Hotel Casa 1800 Granada is a restored 17th-century building in central Granada, just over a quarter mile from the Alhambra. It offers free afternoon snacks, free Wi-Fi and a typical Andalusian patio.
Score from 704 reviews Wonderful
This 19th-century building is in the historic center of Granada, 320 yards from the cathedral. The Alhambra is within a 15-minute walk of the property.
Score from 763 reviews Excellent
The hotel is well located at the base of the historic hilly street houses in Granada near the Alhambra Castle. The staff could not have been more helpful in every respect. The lounge room, breakfast room and courtyard are in a sunken historic setting and are very attractive, Our room proved a wonderful vantage point for a street celebration!
TV needs to be larger. Barista made capuccino on full coffee machine is preferable.
Staff was excellent
Spa was small, especially the warm water pool
Location very good, staff very helpful,
General comment , car parking is expensive in public car parks close to hotel.
The hotel was really really nice with a very good location. It had very comfortable rooms and beds. The inner patio of the hotel was a perfect place to sit and relax and have a drink. It was one of the best experiences in my life so far.
Excellent location; nice room with all the amenities; tasty breakfast (included); very helpful and accommodating stuff.
Wonderful place, with perfect location, attentive staff and very-very-very good rooms.
Location was excellent
The room was too hot, and uncomfortable to sleep in. This is the first time in this class of hotel that aI was unable to sleep. There is no cngierge at this hotel. Staff's English is very poor especially in the breakfast room. In house catering for dining purposes in the evening is far too expensive. I have been very didappointed with this hotel. The cost of this was the most xpensive of the hotel we stayed in in Andalucia. Would not recommend this hotel for value of money . We have stayed in many jotels all over the world and is hotel rates poorly as far as we are concerned. Staff speak English like parrots at reception but there is very little interaction to make one feel special. Sorry but will not stay in an Amercican owned hotel in Sain again.
the yard in middle of the hotel is outstanding location
tricky access by car.
Place with a great deal of charm
we booked a courtyard room but were allocated another room which was actually more suitable for us,comfortable, spacious and quiet.competent friendly staff and superb cooking in restaurant.
a hotel of this quality should have a safe in every room, there were none. all the lights in both of our rooms were either on or off.
Beautiful courtyard and inner Riad style courtyard.
Noise! Staff pulling cases across tile floors. Wedding party very noisy for two nights. Don't want to be mean but nice for them much to celebrate but not so good for me especially as I had to drive the next day.
Location, dinner, bar, personnel
Lighting in suite. One switch turned everything on or off. Couldn't bypass.
Bathroom shower curtain had obvious mold and was so dirty....ridiculous.
Alles wat je van een luxe hotel verwacht is er !
Lovely old monastery with a beautiful central courtyard. Very central for the main area of Granada and within walking distance of the Alhambra. A good choice of restaurants/shopping nearby.
The rooms are very dark, some with very little natural light. The modern interiors of the rooms are dark and the lighting inadequate especially in the bathroom, difficult to put makeup on!
Superb converted monastery Interesting decoration Excellent buffet breakfast Courteous staff Central location
Our room (132) was far too dark during daytime due to patio covering, making it impossible to read a book
Cleanliness of hotel Amenities Location Staff
Good location (Bus C1 and C3 to main attractions and ten minutes taxi from the railway station). Friendly staff to provide information. We arrived at 7am and the hotel reception staff give us free early check in. Unbelievab environment. The inside courtyard is very beautiful and you can enjoy the free drink from 19:30 to 22:00.
A fantastic hotel with a lovely courtyard.
Unfortunately, no swimming pool. The quality of the restaurant food (excellent quakity of products, but unsufficiant quality of preparation)
Atmosphere of patio. Closeness to center of city. Valet parking.
Waiter in the restaurant didn't make us feel welcome. Prices rather stiff
Our car was damaged when the staff either parked it for us on arrival or when they delivered it back to the hotel for our departure. I was not impressed as it is a 5 star hotel. We did not notice the damage until we stopped for petrol later that day. I was very disappointed this happened.
Perfect location in the city centre and a 30 minute walk from the Alhambra
No outside area to chill out and enjoy a break from being on one's feet all day
