room services nothing to eat, only got the smallest yogart for my child, charged 8euros no iron or board

It has exellent location. The room has fantastic view on the roof and bell-tower of St. Anna Chapel. Perfect buffet service. Interesting room design. Reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

I like the rooms looking to the Plaza

Perfect location. Friendly and helpful staff. I wish they had a gym. Otherwise my experience has been great and I would be happy to stay there again.

breakfast--- poor and to expensive

The best location in Barcelona, right in the heart of the city. Room was modern and clean, good view of the square.

The only thing wrong with this hotel was the air con did not work. The room was too hot and this was in feb, would hate to see what it would be like in July!

The staff of the hotel were very friendly and spoke English well. I stayed in a suite and was very pleased with size, the design, the view and all the extras. There was no thought left out in the hotels toiletry package and mini bar. I would book this hotel again for a longer stay in the spring/summer, so that I could enjoy its lovely outdoor seating and garden.

My only recommendation would be to spruce up the reception desk, its a bit plain and poorly kept for a four star resort, not the best for first impressions.
