Hotel Palacio Alcázar    

Beautiful quaint hotel in a perfect spot. Waking to everything was very easy.

We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed it. The room was very nicely decorated, and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect.

Great location - steps away from alcazar n cathedral ; clean, modern looking hotel; polite n helpful staff who speak good English. Room has nice decor, wifi works well.

Very minor issues- Room is a bit small but I guess can't complain as probably the same in most other places. Also, we didn't get good hot water during shower the first day but the problem resolved next day by itself...although we didn't change any settings or switch on any extra buttons- not sure why.

Great location, quiet hotel / surroundings, excellent bed high quality mattrass, perfect shower with good water pressure.

Breakfast is very modest, 3 star level, not 4 star.

The hotel was amazingly located. The Alcázar, the Cathedral and the Giralda, were a few meters away, the Guadalquivir river, restaurants and shops, were at a walking distance, and the old town was just around the corner. The front desk personnel, always young girls, were very friendly and nice. The terrace with the view of the Giralda was also very nice, serving delicious tapas. Seville is one of the most beautiful cities we've ever visited, with lovely patios and squares covered with orange trees which had an overwhelming scent from the blossoms.

The room was very small and the bed had an awfull mattress very soft which made you fall towards the middle of it. Besides one kept bumping feet and toes against he foot of the bed. And they charged us for a room with a view, when all the view we got was a very small inner court facing the other rooms.

The hotel is a little jewel in the middle of the old town, just behind the Alcazar and the Cathedral, overlooking a beautiful little cobbled square, lined with orange trees. It doesn't get any more central than this! The cathedral, Alcazar, bars and restaurants are only within 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The setting is absolutely romantic. The hotel looks immaculate and has a beautiful terrace overlooking the cathedral. Our room was quite tiny, but tastefully decorated and immaculate. The bed was a French bed, which didn't bother us. They serve breakfast on the beautiful terrace, with a (limited) choice of savoury and sweet food and some amazing freshly squeezed orange juice. They do have gas heathers on the terrace, but I guess it could get cold in the winter months.

There was not much furniture in the room (and not much space for it either), but could definitely use a bin. No accessories in the room except for shower gel and hand soap (no shower cup, no comb. Etc). I guess they provide them if you ask at reception. You can't reach the hotel by car or taxis, you have to take a 3 minute walk from the main square (which is a restricted area). We found free parking around Plaza d'Espana, which is about 15m walk away.

We were married in Malaga on Monday and stayed at the hotel for our Honeymoon on Maundy Thursday/Easter Friday. The rooftop restaurant was wonderful and the hotel was the perfect location for the processions during Semana Santa. It was a pleasant surprise that John Fulton's studio had been in the building, although we're not from the us. We were extremely grateful that the front desk returned our deposit for the Flamenco show that we couldn't get to, due to the crowds attending the processions. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The Michline Guide map that we bought at the train station indicated that the Plaza de la Alianza is a different name so it took us awhile to find the hotel.

Clean, comfortable hotel in good location. Nice roof terrace for drinks in the evening.

The breakfast was a bit basic. Better value to eat at nearby bars

We visit Seville every couple of months as it is our nearest big city. We have plenty of experience of many hotels there. This place is an absolute gem: quite the best place to stay in the city The staff are all very friendly and professional. Views of the cathedral from the room and roof terrace are superb. The welcome drink on the terrace is a splendid gesture. The rooms are very comfortable. The modern decor is pleasing. Quite superb

You accommodate me in your best room, because it was available and I didn't pay extra! It was perfect! I'm still in impression! Hope to stay there again!

I didn't like that after room cleaning you perfume it. I just didn't like this special smell... But I like your attitude- this is perfect hottel!

Great location and the rooftop bar had spectacular views.

Bed was very low and it was too easy to bang my legs on the bed frame - ouch!

Good location. The rooms were nice and comfy, modern and funcional. We loved the terrace on the roof and our complimentary drink there!

Superb location, small but well designed rooms, great bathroom and really comfortable beds. Top floor rooms with small balcony are worth the extra and the free drink on the roof terrace, which has great views of the cathedral, was a lovely touch. Parking was also really easy in a nearby 24hour car park (about €15 a day).

Very clean, excellent location (once you find it!) in the heart of the old town next to palace and cathedral. Very friendly staff.

Very difficult to access by car. It took us 2 hours to find it after we were in the vicinity, and we finally had to hire a taxi to guide us there. He had trouble too, and had to ask 2 other drivers!

Location in the samlal plaza beautifull Staff were very helpful and friendly,decor was modern and tasteful, the roof-top terrace was a great facility to be able to come back to especially in the evening.

Location, however, it would of been good to know we could drive up to drop off our luggage rather that walking from the garage to the hotel lugging it along.

Staff not alerting us to the fact we could drive our luggage up to drop off, we walked there from the parking garage and made mention we had to walk all the way back to get our luggage and nothing was said about being able to drive it in.

The location and the value for the dollar is excellent!

This hotel lacks the attention to details expected of a 4 star hotel. In my booking I had requested bicycle storage, and we were not informed until we arrived. We had to take our bicycles to another hotel 5 minutes away. We should have been notified within 1 to 2 days of booking, and we could have selected a hotel that would accommodate a bicycle. In addition, there were no toiletries in the bathroom, which I expect in a 4 star hotel, and our toilet paper roll was empty on our arrival.
