Parador de Cangas de Onís  

Very nice hotel, helpful friendly staff.

Evening meal service was slightly rushed.

The transformation of an old monastry in superb location into a first class hotel, nothing was too much for the staff.

The building and the place are unique. The rooms are big and clean.The stuff are speaking enough English to be understand

No body will offer to you to carry your suitcases (do it by yourself) The dinner was oufull. Uneatenable, I think the cook has taken a day off. Better to eat outside in the near town

Interesting old building with new annex for most rooms, popular with locals for weddings and other functions, plenty of parking, good value food, nice location being 30 min walk from Cangas so quiet in evenings.

Pity that there is not a kettle in the room, or that staff do not understand much english. Service in the bar is variable but very relaxed. Food served in the bar is good value but not very exciting and tends to have very dry bread in sandwiches and bocadilos.

I liked the secluded, quiet location, next to a river and surrounded by hills and woods. The old part of the Parador was very beautiful, the new annex where we stayed, less so. However the bedroom was large and well equipped and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and efficiently served.

I would have preferred to stay in the older part of the monastry but this was much more expensive. Overall I found the Parador rather expensive, particularly the 18 euro each breakfast.

Bien dans l'ensemble sans rien de particulier à noter. Normal pour un Parador.

Le cadre est magnifique. Accueil et personnels agréables et professionnels. Les chambres confortables et spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner buffet : diversité, fraîcheur et quantité.

Un trés léger bémol sur le repas du soir qui n'est pas tout à fait à la hauteur d'un quatre étoile.

. Encontre una buena oferta y acepte pasar una noche allí. Lo conocia de pasada y esta era una buena oportunidad de dormir en él. Iba con familia y dijeron que se habían sentido como reyes. Para mí y mi marido fue una buena escusa de visitar a unos amigos en Villanueva de Canggas. La habiatacion estupenda llena de detalles. EXCELENTE

Todo me ha parecido bien a mí y mis acompañantes

Si me ha gustado, aunque ha sido una pena el no poder estar alojados en el edificio antiguo.

Si, me ha gustado mucho todo, calidad precio y servicios, el personal del hotel ha sido también excelente, el trato es muy bueno, lo malo´por hacer alguna mención a algo, son las indicaciones hasta llegar a él, no lo indican bien, dimos muchas vueltas hasta que conseguimos llegar, no estaba señalizado como se merece, pero por el resto todo excelente y con ganas de repetir. La ubicación es excelente, a solo 2 km de cangas de onis. La habitación es muy grande y el cuarto de baño enorme. El personal nos trató con gran amabilidad e intentó ayudarnos en todo lo que le pedíamos. Cuidan todos los detalles para que tu estancia sea única. Es un antiguo monasterio que conserva todos los detalles como un museo, ademas que las vistas de la habitación daban al Sella, en medio de la naturaleza. Sin duda, nuestra estancia ha sido muy satisfactoria, de los mejores paradores en los que hemos estado. Sin duda, repetiremos.

En la limpieza de la habitación no reponen el kit de aseo del cuarto de baño...pero te dejan bombones encima de la cama y te preparan la habitación por la tarde para que este lista para dormir!. Si hay mucha gente, se oye la ducha en la habitación de al lado y a la gente andando por los pasillos. No está bien insonorizada.
