Unfortunately, no swimming pool. The quality of the restaurant food (excellent quakity of products, but unsufficiant quality of preparation)
Atmosphere of patio. Closeness to center of city. Valet parking.
Waiter in the restaurant didn't make us feel welcome. Prices rather stiff
Our car was damaged when the staff either parked it for us on arrival or when they delivered it back to the hotel for our departure. I was not impressed as it is a 5 star hotel. We did not notice the damage until we stopped for petrol later that day. I was very disappointed this happened.
Perfect location in the city centre and a 30 minute walk from the Alhambra
No outside area to chill out and enjoy a break from being on one's feet all day
Location , Food , room facilities ... Every thing
Safty boxes are located at Grand Floor without security. It should be in the own room.
excellent location, great staff, clean and very friendly. would happily repeat my visit
Everything. Beautiful restaurant for authentic Spainish dining and fine cuisine. Staff could not do enough for us.
Great hotel with exemplary customer service. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent location also contributed to a great stay.
Great hotel and staff. The hotel was previously a convent and our room overlooked a beautiful courtyard where they have weddings and first communion celebrations which we watched on the Saturday of our stay. The restuarant was wonderful -El Claustro-Michelin recommended and the best food we had in Grenada.
Had a little trouble with wifi reception in the room but otherwise this hotel was terrific.
Excellent location, comfortable rooms, beautiful lounge area and patio downstairs.
Excellent staff, friendly, helpful
The hotel is very nice, staff very helpful. Very good location. The highlight is the restaurant with the absolutely amazing food for dinner not to be missed!
The first night, people in the room next to us came in late and were very noisy. we should mention that one call to the reception resolved the issue immediately.
Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms
No safe in room
Staff. Not helpful
the location of the hotel is on the most important street in Granada. the internet is free. the people in the hotel are very nice and very very helpful. the room is from Andalusian style. The hotel is 15 min away from the Alhambra Palace by a car and 10 min away on foot to Cathedral.
the room has no safety box, but you can get a key from a safety box in the reception downstairs.
The helpfulness of the staff as always was excellent
Location perfect, building and facilities very good.
Rooms were not amazing
The staff just don't know how to please you and they were very supportive
Carmen at the front desk was extremely helpful! When I needed recommendations for dinner she set me up at two fabulous places. Nice to have as a solo female traveller. Hotel was in a great location, close to everything, very clean and very nice. Loved it.I would recommend to others!
Can't really say much. Hotel was great!
location is perfect for a city trip, the courtyard is beautiful. Staff was quite helpful.
small room, small bed(queen size max). Rooms are quite worn down. Water in the shower turns very hot and then normal again. Hotel can only approached by car by using the bus/taxi lane. Poor WIFI signal on the room(payed). Staff forgot to get our car, had to ask twice..
The food is brilliant. There is a great breakfast buffet and all hot food is cooked to order and beautifully done. Dinner was of a very high standard with delicious, beautifully presented, food. The courtyard is a nice setting. Location is ideal near the cathedral. The Alhambra bus is two minutes walk and the train station is a short taxi ride. The Albaicin area is just over the road although be prepared for a steep climb - it's worth it though for the views of the Alhambra.
Except for the grand function room (which of course most guests never use), the whole place doesn't have a 'Palacio' feel - it's been rather over developed and over sanitised in its conversion. I stayed in the more modern part. The rooms are small - although not as gloomy as the photos on the website suggest - one easy-chair and no desk. The room wifi was hopeless despite having to pay for it. You buy a card which lasts for 24hrs (note: NOT 24hrs of being online, it lasts for 24hrs from when you first log on). You can only use it for one appliance. So if you've logged in with it on your laptop, you can't use it for your iPhone. The signal dropped all the time and could only cope with about 30 secs of streaming before freezing. The wifi in the public parts is fine. I really don't know why they don't extend it to the rooms - come on Marriott this is the 21st century. There are no proprietary toiletries in the bathroom and no box of tissues - just a tiny hotel-branded packet of five tissues. This is a triumph of design over practicality: designers wanted all the bathroom things to fit onto a wheeled trolley under the washbasins. Customers just want a plentiful supply of tissues. And while I'm on design - the reception lounge area has the most uncomfortable settees ever, with beautifully arranged skimpy, thoroughly impracticable cushions.
Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous monumental city. Gorgeous morrocan palace Alhambra and Albayzin district.
Centrally situated in former convent. Tasteful, understated decor. Good internal courtyard and seating areas. Attractive al fresco dining. Buffet breakfast with good fruit, cheese ,meats, yogurts and excellent pastries. Very helpful reception staff.
