We used this hotel for 3 nights pre cruise and found everything about it to be extremely good having a large room with large bathroom, free internet and great position in room with view over main street. No noise at all when windows shut although noise is not a problem for my husband and I. We paid for breakfast each morning and found it provided all we needed including a small hot food section. Felt completely safe at all times in this area and certainly stay again if we were in Barcelona again.

The staff was helpful. The hotel is situated in the centre, very close to the metro station. The weather was not so good (at the end of April) and we've cold in the room, because there was not heating.

Located on the Ramble and near the Plaza Catalunya. Noise from the street is endurable. The staff at the reception is not alway on-site, not friendly, no smile at all. There is strange smell of drain in the bath room, should always shut the door to prevent the smell to affect the bed area.

Perfect location No bar THE AIR CONDITIONING DID NOT WORK AND THE ROOM WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE FOR SLEEPING. THE STAFF DID NOT SEEM TO CARE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR ITS LOCATION AND VALUE BUT ONLY IF THE AIR CONDITIONING IS WORKING.

I have stayed in a number of budget hotels on Barcelona and this one is probably the best, good value for money (discounted rates in March), good buffet breakfast, excellent central position with a metro station just round the corner giving easy access to the sights. The bus from the airport stops at the Catalunya just a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel. Room was clean, minimalist decor with huge 6ft double bed. Only drawback was our room was at the front of the hotel and passers by can be noisy on occasion into the night. However this hotel is at the quieter end of the Rambla. If you want a quiet room ask for one at the back of the hotel.

- Location is pretty excellent - Rooms are poorly isolated and you can really know what's going on the street at 5am (and believe me that if you stay during the weekend there will be lots of people around and talking at this hour)

Excellent location close to airport bus terminal and surrounded by many good restaurants. Hotel itself is bright and comfortable. Also well situated for city transport, buses and metro.

Location is great, very close to the main shopping area and well connected to bus and metro stops. Very quiet (despite being crowded in the evening, you do not hear noise at all in the room) and no kids in the hotel :)

Room was not clean. Service was pretty poor.balcony had lot´s of noise and smell from kitchen vent from next door. Very poor maintenance. Not as it used to be !! so sad to expensive for what they offer

Nothing Too expensive for 3 star I think should be 2 star too noisy during the day and night There is no sound insulation for you can hear all noise coming from street cars Traffic and u couldn't sleep. Wifi Internet avail only in lobby
