...The beautiful location and the spacious airey rooms... ..The design of the bathroom was poor. Aesthetically it was good but my partner has difficulty bending his knees fully and had to remove her partial artificial leg in order to sit on the toilet because of the poor siting of the 2 sinks. Also it was very difficult to turn the disc that opens/closes the plug in the bath again because of the poor siting of the 2 sinks at the opposite end.to the toilet

Brilliant hotel, the staff spoke, for the most part, spoke good enough English. They upgraded us on arrival, which I expected to pay for, but was free! The library area is lovely and the rooms have a different but luxurious feel, due to the old walls of the monastery combined with modern amenities and wooden floors. The bathroom was also very clean and well equipped! Would definitely stay there again. The only choice in Salamanca for luxury and service! The aircondiontion didn't seem to get cold, but as it wasn't hot at this time of year this wasn't an issue. I'm sure they would have moved us if this was the case anyway.

It is really close to most of the important historic sites in the city. Breakfast is overpriced.

Location. Overlooking beautiful courtyard belonging to the church. The room was atmospheric too. The long walk through endless corridors to get to our room!

The location was fabulous and the overall design and decoration was very comfortable. The front desk staff recommended and wonderful restaurant for our arrival lunch. Unfortunately we woke to no hot water. The morning front desk staff assured us that the issue was resolved and we would have hot water within 20 minutes. The 20 minutes passed and still no hot water, we were again assured we would have it within 10 minutes and on and on. This process continued for 2 hours and we never did get hot water. We were not offered another room with hot water or given any other options. The experience started well and ended terribly. At checkout we received "sorry" and that was it, no attempt to satisfy us. Therefore, we will not visit again and will not recommend this facility to anyone.

This is a real find! The location and facilities are excellent, and the staff were first-class. The building is set within/around a four hundred year old is excellent, building, which has been built nine years ago. The atmosphere combines brilliant traditional architecture with ultra modern features and fittings. Heating control was also good. Breakfast for two and parking added fifty euros to the bill! We will return each time we're in Salamanca.

A beautiful hotel located in an old convent. It is situated close to the historical area of Salamanca. The staff were very helpful at all times. Room was spacious and comfortable. Disappointed that there were no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. I think these should be provided in a 5* hotel! Although they advertise a full free mini bar in the room, all they provide is 2 small bottles of water, a small bottle of beer and 2 small bottles of soft drinks. This is not what I would call a full mini bar!

We loved the location, decor, friendliness of staff and very helpful in their recommendations. It was great to have free parking. I think that breakfast should be included in the daily rate. We stayed in a few Paradores and breakfast was included.

Quite easy to access by car and superbly placed to explore the old city. The historic building had been beautifully converted for hotel use and the room was very comfortable and quiet. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable stay in elegantly restored convent. The little touches are there, limited complimentary mini bar, range of useful items in the bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Did not have dinner but breakfast was excellent and comprehensive. Position of the hotel is easy to access for all travelers including those driving.driving. And for those on foot (as I was) the centre of the sight seeing action is a short walk away. One of the better establishments I stayed in during my five week stay in Spain.
