The hotel was a treat and it's position overlooking the beach and the bay was perfect.

Nerja itself is OK but full of ex-pats, English signs and chips with everything. The pollution in the sea was very off putting. The shops in Nerja are very ordinary and lack style or anything different to buy.

We loved this rather architecturally challenged 1970's (?) hotel. The best parts were: the overall cleanliness; the beautiful gardens; unobtrusive, attentive and friendly staff; the magnificent breakfast; the calm and almost serene atmosphere; the views; the pool; the terrace; all the outdoor seating areas - It was a thoroughly relaxing oasis in one of the better Costa del Sol towns.

paying sometghing like £8 a day for for parking is a real downer and unnecessary; the hotel is a little bit tired - could do with a makeover - Having said that its really not an issue

The vista from our room was breathtaking overlooking the sea and mountain. The garden grounds are beautiful with many interesting plants and trees - a very relaxing area. Looked forward to eating breakfast on the terrace each morning to take in the wonderful views and enjoy the April sunshine Staff were friendly and courteous at all times. We hope to visit the Parador de Nerja again.

Our room was at the far end of the longer end of the building so seemed quite far away and although comfortable and kept immaculately clean could perhaps do with updating.

We liked the rooms, the gardens, the beach access and the tennis court, as well as proximity to Nerja itself. The breakfast served in our room was superb and at no extra cost.

At the premium rates one pays, we were surprised to be charged extra for parking, and to use the tennis courts. We've definitely had equal quality and better value in non-paridor hotels. Staff could be a bit less stiff. (And we speak spanish !)

An excellent hotel to stay at hotel with great service and choice at breakfast. The hotel is situated at a marvellous spot overlooking the sea with wonderful views and grounds and yet very close for exploring the delights of Nerja. We will happily return again.

Not really. Bathroom could do with an end-of-season tidy up. Staff on Reception are very helpful if a bit severe !!- a big smile would help.

Lovely location, and beautiful gardens. Rooms a little tired but still very comfortable and clean. Views lovely. Car parking expensive and not necessary to charge for parking. However would stay here again but park elsewhere!

Room was a little shabby, no extra facilities avavilable such as iron, kettle which when you are traveling hand luggage would have been useful. To get washing/ironing done by hotel was very expensive

Loved all of it....stayed there for four nights in late October. Great location and very disabled friendly with a lift down to the beach area and disabled access into the swimming pool Restaurant menu very good but may get a little repetaive for a seven night stay. Staff couldn't be more helpfull and 110% sevice from Miguel one of the dining room duty supervisors. A great place for the 'Young at Heart' whatever their age...

As the hotel is not the cheapest for the quality of service given the perhaps 8.5 Euros per night for parking is a little greedy and certainly there should be parking consessions for those disabled car user guests who have little option but to park on site.

Lovely views out to sea and along the coast. Helpful, friendly staff. Access to lovely beach. Good parking. Lovely plants around the gardens, with a board telling you all about them. Pretty fountain.

Would have liked the information on plants to be in English as well as Spanish.

We had a lovely room with a beautiful view overlooking the gardens and the sea. It was very quiet and peaceful but within 5 minutes walk of plenty of restaurants. Our one regret was that we had only booked a week. We also did not have dinner in the restaurant which we regretted, but will definitely try it on our return hopefully next year, The breakfasts were superb with plenty of choice.

The ocean view from our room in this hotel was amazing. The grounds and facilities are wonderful and relaxing (with the sea view). The breakfast was very nice.

the hotel has been remodeled but it still feels a bit dated. The beds were too hard for us. We usually stay in boutique hotels and inns. so I am probably not the best reviewer of a "traditional" luxury hotel like this.

Luxury hotel with decent outdoor pool and lift to beach.

It's a bit pointless really - if you're the sort of person who wants to stay in a parador, you probably don't want to be on the Costa del Sol. On an overdeveloped hillside above a tacky promenade, a good ten minutes walk to the more attractive city centre around the Balcony de Europa. It was raining when we were there (unusually), which meant that people were smoking everywhere in the patio and under the verandas with no apparent restrictions. WiFi bandwidth very poor, and parking in the large carpark unnecessarily expensive.

This hotel had many elderly folks and some were handicaped. I recommend this hotel for all, the weather was awful, but the staff made all comfortable and if you need any assistance, handicap of any type the hotel works well. The Pool is huge and beach easy access. The restaurant was exceptional, best food that we had in Spain and if raining go to the Euro-spa that they recommend, great for relaxaiton.

We had a very relaxing, quiet time in beautiful setting and location. It was very convenient for the town of Nerja. The pool was never crowded and there were plenty of sunbeds and shade. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the other food we ordered at the Parador was of a high standard.

Maybe the lift could be operational later in the evening for those of us visiting restaurants on the beach, as the slof up the hill is very steep.
