Loved the location. Directions were good as to where to park and take a taxi to the hotel. Could walk to the Alhambra and enjoyed the relaxing hamman two minutes away. Liked the ambiance of the restored palace. The staff was most helpful.

It would have been nice to have fresh orange juice for breakfast. The croissants were not the best.

Charming building and neighborhood Great location within walking distance of many points of interest Stunning view of the Alhambra from our top floor room Easy log on to wifi- dependable Good quality breakfast at a reasonable price

Room was a little small but had a huge closet so easy to keep things out from underfoot and the view more than made up for it

The location was excellent, just near the Albaicín area, there were many tea shops, restaurants and souvenirs shops nearby. The Alhambra was 20 minutes walk. The building itself was an old palace so the atmosphere was very nice. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special either.

As rooms are located in a kind of court with wooden floors, it was quite noisy each time there was a guest getting in or out of the room, so sleep quality was not the best. The lift was very old which resulted even scary.

The people running the hotel were incredibly thoughtful, providing assistance before we even knew to ask about it (E.G., where to collect our Alhambra tickets we had ordered online, offering to hold our luggage after we checked out). The location was outstanding. We stayed at 4 hotels during our Spain trip. This was our favorite hotel, by far.

Location was excellent - views of the Alhambra, in the heart of the old city and close to many good restaurants. Reception staff were brilliant! Helpful in every way and full of useful advice. Breakfast was great - a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of choice.

Steps - and lots of them! But without the steps we would have lost either the Alhambra views or the atmosphere or both.

We loved the quaint and historical nature of the hotel, and the staff was very helpful with flamenco show reservations and maps. We appreciated the uniqueness of the rooms, which were comfortable and charming. Hotel breakfast had wonderful variety with Spanish flare. We would have loved to stay another day.

A bit difficult to park nearby, so we used an underground lot in town and took a taxi up to the narrow walking streets to the hotel door.

Impeccable room with outstanding view. Quiet yet steps away from the best tapas, mojitos, local color. Access to sacramonte by foot and to the hubbub of plaza nueva. Best spot by the river.

    That we couldn't stay longer

The location in the Albacyn, the view from the room of the Alhambra. The reception staff were very helpful. Overall it was perfectly ok. Quiet aircon

The room was quite small although adequate. The shower screen was nowhere near the shower, so you were always trying to stop water getting onto the floor. they had room to put two basins in the unit but only had one. Personal taste but the general decoration was very dull.
