Very good,

This new small hotel in central Granada, was originally a Palace in the 16th century. It has been skillfully restored; retaining most of its original architectural features, and is now a delightful nineteen room inn. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, all with private bathrooms, with air conditioning, minibar, satellite TV, safe, hairdryer in bathroom, and internet access. The building is a surrounding a central, typical Granadian columned patio/courtyard. Hotel Rooms: 19 Most recent booking for this hotel was today at 17:03 from Spain.

We live in Sevilla and went for a weekend trip. The hotel staff was very helpful and polite, and our room was very clean. The decor was understated and elegant and the bathroom was clean. The windows were a little high so we couldnt see out without standing on a chair, but I suppose that happens when you stay in a place that was built in the 16th century! The hotel was very quiet although the street outside can get a little noisy, it was nothing that we found too bothersome. Its also close to nearby shopping, restaurants, and other sights. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. The bed was a little too firm and the windows were a too high to see out of.

Enjoyed having a room with two comfortable chairs for reading etc. It was located at the end of a street with lots of restaurants, but even on a Friday night was quite quiet. It was within walking distance of the main attractions.

The location and historical aspect of the Hotel was very appealing. Would recommend it to friends for a break. Using a car is difficult to drop off luggage and. Parking is not easy. Narrow access to the Hotel Entrance, however the Hotel has a negotiated rate of 16e for 24 hrs parking.

The interior decoration was light and airy, give the hotel a smart, new and modern feeling without loosing the atmospheric echo of original building. The room was comfortable and cosy. The location was fantastic for seeing most sites in the centre and its surrounded with bars, restaurants and shopping areas. The staff were obliging and unobtrusive, and the leaflets at the information desk directed us to some beautiful places in Granada. The room was small compared to the pictures on the internet, and very noisy at night and early morning with vehicle traffic. The walls between the rooms were quite thin so we could hear our noisy neighbours on some days. The Wifi didn't work very consistently in the room, and although staff provided us with a cable, it meant only one person could be on the internet at the time (difficult for two working professionals). The fountain in the interior courtyard made a strange buzzing noise, giving the impression that an exotic and possibly dangerous insect had escaped from the local zoo and taken refuge in the hotel. The breakfast would have been greatly improved with the easy, and cheap addition of a plate of fresh garlic to go with the fresh tomatoes, oil and salt.

The rooms are done really nicely. It is very central for the tapas bars, shopping and Alhambra. The staff were also very helpful. Because it is so central space is an issue, the standard room that we had was very small. Also, it is on Calle Navas, the main street for tapas bars. Great if you're staying out all night, but very noisy when you're trying to sleep.

Was visiting Granada & Alhambra only for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon (mid July), and this hotel was an epic choice! Great interior mood... charming & cozy... Good location & veeeeery high standard for a 3 star hotel! Not to mention the very helpful receptionist who booked us a guided flamenco show! Btw, we stayed in the superior double room which was great value for money! I guess the previous reviews had a point regarding the breakfast, but it wasn't as disappointing...

Old World charm and decor The rooms were particularly noisy from the street bars and pedestrian behaviour and we were unable to move into a twin share room, instead having to share a double bed.

The location of this is hotel is perfect. I couldn't have picked a better location from which to explore Granada. Also I left some items in the room after check out and the staff were extremely helpful about getting them back to me. Breakfast was delicious, but a little crowded. A bigger dining room would be appreciated.

Location, location, location & very tastefully renovated. Despite their best attempts at double glazing, if you get a room on the street it´s very noisy. Despite a fabulous renovation job on the old palacio, the walls are a bit thin & you can hear the plumbing when other guests shower etc. Not for light sleepers, 2am-7am is the no noise zone, so if you can survive on 5 hours, go for it! The tv is pc screen size so don´t plan on watching without a magnifying glass...not that you should watch tv whilst in Granada!
