Unusable wi-fi in my room; could not work properly when needed Same short menu for lunch and dinner day after day in the restaurant Stinky and cold steam room at the spa No gym
Exceptionally large room Friendly restaurant staff Great breakfast
Gorgeously designed bedrooms. Great restaurant.
Cold spa and steam room. Spa people are not professionally trained.
I had stayed 6 nights in Spain. Patos Hotel staff is the kindest~
The room was huge and very comfortable. The staff was a delight. One chap helped me book a train ticket and helped me with a problem I had with my card. He was very kind and his was typical of the culture and attitude of the service staff.
There are 2 weird statues of swans hovering in the air above a pond. It somewhat spoils the entrance to the Palacio. And to nit pick, the bathroom while gorgeous, was obviously designed by a man. The light was insufficient for makeup application and there wasn't enough bench space for one's stuff. And the room could have done with a reading lamp on the desk.
Everything. The staff training must be excellent because every staff member from reception, restaurant and housekeeping knew what they were doing and did it well and did it with a smile. On arrival we got a tour of the hotel and our room faculties and while I was speaking Spanish to them, they were happy to speak English to my husband so he understood. The old part of the hotel has been renovated in a very cool, comfortable & contemporary way. Loved our room.
The outside terasse is very nice with good service from the staff.food very good.
The best part of the stay was returning to the hotel and having a drink in the patio; you forgot that you were still in the center of the city.
contemporary luxury with historical touch.....
Wonderful setting, great location, delicious food and large comfortable rooms.
The Junior Suite we asked for was spacious and pristine...The bedding was superb very very comfortable and at the end of a very exhausting day an absolute dream...staff were very helpful a definite 5 star well deserved.....
We thought the television programmes were extremely limited for English speaking guests....and thought the hotel should have a few DVDs for those wanting an early evening......also there were no coffee making facilities in the suite.....
Our junior suite Room 44 was the perfect modernist complement to the heady and intensive experience of the Alhambra and Albercain and the history and contributions of Muslim Spain
The courtyard garden is a delightful oasis in the centre of town and great for an early evening aperitif. The tapas was also very well received. Our room was spacious with reasonable facilities and a comfortable bed. Overall the staff were quite helpful.
The noise from the downstairs restaurant kept us awake on nights when they served outdoors. The hotel design in the new quarter is a little unnerving with all walls and doors in frosted glass. Some of the bedroom floor appeared to water damaged and was starting to lift.
Good location, excellent friendly staff, good facilities
Breakfast though good was expensive. Room a bit noisy
Intimate and special. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Great gin and tonic. Excellent spa. The price may be high but the experience is good value.
Not good noise isolation of the room
All staff (both front of house and back stair) were cheerful, welcoming, eager to help make the visit the best you could have. The breakfast was a cornucopia of tastes and colour.
We could not find anything not to like about this visit.
The staff and management were first class. Polite and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent.
I did not like the new facility. The older building is beautiful. The newly built building is mediocre at best, and the lower floors felt like a prison.
no hot water on our night's stay
All of the people who work there are really nice and helpfull.
There is not any kettle or an iron.
spa availability easily able to book treatments plenty of choice for breakfast and hot breakfast available on request
no drawer space for clothes only hsnging space. We were in the new block which was very modern so this could have been the reason
my best experience in Spain. location is great. building and facilites are outstanding terrace gourdios - restaurant (great food) in the terrace, fantastic ambience staff is great, best service you can get in spain
nothing, everything was outstanding
Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. The garden is stunning. And the room size of Junior Suit is great.
There is one elder female staff I met when I checked out, who was rude and cold. But only her, others are great.
Loved this hotel. It is very central, but secluded within the lovely garden. The welcome to the hotel was friendly and personal (and getting the car parked is always a plus : ). We were lucky and got an upgrade to a Junior Suite, which is absolutely gorgeous. I am told it was the old library. Having a quiet drink in the comfortable sofas in the garden after a full day of walking, taking in the sights - and oh, yes, shopping - was bliss. Would certainly recommend this hotel to friends.
The hotel bar interior. It seemed sterile and had very cold lighting. Granted, normally you would sit out in garden enjoying the sun - but we had rain during our stay, and sitting inside in this bar was not that pleasent. The staff, though, were very pleasant.
