We picked this hotel for an overnight stop because of its proximity to the motorway and because we prefer smaller establishments in quiet areas; we were not disappointed and, using the gps directions, it was easy to find. We particularly appreciated the spacious residents' areas, complete with pool table and log fire so that we were able to unwind fully before setting off on another full day in the car!

We stayed there last year on our way back from Portugal and loved the hotel and it's food, but particularly the wine which is made there. We ordered a quantity of wine to be picked up on this year's trip. The hotel is ideally placed about 3 miles from the A62 motorway just north of Valladolid. and approximately 150 miles south of Santander. The food which is cooked in a wood fired oven, is delicious. Ines, the receptionist, cook and waitress is extremely pleasant and very helpful, and the garlic soup and roast milk fed lamb were delcious. We will no doubt be returning next year!

Friendly staff, immaculate and good value. Ideal for Santander and Bilbao ports.Would recommend tasting and buying wine their wine. It would be worth checking availability of food in advance.I stayed on a quiet Sunday night in October but I was made very welcome and tapas and wine suited me perhaps more than a formal meal.

A beautiful building in a fascinating, small wine producing village. Excellent food and service. Lovely room. Extremely friendly staff. Very quiet and peaceful. Very well priced.

The location is somewhat remote with very little in the village. However the hotel was clean and offered everything that one needed on a passing through trip, The hotel owners were extremely charming abd tried even with a small language problem to help. Our only issue was with the breakfast which was very ordinary and could be improved, We pre ordered our evening meal which was traditionally Spanish well presented and tastie. Breakfast could be improved

Beautifully restored building, room was very clean and nicely decorated, bathroom small but adequate. Wifi in room. Good breakfast of orange juice, tostadas and coffee. Lounge room with pool table and another smaller lounge/library area with books and brochures about the local area. On site car parking. Easy to find. The village is really nice - in the middle of the Spanish countryside with only a few inhabitants (only 292 in 2004 according to Wikipedia) but it has a really nice church and a good, friendly bar which serves tapas (and possibly food too). No facilities for making a hot drink in room. If you want to eat in the restaurant you have to book in advance (at least one day I believe) and it didn't appear that the restaurant was available as a bar for guests who weren't eating.

Quietness. The nearest town is half an hour away at Palencia .The wine we had with the meal was good, but it should be they produce the wine in the bodega next door. The nearest eating place was half an hour away, so we ate in restaurant. The food was pleasant peasant cooking but the price was unpleasantly princely.

J'ai trouvé l'emplacement pratique. Le repas simple et correcte. Les chambres propres et avec une décoration agréable. Manque un parking fermé.

Heerlijke openhaard. Eigenaars doen echt hun best om het je naar de zin te maken. Prijs in verhouding duur. Kamers sober, weinig sfeer. Douche werkt slecht, ontbijt heel karig. Beetje ham zou fijn zijn.

El diseño de la casa y bodega. Llegamos en plena vendimia y para desayunar nos dieron mosto de uva tinta(excelente) el resto del desayuno sencillo pero buenisimo.RECOMMENDABLE.
