Overlooking Ronda’s spectacular Tajo Gorge, the renovated Catalonia Reina Victoria Wellness & Spa offers an outdoor pool, a spa, extensive gardens and a restaurant with panoramic views.
Score from 1269 reviews Excellent
Right on the edge of Ronda’s famous gorge, this 17th-century palace offers fantastic views of the Guadalevín River. It has an outdoor pool, Turkish bath and rooms with free Wi-Fi.
Score from 424 reviews Excellent
Hotel Polo is one of the most traditional family-run establishments in the very centre of Ronda.
Score from 690 reviews Very good
The hotel is in the center of Ronda, with panoramic views of El Tajo gorge and just around the corner from the Plaza de Toros famed as the birthplace of bullfighting.
Score from 387 reviews Very good
Magical setting overlooking the "new bridge" with a lovely terrace to soak in the scene. A spacious room overlooking the swimming pool and the gorge. The location could not be better. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Wifi was a bit hit and miss. No snack facilities available on the terrace until the evening- you had to go downstairs to the restaurant level and eat inside -such a shame with that amazing vista. The garage entrance is a bit squeeze for bigger cars!! Probably could have done with a few more sunloungers by the pool. But all of these are minor issues-we would happily return here.
Room service and all staff being so helpful, could arrive only at midnight and still we got our ordered meal in the room like we had never before. It's just wonderful. The swimming pool on the edge of the moutain makes you feel you are in heaven, so quite, so nice, so peaceful
The access to the swimming pool
On site parking an asset. Good sized room with balcony and super view.
Restaurant has no outside dining
Amazing views, historical town
Internal Soundproofing needs upgrading
Great location, quiet, balcony was fabulous
Streets are so pretty, shops good and good value. Hotel is serene, position is amazing, food in restaurant was delightful, rooms very comfortable and the view is unique! Lovely place for weekend away. Very romantic, if that's what you like.
Car park charge.
Great location with historic atmosphere. Easy to locate and park hire car. Enjoyed drinks on the terrace.
It would have been nice to have breakfast by the pool
Location and view and the resturant meal
Not a very comfortable bed and an old squicking wooden Floors make it disturbing at night
Location and views...
Fantastic location. Interesting building. Good room with lovely view. Truly AMAZING breakfast (but don't expect a relaxed leisurely experience). Very handy car park.
Busy atmosphere - More 'chain' vibe than expected - international & very family orientated. Quite late dinner which we were expecting to be relaxed & sophisticated was completely ruined by an extremely noisy baby at adjacent table which was somewhat encouraged & cajoled by waiters. Pool looked a bit murky.
We had a great stay at the Parador which is a great hotel in a fabulous location. Its not a budget option, but great value for money considering the quality of the accommodation. Our superior twin room had a fabulous view of the mountains and is highly recommended. The terrace bar is a must to sit and enjoy a drink or a coffee and the breakfast was terrific with a wide choice of hot and cold foods.
Some of the decor just a little tired, in need of refresh. Also didn't like the guy behind me at reception who was incredibly rude to the receptionist for no reason. You can imagine hime being the sort of guy to write a negative review.
The drinks terrace, the views, the location, the balcony off my room, ease of access to town
The lifts !... so slow. Having to pay extra to park.
The views were fabulous, and the location was perfect for finding restaurants and shops.
The rooms are not well maintained, and were noisy. The buffet was passable. On our last day, housecleaning must have knocked on our door five or six times notwithstanding the sign on the door. The final time, the housekeeper knocked and let herself in! When she saw me, she retreated without an apology. We came from the Parador de Granada which was incredible beyond belief, while this was more like a Motel Six.
We have the balcony facing the bridge!
The position was excellent for exploring the old town. Very close to the Bull Ring and other points of interest. It was lovely to walk through the Streets and explore.
The Hotel didn't give good suggestions for restaurants. Travellers want wonderful flavours, not just the tourist places that although can be placed well in areas for tourists also can be very ordinary food.
The room with amazing view.
Central location, magnificent views, very relaxing stay, and a very good breakfast.
Great location and views, central to areas of interest Large, airy room Comfortable bed Good facilities Outdoor swimming-pool with towels provided Mini-bar plus ice machine in corridor
Reception staff friendly but took their time Room smelt of cigarette smoke - we didn't realise people still smoked in hotel rooms or would have requested non-smoking No remote control for TV
The location is brilliant, amazing view. Good food.
The staff is lazy, very unwilling to help. Answering the telephone seems more important than helping guests at the desk. I got ill, we asked for a late check out and were told to pay 80% extra of the room price for three hours longer stay whilst there were many rooms free..
View amazing from the room, from outside, from the pool. Loved it!
Didn't like we had to leave. Plan for more than 1 night.
The location and staff are excellent.
Location Pool Public areas clean and air conditioned. Breakfast was excellent
Infestation of tiny insects around sink in bathroom. Jacuzzi jets not cleaned out, black dirty smell water came out when switched on. Light next to bed dangerous ( hanging off wall) Parking very expensive.
Location, location, location! Amazing. Treated ourselves to something special in Ronda (which is special in itself) and it lived up to expectations. Had to keep pinching ourselves.
Having to leave
Perched in the most spectacular part of Ronda with a lovely pool and very good breakfast provided.
