A welcomed peaceful break from the cities on our tour! The Parador was located in a wonderful little town, with an incredible sense of community. The staff we're helpful, very service oriented. We would go back again!

Very nice place, with great staff, though the restaurant was not open because of a strike. But the location on a hilltop, was wonderful, and my room had a great view of the area. Very nice place to hang out, though I was more busy than that, doing the sightseeing.

Wonderful location and convenient to the walking tour of Oropesa. Very nice views. A lot of history associated with the Parador itself and placards on the walls described the historical significance of the different areas of the Parador.

Beds were a little hard. Staff wasn't particularly friendly; bartender seemed to have a chip on his shoulder. Can't say how much of that attitude is caused by Spain's financial woes vs. the need to provide an expected level of service with fewer people but tourist dollars can provide an economic boost to an area.....

Fabulous building with interesting history. Huge room size, beautiful rooms to relax - amazing view across to the mountains and lovely places to sit and eat.

The hotel facilites are primarily only on the 1st floor, which limits the guests as to where to relax, other than by the pool which has no catering facilites. The village is very small and has few sights to visit. The air conditioning in the room was not functioning correctly.

Beautiful, well-maintained former palace. Large very comfortable public spaces in which to relax. Our room was large, quiet and pleasant. Helpful staff. Adequate parking in interior courtyard. Five minutes stroll from the central square of Oropesa where there are cafes, winebars, etc. We didn't use the restaurant of the Parador so I can't comment on that. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Beautiful old hotel and grounds. Accommodating staff, very nice room, view, and amenities. Excellent, though pricey restaurant on site, with great view. Adjacent castle next door worth meandering around. Good parking---free.

The location in the centre of town - but it is difficult to find when coming with the car. Breakfast is very good. The building is very nice, ancient and properly restaured.

The fee required for connecting to internet is absurd. A four star hotel should give this by default. Nowadays it is like hot water. It is included in the price.

It was a stunning setting, had a real historical feel to it and parking was free.

It was a great pity the swimming pool was not open.

Geschikte halte alvorens terugvlucht uit Madrid een dag later. Zeer rustig. Restaurant met prachtig uitzicht en prima keuken, vriendelijk personeel.

In Oropesa zelf is weinig te beleven.

Las vistas a la sierra de Gredos mientras se desayuna. El desayuno muy bien, mucha variedad y el servicio muy bueno

Es un lugar muy acogedor y tranquilo, merece la pena para descansar.

Pedí una cama doble y nos dieron una habitación con dos camas.

El trato del personal es maravilloso, el buffet del desayuno variado y muy buena calidad, el enclave es de cuento, si te quieres sentir una princesa levantándote en un castillo hay que visitar este parador.
