The beautifully-restored, 16th-century Palacio de Elorriaga is just half a mile from central Vitoria-Gasteiz. It is surrounded by grounds and offers free Wi-Fi on site.
Score from 390 reviews Very good
The modern rooms at the Silken Ciudad de Vitoria are set around an impressive lobby and charming interior garden with seating areas.

This modern and stylish hotel is situated in one of the nicest residential areas in Vitoria-Gasteiz, and provides apartments with views of the surrounding grounds.

quiet rural setting - old historic building with fantastic food
1. My bill included someone else's 50 euro lunch which was removed after I questioned it and the signatures compared and obviously not mine. 2. When I reported in the morning that I had left my purse in the restaurant after dinner, there was no sense of trying to help me find it - a call was made to the restaurant who said they did not find it and that was it..when I personally searched under the table at which we had been sitting and found my purse, it was with great relief that it had been untouched under the table all night.
dinner service was a bit too rushed, with breakfast being laid out before dinner was over!
Interesting old building Excellent food High standard of rooms (recently renovated and some of best I've stayed in at a Parador)
Perhaps renovation has lost a little of the character of the building in places.
We always enjoy staying in Paradores and this one did not disappoint.
We used this Hotel as a stop over, it was wonderful. Car park was safe and very peaceful. We very much enjoyed our visit and the food was very good.
Only 2 hours from the ferry and easy to find. Beautiful building and great food at a reasonable price .
Excellent staff on reception
Restaurant staff provided poor service and poor food spoilt our stay each time we have stayed
As always a very nice hotel.it has been upgraded since our last stay and the results are excellent.
Not much choice on menu
Beautiful old building, tastefully modernised. Very good sized and comfortable room. Superb dining room. Generally the feel of a top class hotel
Little, but dinner was to a degree spoilt by the staff being under pressure and having to rush, leading to a mistake in our order. Also, they were under pressure to clear early, given the late starting time for dinner normal in Spain.
The friendly and helpful staff
Location very small room for a parador not what I would expect. Only one east chair in a double room. Very small bathroom with little room between bath and basins. Difficult to access. Very disappointed with this parador.
Very nice hotel. Beautiful views and beautiful rooms. We stayed at this Parador after spending a few days at another Parador and this one was definitely more elegant.
Fabulous location and a wow factor hotel.would have loved to stay longer, but can't wait to go back.
We think the chef had a night off and the "warmer upper" was on duty! Sadly the only bad mark was for the quality of the food, which didn't compliment everything else about the establishment. Shame.
Lovely staff very kind and helpful could not fault the Parador.
The hotel is in a peaceful, commanding location above the town of Vitoria -Gasteiz. The building has a lot of history, as with many Paradores. It is a 4 star hotel, therefore, as you would expect is quite luxurious. The rooms are modern, clean, very comfortable, quiet and with a queen size bed (or singles), which made for a very good night's sleep. Staff are courteous and helpful, and speak some English, but not everyone has a good grasp of English.
This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel, the last time being 2 years ago. We feel that the value for money was not as good this time. The breakfast menu seemed more limited and cheaper substitutes offered which to us indicates there has been some cost cutting measures taken. In our opinion it is just not worth 16 euros each. Similarly, the meal we had in the evening was extremely expensive in regard to what we chose, even allowing for the fact it is a 4 star hotel.
- lovely situated - perfect breakfast - good beds - big room
- bad food for dinner - they are not cleaning enough, dead fly was lying on the table for 2 days - complicate procedure for invoicing (like always in Spain)
Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely large room and luxurious bathroom with everything high quality. Superb breakfast.
Very well presented - up to date. Overnight stopover only and perfect for our needs. Staff very freindly and efficient.
dinner was a disappointment
Our room was very comfortable, view over the countryside was pleasing. Proximity to motorway for long distance travellers - as we were that night - my only reason for recommending it.
WiFi is not available in the rooms despite what it says on Booking.com. They offer wired internet in the rooms - how many travellers use that anymore? The restaurant [good food] does not open till 8.30pm. The only patrons seemed to be guests as the hotel is remote - why so late? Even in Spain? Nothing else is available in the area!
It's an oasis of calm, and the reception and breakfast staff were particularly helpful.
It would have been nice to have been shown to our table at dinner, with a menu in English (I do have some Spanish but there was a range of options to go through) rather than left to our own devices, though we appreciate the restaurant was reasonably busy at that time.
Comfort. Attention to details in room Openin g on to private garden
Building, setting, levels of comfort / service
Beautiful accommodation, especially the wood used and the luxurious carpet in common areas. Fantastic location. Very nice suppers.
Would have been nice just to have a coffee and croissant rather than the 16 euro breakfast but cafe wasn't open first thing.
Beautiful location, excellent concept.
The food could have been better and there is not another good option within walking distance
