Set overlooking the spectacular bay of La Zurriola, this small hotel enjoys a fantastic setting right in the heart of classic San Sebastián, near the old town. The Parma is the ideal choice for guests looking to experience the best of this smart Basque resort. It looks out over one of the city’s 2 bays and beaches, as well as the seafront concert hall of Kursaal. Behind it you can stroll into the atmospheric narrow streets of the old town or climb the scenic headland to enjoy the view. Start the day with the buffet breakfast in this family-run hotel. In the evening you can relax in the sociable lounge area or make use of the internet corner. Hotel Rooms: 27

The sea view from the room. The room without windows was a little sad atomosphere. The parking is a public one with a charge of 15euros & of 5 min walk. The adices by a lady at front were not very accurate (restaurants' opening dates/time information).

We stayed for 8 days to visit our daughter who was studying abroad. The location could't have been better- the sounds of the wave breaking right outside our window and numerous wonderful restaurants nearby. Senra Tapas bar the best in the City! The staff was friendly and helpful going out of their way to be sure we had a wonderful experience. Not being a frequent traveler overseas I especially appreciated the staff's language ability- each spoke several languages. They had entertainment recommendations that were "spot on". The room we stayed in was small but comfortable and right for the price. Bathrooms modern and clean. San Sabastain Food Company 1 block away had a wonderful wine tasting - Came away with a good feel for local wines. The only complaint was throughout the city and was really more a local custom. I really missed the American bottomless coffeepot! We learned to order cafe Americana and that helped. Breakfast was expensive, but numerous shops nearby gave you the choice of eating out. Very helpful pleasant staff! A great stay and we may be back.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room looked right out onto both the river and the Sea. Great place for walking..one direction you are a few blocks from the old town district and the hotel faces a walk that takes you all around the ocean front of San Sebastian. The rooms could use some updating

The location (my room was facing the sea, and the hotel is nearby "pinxos" bars). A few minutes walk from the Krusaal conference center and the beach. Environment really calm, only a small road in the front not so busy. Perfectly clean, and really nice hotel staff. The hotel is a little pricey. The walls are too thin but I could live with it.

Good welcome from the staff. Clear directions and easy to find parking. Room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast buffet was simple but of a decent quality. Price reasonable for such a handy location for the old town.

Friendly people willing to help, nice location and outside view At least some rooms (single?) do not have normal windows, so it makes impression of living inside a box, when you can;t see what;s happening ourside.

Comfortable rooms, on the smaller side, in a very good location. It is on the edge of old town; close to restaurants and the beach. Rooms had a bit of an odor but nothing too distracting.

The location of the hotel could not be better. We had a sea breeze coming through our window with the sound of the ocean in the air. The situation right next to the old town with all the restaurants could not have been a more perfect location.

Location Location Location. The hotel is situated few minutes walk from the old town and the walkway. It also provides a private parking for 15E/day which is very important in San Sebastian. The room was clean and comfortable (especially if you want to return for an afternoon rest). The only thing is that we reserved an internal room (cheaper) that has no windows to the outside and therefore a bit smaller and safocating (although there is a great aircondition). I recommennd to pay a bit more and take the exterior room. There is a free Wi-Fi. We didnt incld breakfast. No need as there are many places to eat outside. In order to find the hotel you need a good gps or driving instructions.

All the receptionists were very friendly and helpful, speaking good English and French. Any information requested, restaurant reservation and touring advice was provided promptly and smartly. The location is best in town (at the old town) and our room had a great sea view. Rooms and the entire hotel area are very clean and although it's a 2 star hotel, services and facilities are far better than most 3 star European hotels we know. A bit thicker walls would increase the sense of privacy

Reception staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. Hotel room was fairly small and quite basic but clean. San Sebastian a fairly expensive area so although this was one of the most expensive hotels on our trip was probably to be expected. Good location not far from old town and beaches. small room

The hotel is located right beside the old town, surrounded by lots of cool bars and restaurants. Also is very close to Playa La Concha, convenient if visiting Donostia in the summer. It is very clean and the staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful with excellent English. I definitely recommend it. I can't fault the hotel on anything since it's exactly as advertised. But in our case, having visited Donostia during Easter seemed a bit expensive to pay over e150 a night for a two star hotel.

The hotel location was excellent... Conveniently located near main town square restaurants, shops and seaside. The hotel was modest, clean and fairly priced for budget guest. The hotel walls are very thin resulting in high level of noise from normal guest activities. Blow dryer was inadequate and room had strong musty smell.
