Overlooking Ronda’s spectacular Tajo Gorge, the renovated Catalonia Reina Victoria Wellness & Spa offers an outdoor pool, a spa, extensive gardens and a restaurant with panoramic views.
Score from 1323 reviews Excellent
This rural hotel with a 124 acre oak forest, just outside Ronda. It offers charming interiors with wired internet and has its own horse ranch and swimming pool.
Score from 272 reviews Very good
The hotel is in the center of Ronda, with panoramic views of El Tajo gorge and just around the corner from the Plaza de Toros famed as the birthplace of bullfighting.

Location Good size rooms
Old fashioned hotel Ugly modern entrance nothing to do with Ronda
fantastic night view wonderful view in the morning
need more vegetables at breakfast
Excellent location with fabulous views. Spacious rooms with sitting area and balcony. Very good breakfast.
Cleaning generally good but some mould on the bathroom ceiling and shower walls needed attention.
The staff were very helpful and attentive. They were happy to show us a choice of rooms so that we could select the one we liked best. Our corner room had a small terrace with a stunning view of the serrania and another window to the side overlooking the town. Breakfast was probably the best we've ever had in any hotel anywhere. An amazing selection of hot and cold, fresh food, superbly presented.
Not much! The hotel could do with some new carpets in the corridors and the bedroom furniture & fittings just looked a little dated by modern standards. More sunbeds around the pool wouldn't go amiss either! We had to sit on towels and grabbed a couple of loungers as soon as they were available.
location was excellent, very relaxing and i would recommend this hotel to all types of traveller.
nothing not to like
Breathtaking views, patio,drink and heaven!!!!
Construction directly outside room
Loved this modern, smart, huge Parador. Sits atop of the gorge and next to the bridge. Perfect location and well situated to explore Ronda on foot. Had booked Superior Twin room with gorge views. I had presumed this mean't a view of the actual rock faced gorge, but our room # 213 (on the rear side of hotel) looked out over the vast rural scenic landscape to the hills/ mountains just breathtakingly beautiful. The room was large, included sofa, 2 comfy chairs, coffee table, sheltered terrace with table & chairs. No tea making facilities. Lrg. bathroom, all amenities. Buffet breakfast - excellent - huge variety of hot & cold .. NOT the usual cold meat, cheese that most hotels provide. I highly recommend Parador de Ronda and would definitely stay again. Footnote: The bridge is only lit up at night during Summer. ! Restaurant: Casa Ortega in Pza Socorro. - (very smart European fit out ) - not touristy.
Having to Leaving !!
Excellent hotel with excellent restaurant
Our room had a balcony overlooking the beautiful gorge and the 'Ponte Nuevo'. Outside, during the day, a Spanish guitarist played brilliantly for hours for tourists. The hotel restaurant served utterly delicious local-style food. It was a highly memorable couple of days.
The location - stunning
The swimming pool
Great views. Good breakfast. Big room. Staff were fantastic!
I expected a better bed considering the cost of the room.
The main selling point of this hotel is the location. Everything is close by.
The furniture is a bit dated and the rooms could do with a renovation. The price is a bit on the high side, but I guess it is the location that you pay
Magical setting overlooking the "new bridge" with a lovely terrace to soak in the scene. A spacious room overlooking the swimming pool and the gorge. The location could not be better. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Wifi was a bit hit and miss. No snack facilities available on the terrace until the evening- you had to go downstairs to the restaurant level and eat inside -such a shame with that amazing vista. The garage entrance is a bit squeeze for bigger cars!! Probably could have done with a few more sunloungers by the pool. But all of these are minor issues-we would happily return here.
Room service and all staff being so helpful, could arrive only at midnight and still we got our ordered meal in the room like we had never before. It's just wonderful. The swimming pool on the edge of the moutain makes you feel you are in heaven, so quite, so nice, so peaceful
The access to the swimming pool
On site parking an asset. Good sized room with balcony and super view.
Restaurant has no outside dining
The town is very nice and worth to stay over one night if you can't get here early and be able to stay till late evening to see the atmosphere. Free public parking can be found in the main road, before crossing the bridge in the main part of the old town, just 5min away in front of the block of flats, after the park area. Worth to visit the hidden mine with the 200steps to take you down to the bottom of the gorge river....
Pedro was asked to check us in, and he was rushing to get rid of us without giving any information about breakfast timing, pool opening hours, or to write on the key card any information regarding these. We saw the other receptionist was providing these information to the other family checking in at the same time. When I asked for a map I was given a very basic one balck and white, again not same as the other receptionist had given to other customer. I had to specific ask for a map like the other for him to provide it. When we went to the room we were given a room on the smoking floor area, which was contrary to our request as we have a toddler. This hotel was three times more expensive than any other hotel we stayed in our 2weeks trip through south of Spain. It was the only hotel where the room was not yet prepared with the baby cot in it when we checked in and the staff didn't read our note fir the room type request, even if we have booked it 4months in advance! I would have expect a better service for a 4*hotel. I specially booked this hotel for the views if the gorge and pool, but we were given a room at the back of the hotel where loud music was on up to over midnight from next door cafe. The pool is pretty small, was dirty with leaves and dirt markings on the paint on the edges, too deep at one end and sloping badly and sleepery. You cannot see the gorge from the pool area but people walking around the side path overlooking at the gorge. Only if you are given a room with pool view and on the higher floors may be possible to enjoy the gorge views. We have used the pool with very cold waters only for 15min and the pool area only for half hour as it is covered with trees andake it overshadow and cold. Which made this place the worst choice and the most expensive of our trip. Never to return here or to promote this hotel to other friends. It is better to stay in the cheaper hotel and just watch the gorge from the panoramic path-route around it.
Plenty of space in the underground car park (18€ per day) and we arrived early but the room was ready. Wow, superior bedroom with direct unhindered views of the El Tajo gorge, absolutely stunning! Large room with soft bed, sofa, 2 armchairs and a balcony. Free wifi all over the hotel and good signal. Bathroom had double sink and bath, lovely shower! Buffet breakfast had such variety (hot and cold) and the best buffet breakfast we've had in Spain (been living here 7 years). The staff are very efficient which made the stay feel really smooth and comforting.
Nothing, wish we could've stayed longer!
I need to use computer for plane boarding pass. They allowed to use their computer to me. It is really important to me. They helped me so much.
Some male steps were little strict and scared.
Amazing views, historical town
Internal Soundproofing needs upgrading
Great location, quiet, balcony was fabulous
Parking not included, even from Hotel. Price € 18 definitly to high!
Great view in Ronda and it's just beside the bridge and becomes one of the sightseeing. Food here is good and donuts are very worth trying!
The bathroom smells
Streets are so pretty, shops good and good value. Hotel is serene, position is amazing, food in restaurant was delightful, rooms very comfortable and the view is unique! Lovely place for weekend away. Very romantic, if that's what you like.
Car park charge.
Great location with historic atmosphere. Easy to locate and park hire car. Enjoyed drinks on the terrace.
It would have been nice to have breakfast by the pool
Location and view and the resturant meal
Not a very comfortable bed and an old squicking wooden Floors make it disturbing at night
