Score from 721 reviews Very good
Located in the beautiful, historic quarter of Úbeda, this modern hotel is equipped with state of the art facilities. El Postigo hotel is the ideal base for exploring this stunning old Andalusian town....
Score from 316 reviews Excellent
The charming Hotel Puerta de la Luna is in a beautiful 17th-century mansion in Baeza's historic quarter. It features an outdoor swimming pool, landscaped areas and a popular restaurant.
Score from 397 reviews Very good
Originally a 16th century convent for The Nuns of the Carmelitas order, this hotel rests in the historic quarter of Baeza, a dreamlike place where time seems to stand still.
Score from 448 reviews Very good
Historic building, cleanliness of room, excellent bathroom, quiet location
Front desk disinterested and offhand. They agreed to post 10 postcards (sent on 9 December) and thus far (7 Jan) not one has arrived in the UK. The lady in the bar downstairs was very friendly and obliging, as was the lady at breakfast.
Splendid Renaissance Architecture Situated in the middle of the ancient town
Parking facilities far away
The restaurant had modern decor and the food was disappointingly bland
We had to wait past the check-in time for our room. We stayed in the addition, not the actual parador (maybe we would have had to pay more for that).
very good place.
Great location in the heart of the world heritage site. A great location for a wedding as witnessed by two such weddings during our stay. Very friendly staff and a good restaurant.
The bedroom whilst spacious was a little tired and in need of updating/ refurbishment.
Room lovely and location excellent
Staff were not freindly and actually abrupt at checkout. Could use tea/coffee making facilities in room or common area
Its location in Ubeda's center, the building is charming.
The price. Compared to other hotels we went to, this parador is way too expensive for the service provided and the room we got. Our room was very dark even when the curtains were open. Also we felt like a four stars hotel should provide services like a terrace or a pool.
The wonderful location
Breakfast was a bit expensive
- The charm of the place. - That parking was nearby - and free. - Clean, comfortable, spacious room. - Comfy beds. - Huge staircases. etc. etc.
- That our GPS took us through the winding roads of the old city, didn't know about construction, and down a street in which we had only an inch on each side to spare - if that! There is a ring road on which it is very easy to get to the parking area. Wish we had known. That all restaurants close between 4 pm and about 7:30 - 8 pm. Need to plan ahead if you're not on the Spanish schedule yet.
Palace, location, staff, food
Nothing...there is no parking, but is normal in main square of historical unesco center
Location is perfect for Ubeda. Great ambience throughout the hotel. Rooms are decent, with a fabulous bathroom. Staff formal but helpful. Easy to find if arriving by car.
Room 137 is not good. Right next to a loud external machine. Wi-Fi is a bit variable.
One of a number of magnificent buildings in a plaza still retaining the historic aura. All staff members were pleasant and extremely helpful.
On this, my third visit to this parador, I was disappointed by the dustiness of the inner courtyard and it's furnishings.
Fantastic location - lovely town - excellent food and drink
The location and facilities were good.
very poor signposting to find the posada( only one on the outskirts of Ubeda which we missed. Parking not possible at hotel so we had to drag our luggage through the street. Staff failed to offer to move our baggage to our room so we had to do so ourselves. The reception staff spent more time gossiping among themselves than offering information. In the dining room, though the food was good, the waitress was rushing us by taking plates away before the we had finished, giving the impression she was eager to go home, and was then rude when we asked her not to rush us. generally the staff seemed complacent.
Beautiful hotel and lovely spacious room.
Wifi was poor.
- place within Ubeda - great palace-setting - good breakfast in geat restaurant
- rather hard to drive to the hotel - limited public parking in the area
Looked a bit tired and not easy to find!
The check-out staff was very pleasant, even left area behind desk to offer to carry my suitcase down the stairs to the plaza. The setting/facility was beautiful and very clean All restaurant staff were very attentive and well-trained.
Afternoon, check-in staff was not helpful. More signs should be posted in the town. We had a very challenging time finding the parador by car.
A central but a little austere and cold place. Staff not very friendly
loved, loved, loved the location and the feel of the Parador in Ubeda
Waiter disappeared with half bottle of Cava and we had to chase staff to pour the remainder. Apparently,he waiter had gone home without telling his replacement of the situation. The waiter should have left the bottle in a cooler on our table.
Location in square with many historical buildings, large room, beautifully old building.
Like in many paradors the room facilities need updating.
Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful location and impressive interior.
Car parking was not close by.
the ambiance and the location in a memorable, historic city
nothing worth commenting on - great place
