Hotel iself lacks personality, wifi doesn't work anywhere but hallway

This is our 3rd visit to Onix Rambla. We were surprised & upset that out credit cart was charged for the 1st day before we entered the hotel. Then we were instructed to pay the rest 3 nights in advance !! Never happened to us with Booking reservations!

Clean,modern,functional. Adequate breakfast . Reception staff helpful and efficient,especially George.

The location is very good, room was clean, breakfast was ok and there was free wifi in the room. I would stay again.

Position near the city centre (near metro and place Catalunya). Hotel was clear and breakfast good. Позиция недалеко от центра города (рядом с метро и место Catalunya). Отель был чистым и хороший завтрак.

Really liked the location of the hotel. The staff weren't pushy at all so it was very relaxed. I would have felt confident that the staff would have been very helpful if we needed some assistance. The rooms were very comfortable with a great view.

Only a couple of minor details. The wifi didn't work in my room (301) only possible near rear of hotel, I have an iPhone like many people don't know if this has anything to do with it? Would also like tea/coffee making facilities in room. This wasn't too much of a problem as you get a coffee just along from hotel.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was available just round the corner from the hotel at a reasonable price. The rooms and bathrooms were large and the room was very quiet despite being on a fairly main road. The hotel is situated less then five minutes walk from one of the main squares where you could pick up a tourist bus and La Rambla was just the other side of the square. Breakfast was okay and reasonably priced

WiFi internet was available free in the rooms but every time you turned off your laptop/iPhone/iPad you had to go through all the log in procedure again when you re-connected which was somewhat annoying.. The bathroom toileteries provided were very basic and I think they should also provide a box of tissues and maybe cottonwool. Also a toilet brush would have been useful.

The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was big and very relaxing after a long day in Barcelona. Its location is just PERFECT! The staff are amazing, my friend forgot somethings in the room, and they shipped it over to us in our hotel in Madrid and it included a golden chain, the whole bag was untouched. Thumbs Up!

Great location

Staff was uncaring. We arrived at about 11:00 A.M., but were told that a room would not be available until 2:00, even though we were in line with people who were checking out. We came back at 2:00 P.M., still no room, even though others had checked in before us. Advertised inroom WiFi did not work. When we inquired over three days, the answer was always a shrug, like we were asking for something unreasonable. When they asked at checkout how our stay was, I mentioned the WiFi problem. The clerk said that he would have someone look into it. Big help for us

the location is perfect and enables city trip by foot. the staff was very welcoming and helpful. breakfast was very good. we recommend this hotel very much !!!

The room is in a normal size, we received as ordered according to this site recommendation a room facing the inner plaza, so we where not on the street and in a high floor (4) in the inner plaza there is an air conditioning which also makes noise all the time, when the windows are closed it is fine... probably better then the main street though. LOCATION. Staff is friendly and tries to help. בסך הכל מדובר במלון טוב.

The walls are rather thin and if someone on your floor (or above or below ) slams his door you will know .... The hot water is apparently shred by all gusts so that if you are taking a shower and someone on the hotel is flushing\showing\using a tap the water temperature changes ferociously. Staff some times want to help to much and instead of saying "i don't know" give you a false answer which can send you on a wild goose case across Barcelona or cost you your flight, you need to make sure their information is good.

very convenient location for many restaurants and all transport links. rooms are spacious and comfortable. internet facility excellent.

The hotel location was perfect, very near to the Placa Catalunya which is the main transport hub and also plenty of good restaurants nearby. The surrounding area itself is a great place for shopping, not just for the main expensive brands but also for local Spanish names as well as high streets and plenty of quircky little shops around. The staffs were all helpful and friendly. The swimming pool at the top of the roof was a bonus, we did use it after all the walkings and sighseeings and our 5 year old daughter absolutely loved it. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and I would strongly recommend Onix Rambla to anyone.
