(1) Reasonable price. (2) Shuttle to airport and IFEMA. (3) Good restaurant, food and maitre. (4) Very good bedroom, except for the mattress.

(1) Mattresses lack adequate cushioning over the metal springs, possibly because they are (or seem to be) old. I requested changing for a better cushioned one, but had no answer or explanation. (2) The shuttle leaves you outside IFEMA, only at South entrance. The internal IFEMA bus compensates for that, but only on the second day the shuttle driver informed about it, after I asked him if he could leave me at the North entrance. (3) Metro station is a bit far, specially when walking on very cold days. The solution I adopted was taking the shuttle to IFEMA and using the metro station that is right at its South entrance. (4) Not all receptionists are minimally fluent in English.

Speedy service

Hotel needs updating as it is very tired, old appliances, rusting metalwork, flaking paint. Food was very average.

When you get your keys and are then shown your room it all goes down very fast from there.. very poor rooms in need of major re-fit ..! beds so hard got no sleep and the whole hotel is full of workmen staying at the hotel shouting and smoking all over the place.. Restaurant " Don’t Bother "

It was located near airport with shuttle service to and from airport.

The heat was on full blast at 26-27c with no way to control it. I called the front desk man who obviously did not care. He said it was controlled by the hotel and I would not be able to turn it down and I should leave the window open if I wanted it cooler. Since I was in a first floor room, I did not think it was wise to leave the window open for security reasons, and also since it was extremely cold outside, I was afraid I would catch pneumonia. I did become ill with a bad cough. I would not recommend this place.

One of the few things that were good at this hotel is the shuttle from the airport and to the airport. We used this service both ways and it certainly was efficient and quick. The hotel staff was nice, spoke English (though not that good, but it's better than nothing) and gave us the help we needed, especially when we asked to check out an hour later because of the drive to the airport. Although the hotel's location is far from the city center (between 20-30 minutes by metro), but there is a metro station at relatively reasonable walking distance from the hotel (between 7-10 minutes), so if you have enough time to spend in Madrid, then it might be a good location. For us in retrospect it did not work so well.

From a 4-star hotel we definitely expected more from the hotel's facilities. The room itself is large indeed, but two double beds in one room occupy most of the space leaving little space to the luggage and to move around the room. The furniture is old and overall we felt a big difference from what we've seen on photos on the internet and what actually occurred. Our room window does not close completely, which is what caused the air conditioner did not work properly. Shower head and water flow were horrible and unpleasant. Although Wi-Fi was available in the entire hotel, but it was paid, which we think is very exaggerated at 4 star hotel.

The management staff was stiff, unapologetic, unresponsive and uncaring, openly anti-gay. They offered no help with luggage nor even directions to our room. We had to locate it ourselves. The heater/AC didn't work. When I investigated I found it was turned off. Complaints got no response. Breakfast was unremarkable. WiFi is 18€ a day: ridiculous! The airport shuttle does not go to Terminal 3 & 4. They claimed that the airport van could not pick us up from our room—not true! We would have got better value from the budget hostel downtown.

Quiet place and comfortableness

It is just a recommendation. I was missing a small map just of the area oround the hotel (with names of the streets) especially walking around later in the evening. I had problem to return back.

Convinient location: close to the airport and metro station from which you get to the centre of Madris in 30 min. Nice yard with a picturesque swimming pool.

It took me 40 minutes and 2 calls to the hotel to get a shuttle bus to the airport on arrival.

They claim you don't need to book the airport shuttle, but when I requested it at checkout, they said it was full and were very unhelpful about other options. I ended up walking 3km in the rain to the Metro. My room was dark and out the back. The walkway outside it has a corrugated plastic roof which makes a very loud noise when it's rained on. This meant I slept very little on the two nights (of my 3 night stay) when it rained.

Playground was great for my little boy. Pool area was lovely and I was able to leave my luggage in storage area overnight. Shuttle service fantastic.

Rooms/complex etc a little dated. Left some lost property and contacted staff but they could not arrange shipping for me with me depositing the funds which was a shame. Not many places in the area to eat, buy food etc.

It was an absolute nightmare dealing with this hotel. I wouldn't stay here again for free. We waited nearly an hour at the airport for the shuttle and, upon calling the hotel for the 3rd time, we were told that we don't need to call again.. the shuttle will arrive when it arrives. Then, upon arriving and meeting this rude person at the reception desk, Jorge Vicente, we were met with an even worse attitude. We were told that there's no guarantee provided by the hotel about shuttle timeliness and we should be more educated when we stay at hotels.. Ok, fine, the shuttle took a long time for a hotel that is 3 miles from the airport and that stinks, but this guys attitude was terrible and this story doesn't show how his manner was just terrible for a service industry. He answered a call while checking us in and basically told the person to buzz off and look at the hotel's website for the answer to their questions. After check-in, he didn't tell us how to get to our room which was not simple (it's in another bldg).. and we found another lost guest on the way. ....then, when we got into the building, the hallways were pretty gross.. (ok, i know it's not a 5-star hotel, but it smelled nearly unbearable in the hall). The guest room was reasonably clean for the price.. it was definitely the type of place that you never feel comfortable setting a bare foot on the floor, but wasn't disgusting.. However, there was no toilet paper.. seriously, how does that happen? -- to round off my trip, the only electrical outlet I found to charge my cell phone was slightly behind the nightstand, but upon removing my charging the next morning, I badly cut my hand on a big nail sticking out of the wall. I would have been happier sleeping on a bench in the airport than this place.

I was just there for a night in between flights. Its location and shuttle services were perfect for my needs.

I was very much disappointed. When I made the reservation I was told that there will be a shuttle waiting for me in the airport. I was ther waiting about half an hour and nothing...i went back into the airport called the hotel and learned that they will not come to pick me in terminal 4 because they go only to terminal 2 aned I have to take a special bus to terminal 2 and there tocall them again.....i think we should be acknowledged about it when the reservation for the hotel is made. They had my email. I could choose another hotel with a shuttle waiting for me.i was after 2 long flights and very tired and it was really unconvenient and disappointing I would not recomend the hotel to m friend

I had one of the balconies rooms around the pool and everything was of an excellent standard, though you had to get to the pool early if you wanted a sunbed. However there's a large grass area adjacent to the pool where you could lay your towel. The courtesy bus was great for airport pickup and I had no problems. Many of the staff could speak English which was a great bonus as my spanish is very limited. Most especial thanks to Maria on reception who was most helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
