The location of the hotel is excellent: 150m away from Placa Espana and subway station. 800m away from Montjuic attractions. Good restaurants and dining facilities nearby. Reasonable breakfast (for the price we paid). Room with old furniture but comfortable and tidy. OVERALL: Good Choice for a Value for Money hotel in Barcelona. But be ready to get over the bad things as well.

Reception staff without customer service attitude; Breakfast closes at 10AM. Noisy construction site nearby (dont plan on sleeping late). Personal bad Experience: When we left and asked for the reception to arrange a taxi, they called one that was bigger and more expensive than what we needed. Clearly we were overcharged and the Reception had an arrangement with this particular taxi driver. We paid 35 Euros for the fare to the airport instead of max 25 Euros, the normal price.

Hotel is in a good location, very clean with an excellent shower and well stocked mini-bar. The Hotel roof terrace is a lovely secluded and peaceful spot. There is a lovely restaurant across the road, Dim Sum Wok where there's a set price all you can eat menu. We didn't bother with the Hotel breakfast but went around the corner to a bar/restaurant opposite the park which sold bacon rolls for 2 euros! The park is well worth a walk around as is the old Bullring, now a shopping centre with a magnificent roof top view, try the glass lift on the outside. The underground station is only a five minute walk away and all transports links are excellent. It takes 20 minutes to walk to La Ramblas.

The Hotel could be a bit noisy as all the floors are marble, if you want an afternoon nap have a couple of beers first! Ask for a room on the fifth floor if possible, this is close to the roof top terrace as well.

Location is excellent. Center of the city. Easy to access metro.

very suitable location, 20 min from airport by taxi (25 eur), 5 min walk to Metro Espanya station. Rooms are ok but looks like there is no sound isolation at all - you hear all teh noises from neighboring rooms not talking about personal doing there cleaning job from 7 am. breakfast - standard, several dishes to choose - everyday all the same.

I did not like color of the bed itis not imagine itis Black I am stay 2 night I am not slipping well that is why I am change my hotel and also not clean and safty boxes not working I am ask for change or fixed they do not do it. it is a bad hotel I have seen in my life.

Was close to central Barcelona & also near the start of the Barcelona marathon

I have stayed there before and as usual everyone particularly front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Location next to Plaza Espana fantastic.

Good central location close to playa espanya and metro system. Good value for money.

Big nice room for two, great value for money.

Big rooms, good tv, good wiifi, silence, near a supermarket and a mall, near to metro and bus to airport. Very good price for this hotel. Confortable and clean.

We could be able to get the room at noon and leave at 2pm. At least, they keep your bagage.
