Park Hotel  

The stand-out feature of this hotel is the staff - they were all so friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The location is excellent - just off the Gothic Quarter, and opposite the Estacio de Franca railway station. (Top tip: when taking the train from the airport, get off at Passeig de Gracia and then get a regional train to Estacio de Franca - much closer to the hotel than the nearest metro station, Jaume I.) If you can, ask for room 724 - it is on the top floor, so lovely and quiet, and it has an enormous terrace for relaxing and viewing the city.

The bath was a little bit small - but if you're positive you can see it instead as a very large shower tray!

Clean spacious rooms and adequate location near the center but quite enough to enjoy.

The location is wonderful on the outskirts of Barcelona's old town and across the road from the train station (estacio de franca).

Great hotel in a fantastic location, el born is a lively but classy area of the city. Within easy walking distance of most sights. The road is quite busy but my room on the top floor was lovely, clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Location. We always stay in the El Born area. Good location for walking everywhere.

They were doing something to the floor in the breakfast room. Replacing it I think. The second night we stayed the smell everywhere in the hotel, including our room, was horrible. I quite imagine the fumes were noxious. The hotel should have been closed. When mentioning it in the morning I didn't ecen get a reply about it. We hd booked for one night but stayed for 2. Desk service is erratic. At least look up and say hello when guests go by. The bed we slept on was definitely passed its due date witha spring or something sticking in my leg.

Too expensive for what it is.

Size of the room nice, and plenty of space for luggage, lovely big bathroom plenty of nice soft towels. Room service excellent a high standard of cleanliness sheets changed regularly air conditioning very effective and silent ,staff helpful and good humoured nice atmosphere

The booking being non refundable was a bit off putting in the event of not being able to travel . To loose the full price is a bit steep

The ratio price/comfort is acceptable to short stays and the proximity of historical areas, seacoast and commercial zones very practical.

Nice hotel in the heart of Barcelona.

Booking com said the car park is on- site. This is false. The hotel does not have a car park. The car park is public 200 metres far away. There isn't a tea/cofee maker in the room.

A very comfortable base for a city break; close to Las Ramblas. The room was clean and modern, and fit for purpose.
