The spectacular position
Rooms are very simple, wifi very slow, many moths everywhere.
Thousands of moths in corridor and room. Too hot in the night to sleep (air conditioning didn't cool down). Water is too expensive, but you have no other choice...
The position, the staff, the live astronomic lesson between the falling stars
Fantastic location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good hotel in all aspects.
Rather expensive, but it is worth the money.
excellent meal in the restaurant; superb view from our room; stunning experience not to be missed
pool a bit small
Food was excellent with good service Location stunning
nice room good restaurant helpful staff
Some road works just outside disturbed us somewhat
Go for it, it´s absolutely worth the price: you simply cannot beat the location near Teide. Wonderful for nature-loveers who love stargazing, hiking and volcanic beauty around them. It´s one of the most amazing locations I´ve visited all around the world.
- very expensive hotel restaurant (other cca 30 minutes drive away) - pool closes quite early - poor wi-fi
Incredible setting. Fantastic view from the restaurant. Stylish interior in the joint areas. A real escape from daily Tenerife reality. 100% recommended!
Tour busses that stop in the evening at the bar next door. But you can't blame the hotel for that...
Old style hotel and breakfast
amazing location, good food, comfortable rooms
the stay can be quite pricey, as food and drinks are not cheap (0.5l water 2 euros, breakfast 16.5euros, dinner 31euros) and there is no alternative place to go to
- Fantastic location high altitude and close to the Teide
- No wifi in the rooms - Questionable services at the restaurant - Lights out of service in the room - Switch-off the lights of the lobby at 11:30Pm even when there were still guests in there - Very slow and not happy service at the restaurant
Wonderful location. Amazing views on the Teide and surroundings from the room and the restaurant; and stars at night. Good food. Very friendly staff.
Slightly overpriced but it's understandable due to its unique location.
Most beautiful location in the world. In compagny with Chris Frome, Contador , etc.
fire place and swimming pool with amazing view on Teide
The surrounding area is beyond comparison including the sky at night. If come to enjoy this, you will be happy with the hotel. The staff was very friendly, the food was ok, everything was clean and looked after.
The bread and buns for breakfast could be improved. Even the frozen stuff of the discounters is better.
Location is stunning. Rooms comfortable with views of Mt Teide
Be aware that the restaurant is very expensive for meals. There is no other choice apart from the café which serves snacks and closes at 6.00pm.
Location, free WiFi, clean rooms, interior design.
Menu in the rest-nt could be more rich, but I guess this is because of the small amount of tourists staying there.
Exclusive location of the hotel and perfect service in place isolated absolutely.
Love the location. Had gone to see the stars but Unfortunately stars not out the night we stayed
Explanation about stars totally in Spanish which is understandable, but my school girl Spanish was nt quite enough. A hand out or two may help non speakers ? Price of evening meal a little pricey . Lovely but pricey
Location is really unique! Our room was large, clean and comfortable, with an enormous king size bed. The only bad thing was about the telescope. It is free to use, but you need to pull it outside and back yourself. And it was so heavy that we did not manage to do it. I was very disappointed. But anyway the hotel is werth visiting, it is a great experience!
Excellent location.Only came for one night to see the stars and milky way.Excellent staff, room and food in the restaurant.Would come again and recommend.
