Parador de Santillana del Mar  

Restaurant was understaffed. Food was not delivered in a timely manner, order was confused, we couldn't get cuenta to leave

I stayed at the Parador Gil Bas. The Parador de Santillana del mar was closed but our booking was transferred to Gil Bas. Gil Bas was an excellent place to stay. A very old Town Mansion full of interesting features, including suites of armour. The staff were helpful and friendly, the town of Santillana was very picturesque.

The only difficulties were the lack of signing from the main road to indicate the whereabouts of the Parador and because of the transfer the parking was 200yds away which in the pouring rain can be a problem. Out of season few if any of the town restaurants/cafes were open

A superb location in a beautiful village. The hotel has typically Spanish decor with large rooms, polished wood floors and elegant furniture and furnishings. It is grand but homely. Ideal for an overnight stay before catching the ferry home from Santander. Excellent breakfast.

Fabulous hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff. Generous and comfortable bedroom and bathroom with great views. Ample parking and a garage. Splendid breakfast. Fantastic location in centre of old town od Santillana del Mar.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind sauber.

Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis müsste verbessert werden. Die Zimmer sind etwas düster, was für einen längeren Aufenthalt unangenehm ist.

La comida en especial el desayuno. Te obligan.a tomar bufete, ya que no hay otra alternativa

O quarto precisa de uma reforma. As instalacoes estso um pouco velhas

Très bien situé dans une petite ville médiévale avec beaucoup de charme.

Attention, il y a 2 paradors dans la même ville, un trois étoiles et un quatre. Le trois étoiles est un peu vieillot, chambres mal insonorisées.

Leider ist das Mobiliar nicht mehr das Beste und es müsste eine Generalüberholung stattfinden. Das fängt bei der Reception an und hört im Zimmer auf. Die Schranktüren konnte man garnicht mehr schliessen, die gingen immer wieder auf. Der Fußboden war knarrend, die Bäder rochen abgestanden. Das einzige was sehr gut war waren die Kopfkissen und Matratzen. Das Frühstück war afür sehr gut.

beaucoup des bruit tard dans la nuit de certains occupants d'autres chambres. La trop grande proximité des voisins du parador. Le regret qu'en Espagne ds les paradors on ne parle QUE l'espagnol.

No encuentro nada

L'emplacement dans le centre de la ville. La possibilité de garer la voiture devant le parador.

La sonorité des chambres. L'absence de climatisation.

très bruyant par manque d'information par rapport à la chambre, nous nous sommes retrouvé dans la partie 3 étoiles au lieu de 4, comme nous l'aurions souhaité par conséquent nous n'avions pas le même confort

Su ubicacion y su diseño espectacular, sobre todo la habitacion.

La relacion precio/calidad de los desayunos resulto regular, no habia huevos fritos y revueltos, pobre seleccion de fiambre.

le lieu de situation et le charme des batiments

ascenseur hors service et pas d'aide pour monter les bagages et les chambres sont très sonores (nous étions logés dans la partie la plus récente de 'établissement)

Tranquilidad, y el personal muy amable y educado

Viejo y muy mal cuidado. Instalaciones muy deteriodadas, baños etc, se nota que no reparan lo que se estropea.

Habitacion y baño muy deteriorado, el tfno ducha no funcionaba , la pera de la ducha era un caño (una tuberia) ,la caja fuerte no funcionaba... la llave para entrar en la habitacion , pesada y vieja.... me extraño en un parador ...los hay mucho mejores y encima carisimo!!!!

Hoewel in de basis gelegen een prachtig dorpje, teveel gevuld met souvenirswinkeltjes die veel van hetzelfde verkopen. Daarnaast komen de gebouwen niet tot leven, misschien door het ontbreken van uitleg of dat je tot weinig gebouwen toegang hebt. Hotel ligt midden in het dorp, weg er naar toe is niet goed aangegeven. Parador niet heel speciaal.

met deze typische parador service kan je spanje rondreizen in 94 paradors verdeeld over gans het land. Een aanrader, voor wie de drukte wil vermijden. Maak je een "amigo" en je bekomt allerlei voordelen.

La comodidad.

Que no esté incluido el desayuno en el precio de la habitación. Si lo fuera, sí que mejoraría mucho la relación calidad/precio.
