Best room service and best staff I've seen anywhere in a very long time
Just one type of pillow
Had a computer to access Internet.
The room had a used condom wrapper under the bed upon our arrival. The air conditioning would click on and off every 5 mins during the night which was terrible and we were unable to sleep. The hotel advertised room service and hotel transfers. The room service was apparently unavailable which was not mentioned when we booked and the staff at the front desk told us each day that it would be available the next day of our stay, to only be told that the restaurant and room service is not available for the whole of summer. Apparently as part of our booking we had free breakfast even though at booking we were advised breakfast was extra and we were told a number of times that we would have to pay extra by front desk staff. Upon checkout they charged us for breakfast that we didn't have and upon asking about it they told us that was the price we had to pay. Apparently the hotel also doesn't do hotel transfers and only informed us of this upon departure.
Close to route 150 € 1.50 euro bus ride into I city centre, great rates, very close to Real Madrid's ground just a 2 minute walk. Good hairdresser and inexpensive laundry services just 100 yards on same street- Irish pub 50 yards .
Bar closed on arrival at 2pm , no reason given- car park charges heavy, the access - egress not for inexperienced drivers , as the entry walls can testify .
Convenient for work, close to some restaurants
Underground parking was excellent and breakfast looked good and in nice surroundings.
The rooms looked a bit tired. We asked for a double and they allocated twins which was not good start. The area outside the hotel was messy with litter and debris all over. I think Madrid has a big issue with street cleaning and litter.
Poor Wi-Fi coverage.
Wifi access is either terrible (slow and no access to services like Gmail or Yahoo Mail) or you have to pay for premium Internet... The rooms on 5th floor look like 20 years old, manual safe barely big enough for a wallet, most needed refresh...
The room was extremely clean, even the shower head was spotless. The staff catered to our every need, they kindly allowed us to check out two hours later than the original time.
Location is far from good quality restaurants
Brilliant location for the Bernabeu Stadium and the tour is well worth the money. Hotel was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfy.
Would of liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room and also a iron.
Breakfast optional (and expensive) with an already expensive rate.
Incredible location for attending a Real Madrid Soccer match at Bernbau Stadium! 300 meters walk - we were in the room, while others were still queuing to leave their seats! Delicious and varied breakfast, too. Helpful staff at the reception desk too. Speak fluent English.
Easy walk to the metro to get downtown where most tourist sites/cultural activities / shopping/ restaurants are located. But if you are hitting those sites hard, then probably better to stay in a hotel near Plaza del Sol or other central location.
- very good location: a few minutes walk to the metro station and convenient to go anywhere for sight seeing using metro. Also there are a good super market, a good small restaurant and a coffee shop, etc very near the hotel. - very good services of staff: easy to get the hot water in the hotel restraunt for my cup-noodle. - wide room and convenient WiFi
Position of the hotel was convenient for me
Location and price
wi fi service is not free
Lack of dining at evening time
Heating/ air conditioning a little dated.
This is a nice hotel located very close to Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Room was nice and clean. Big comfortable double bed.
Wi-Fi and breakfast good but expensive.
mostly friendly personnel
Room interior Looks old fashioned, has never been modernized (I am guest since many years because it is Close to my daughters appartment). no separate toilet and bathroom not even a pair of houseshoes
They serve really good food practically all day. The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The blowdryer is old but effective. Wifi connection was very poor.
we booked a weekend in Madrid for the football and in terms of location this hotel was excellent, just a short stroll from the Bernabeu stadium. we really only used the hotel as a base, didnt use any of the facilities. Found the reception staff helpful.
although we found the hotel room very comfortable, spotlessly clean etc. it was extremely hot and there was no way of turning down the temperature, when opened the window it was very noisy and that was 6 floors up!
Close to Santiago Bernabeu
Internet service is very poor! I paid 9eur for wifi connection but it simply does not work! I asked the staff and they all agree that internet is an issue of the Hotel
We travelled to Madrid to attend a Real Madrid match. The location in that respect was perfect, 10 minute stroll from the stadium and the nearest subway. Ideal for a trip to the Bernabeu but must be better places if that's not the sole reason for your trip.
The room was unbelievably hot. The aircon was turned off and, as we was informed by reception, could only be used to heat the room further. This was October in Madrid so not exactly arctic conditions. The staff on reception were OK, not overly warm and welcoming.
Location is excellent.
lots of problems using WIFI. small TV. noisy - from outside and from corridor.
staff very useful ( many thanks ) ; good breakfast , good connection for center ( station subway at 2 min from hotel ) , large room with a large and good bed
soundproof must be improuved assap ; the furnishings are little bit old
