Our 3 rd stay at this hotel great food nice rooms ideal for a few nights break
Indoor pool could do with being freshened up
Its ok for what you pay, everthing is ok. We had a weekend break it was perfect for that, out of season. I normally stay 5* so i not going to be critical.
the hotel was nice food was good and the hotel was clean, yet the rooms desperately need a good makeover,
the beds where very uncomfortable, so was the pillows, So I suggest you take your own and perhaps a camp bed.
Bed wasn't very comfortable
Gym was inoperative, basic and incomplete. Had metal swarf in my evening meal and management shrugged it off. Definitely not a four star, more a two...
food 8/10 room 7/10
no sun beds lack of space around the pool
There was a good choice of food for breakfast and the quality of the food was satisfactory. Good parking facilities.
Not a four star hotel and poor value for money at 230 Euros per night bed and breakfast. All inclusive guests on package holiday get a much better deal. This is the worst hotel regarding value for money that we have stayed at during our travels through France and Spain. The lifts are old, small and you always have to wait a long time for one. Rooms were small and basic. Long queues in the evening to get a drink.
Never is a four star hotel Very dated and quality lacking
bus stop out side, every 30 minutes
on a hill the walk in to town
Food was great and staff
Down side very high up and lot of steep hills
clean on the outside
very shabby and dated on the inside . THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL
Location was good. Breakfast was excellent.
Beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were very lumpy.
It was great value and was perfect for a one night stay.
It was at the top of a very steep hill!
Bathroom could do with updating, more variety of food, and different entertainment
The Hotel is very good value for money and you can get tokens for a ride into Town I would always stay there if I was in my car , the area is very hilly and for older people is too far to walk, it`s a good place to stay and is ideal for children.
On the whole their is nothing to dislike, It`s a lovely place to stay especially if you go All Inclusive but the drinks in my opinion are a little expensive.
The situation was good as they put a free bus on. Away from the lager louts. We both enjoyed the food as we always have done. Free Car Parking. I will not go to a hotel that charges for guests parking. So more than satisfied and that was our 4th time at this hotel and we will go back to this hotel in the future.
Booking . com always ask if we want special conditions . We always ask for ground floor due to walking difficulties but the hotel are never informed so why ask. Thankfully the hotel are always very helpful and give us a ground floor.
Nothing except the free car parking
I had to be moved rooms as soon as got there as the bathroom wasn't clean, hairs all over the floor and urine in the underside of the toilet bowl, 2nd room wasn't much better, same urine stains, i think they need to re train their cleaners! We booked this hotel as a 4 star, and saw it recommended but there is absolutely no way is it that, I would put it at a 3 star or less, the furniture is old, there is nothing modern or smart about the hotel The breakfast was diabolical, neither of us enjoyed any of it. It was like a cattle market if you got there about 9am, full of Spanish pushing and shoving. They should pre warn that the road to the hotel is quite hilly. We didn't mind as we are quite fit but after a full day walking around it was little taxing!
I liked that there is entertainment and evening shows through out the winter months.
The price of the swimming caps were €4 each and you have to buy one before entering the pool, it all adds up, and I probably could of brought one in town for much cheaper.
Very good all around
Time. For a little love and care but very clean
On the whole a good hotel but never a 4 star not in the last 10 years any way. Rooms are more like 2 star could have done with a make over years ago
Indoor swimming pool but not well suited
Food was good but did not have to be self service all the time. Bedroom poor for a 4 star. Told to clear dishes away in a special tray. Well that is a new one what about the waitresses and waitors. Would certainly not use this hotel again.
Staff very welcoming and helpful on arrival. Room very clean with maid service every day even though we declined on a couple of days as not needed. We found, despite the negative comments on here, that the food was excellent with very good choices at all times and it was always hot. I would say that the hotel was very busy so fresh food was being brought out all the time. Maybe at less quiet times this is not the case. Dining area was also very clean and tables were cleared and relaid as soon as people left. One thing which really showed was the lack of rowdiness you associate with all inclusive and whilst the hotel offer all inclusive if you are staying for 7 days or more it does deter the stag and hen parties who only come for long weekends. Not that i have anything against this as when we visit Benodorm at other times of the year we do tend to stay in all inclusive where these parties also stay but on this occassion it was only myself and the wife instead of the usual 12 people !! Didnt get to use many of the facilities apart from the dining area but they all seemed to be of a good standard and always very clean. Location was also very quiet.
Only thing i can really say on a negative side is the location in regards the steepness of the walk from the beach back to hotel. On the positive side to this there is a taxi shuttle service operated by the hotel along with a local bus service and the train/bus which comes past every half hour. Also the lifts could do with updating to larger ones as despite there being 3 lifts you could only get 4 people a time in them and as the hotel was pretty much full you did have to wait at times.
This is the third time we have stayed at the Palm Beach and find it very friendly and the food is good. The hill into town is a bit steep for me but not a problem as they put on buses.
However on this occasion we were basically called liars by a member of staff at the front desk. She told us when we asked about the bus times that they had their own buses now and they run continually from 10.15 to 6pm. knowing the previous buses stopped in the afternoon we asked if they still stopped in the afternoon and were bluntly told that they were on from 10.15am until 6pm. We were not told it stopped 2pm-3pm. We were at the bus stop at 1.45pm but no bus. When we spoke to the staff member who had given us the timings she said she had told us and basically called us both liars and we should have looked at the board. We never look at the board as we are there to relax. Due to this we felt uncomfortable and we will go elsewhere in future.
