We loved the peaceful lounge areas designed only for the guests. This was relaxing and calming. Especially the terraces. The charges for the bar were quite high. The bed was too hard.

The beauty and charm of its historic grounds, garden, yards, pool. Bedroom looks so much better than in pictures. Bed is soft comfy, a/c is cooling in the scorching summer. Bathroom is perfect for honeymoon couples with its double sink. Toiletteries amenities are plentiful. Breakfast selection is like a feast. My only wish is for more hot food available. Location is too off town. There is only 5 bars/ eateries around the hotel. Hotel own restaurant serves excellent quality meal at a great value, though.

Het hotel is in een oud kasteel. Dat heeft an sich veel sfeer. Binnenplaats is aangenaam om te vertoeven. De omgeving is mooi en leent zich uitstekend voor uitstapjes. Jammer is dat het zwembad enkel zomers is opengesteld, dat er geen spa voorzieningen in het hotel zelf zijn, dat de bar lijkt op een kantine verlicht met tl-buizen, het ontbijtbuffet te dicht op de tafels staat, het personeel afstandelijk en onpersoonlijk overkomt. Daarnaast is er in Jarandilla niets te doen of te beleven.

El desayuno, la cena (menú especial de San José), el comedor, el edificio, el baño, la tranquilidad, silencio y plena oscuridad nocturna de la habitación. Habitación grande. El personal del restaurante (poco amables, no nos trajeron con el menú la oferta de menú de San José, menos mal que lo habíamos visto anunciado), los muebles de la habitación (muy feos y anticuados, de estilo castellano anños 60), hasta las colchas son feas. Necesita una reforma integral urgente ( y el personal un cursillo rápido de atención al cliente), sobretodo porque de precio cuesta lo mismo que otros paradores muy buenos y modernos como el de San Estevo.

Coincidimos con la ruta de Carlos v y el parador es el punto de partida. Hay menú cerrado en el restaurante del parador cuya relación calidad/precio es muy buena. La calefacción de la habitación muy ruidosa cuando salía el aire caliente.

Al llegar a la habitación, estaba 11 grados de temperatura, tuvimos que marcharnos y volver más tarde.. Suelo ""muy viejo y en algunas partes, con agujeros". ≪ Con diferencia el peor Parador que hemos visitado. En la zona hemos visto hoteles, que por mucho menos precio tienen mejores instalaciones-
