Perfect location with the ability to walk through both the new and old parts of town. Also able to walk down to the bottom of the valley which is beautiful in the early morning. There is a huge variety of options on the buffet for breakfast but good idea to reserve a table if you are wanting a view (they were all reserved when we arrived for breakfast). Rooms are very clean and quiet. Staff are helpful. Not a lot to see in town so one day is probably enough for sightseeing but if you are just wanting to relax for a couple of days this would be the place to do it. Would recommend this hotel for your stay!
We made an error when booking and reserved the wrong day. The staff were able to assist on our arrival and change the booking but added an addition 45 euro for our stay. We understand that this was our mistake but the rooms were advertised online at the same price as our booking and they were simply taking the opportunity to charge us for our error. We were however very pleased that they agreed to cancel the original booking (without charge) but it was a very expensive night.
everything was just right !
Location stunning. We had little patio on main floor. Large airy rooms. Excellent breakfast with lovely views.
The fellow on desk a little surly.
Very good restaurants and quaint narrow streets.
Pillows were uncomfortable.
Location and breakfast very good. Lovely views from rooms
Cup of tea in the lounge was dreadful. Even requested extra tea bags which made no difference at all.
Very narrow entrance to underground garage.
We had the top floor with valley view (we paid extra to upgrade) and that was the room with an incredibly beautiful panoramic view! The room had two balconies overlooking the puente nuevo and the great valley. Very spacious and very clean room. Comfortable enormous bed and large sofa in the room. Breakfast was great with large selection of foods. On site parking was very helpful although it was a bit pricy. Staff was all friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, especially a room with a valley view.
The joy of the mountain view from the balcony, and the stylish comfort of the hotel, wonderfully converted from a municipal building. This is a heavenly hotel in a wonderful location. The fresh fruit for breakfast was gorgeous, and the dinner menu looked good, though we didn't try it. It is expensive, but very classy.
A loud speaker commentary on the abseiling event in the gorge - not the fault of the hotel. No kettle.( But then there never is a kettle in a Spanish hotel!)
Fantastic views from the balcony of our room. Beautiful furniture and fittings. Clean functional bathroom. Helpful staff. Good quality breakfast.
Perhaps a bit expensive, but it was without a fault!!
Location of hotel is unbeatable. Ask for a room with view over gorge. We did and could sit on balcony with a drink with a world class view
Be better to have wifi details in documentation within room
Views perfect location
Beautiful extraordinary views from our room. The room was huge but Spartan and the bed was very uncomfortable. The furniture was dated as well.
Great location!!! Good breakfast View Bathroom
Very special and wonderful location on top of an amazing gorge. Spacious room with lovely views from the gigantic terrace. Nice breakfast.
The room facilities are much outdated. Worn out furnitures. Screeching wooden floor. Much too expencive charge for the room and for Lunch. The qulity of the food in lunch was poor. Fish wasn't done enough and the waiter ignored our remark on that. In addition to all, later we found out that for a small bread-roll we were served at the beginning of the meal, they charged 1.8 euro!!! Apart from the view, it was a very upseting experience.
+ Great location at the New Bridge + Modern room with spacious bathroom (wonderful shower!) + Spacious lounge and terrace to enjoy the view
- Our apparently non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes - Dinner at the Parador was only so-so - Pool is very small and was dirty; no real outside space.
The location, rooms with great views, the choice at breakfast, helpful staff at reception
the fact that the pool was closed although it was over 25 °C and the end of the high season was end of October. We felt it was lazy. The staff serving at breakfast wasn't very helpful.
Quality of food Maintenance of room Noisy at night
didn't have to be this parador to enjoy the location view, there were plenty more.
Location Good size rooms
Old fashioned hotel Ugly modern entrance nothing to do with Ronda
fantastic night view wonderful view in the morning
need more vegetables at breakfast
Excellent location with fabulous views. Spacious rooms with sitting area and balcony. Very good breakfast.
Cleaning generally good but some mould on the bathroom ceiling and shower walls needed attention.
The staff were very helpful and attentive. They were happy to show us a choice of rooms so that we could select the one we liked best. Our corner room had a small terrace with a stunning view of the serrania and another window to the side overlooking the town. Breakfast was probably the best we've ever had in any hotel anywhere. An amazing selection of hot and cold, fresh food, superbly presented.
Not much! The hotel could do with some new carpets in the corridors and the bedroom furniture & fittings just looked a little dated by modern standards. More sunbeds around the pool wouldn't go amiss either! We had to sit on towels and grabbed a couple of loungers as soon as they were available.
location was excellent, very relaxing and i would recommend this hotel to all types of traveller.
nothing not to like
Breathtaking views, patio,drink and heaven!!!!
Construction directly outside room
Loved this modern, smart, huge Parador. Sits atop of the gorge and next to the bridge. Perfect location and well situated to explore Ronda on foot. Had booked Superior Twin room with gorge views. I had presumed this mean't a view of the actual rock faced gorge, but our room # 213 (on the rear side of hotel) looked out over the vast rural scenic landscape to the hills/ mountains just breathtakingly beautiful. The room was large, included sofa, 2 comfy chairs, coffee table, sheltered terrace with table & chairs. No tea making facilities. Lrg. bathroom, all amenities. Buffet breakfast - excellent - huge variety of hot & cold .. NOT the usual cold meat, cheese that most hotels provide. I highly recommend Parador de Ronda and would definitely stay again. Footnote: The bridge is only lit up at night during Summer. ! Restaurant: Casa Ortega in Pza Socorro. - (very smart European fit out ) - not touristy.
