Hotel Paseo de Gracia  

I'm a regular customer of Paseo de Gracia Hotel, coming 3-4 times/yr, just reemphasizing what I said above: it's good value for money and extremely well located.

As practically everywhere in Europe, customer relations leaves somewhat to be desired. With the notable exception of the young man working early morning til mid-afternoon, one has the impression that a customer one should feel privildeged to be helped by them. Isn't it their job to help us?

The price is the best reason to stay here followed by the location. If this hotel was in London the equivalent would be knightsbridge. The hotel was surrounded by high class stores and was minutes from Las Ramblas with all the restaurants and shops. The Diagonal metro station is at the door and is safe, clean and cheap. The open topped tourist bus stops at the door. The hotel is in the same block as the Casa Mila and four blocks from Casa Batllo. The Sagrada Familia is two stops on the metro. All classic Gaudi 'must see's" This hotel provides free wi- fi which was a boon. Most of the staff spoke some English and were very helpful.

The main entrance is very poor and looks like a service entrance for the posh shops next door. The lift is tiny, 3 persons only. There are no facilities as such other than a coffee and snack vending machine in the lobby. A tea and coffee tray in the room would have been great and cheap to provide. The tv had 60 odd channels all in Spanish except bbc news late in the evening. Traffic noise could be a problem if you like to sleep with the window open. Our room on the 6th floor was fairly quiet until the last night when new guests arrived and we could hear them talking so the walls are obviously thin and not well soundproofed.

the Hotel is in the Heart of Barcelona ,,, walking distance from Sagrada , Just next to " La perdera " and " la Botolica " ,,,,, Next to " La Rita " Restaurant ... You all need to go there ,,,, nice for a walk at night ,,,,

industrial air conditioning unit outside balcony was so noisy that you couldnt leave window/patio door open for air. room air conditioning was centrally controlled so we couldnt turn it on. no bath or sink plugs

Location is the best!!!!

We could not sleep - hear all conversations from the both sides of our room, as well as all sounds from the room above us. Actually it's HOSTAL, not hotel

Perfect location, helpful staff.

Great position and a good sized room.

The lift only holds 3 people and for a hotel with 2 floors of rooms it's way too small. Plus it broke down one day! The ac is centralised, you have no control. So for 3 nights we had to use all the blankets to keep watm and when we mentioned the cold air the ac was turned off altogether.

Perfect location with the Metro station and Turisme bus downstair. It has friendly staff who guided us how to spend a night in the city and also the way to get to the airport. Wifi access is free from our room with acceptable connection speed.

The air conditioner!!! As explained by the hotel staff, the air conditioners will be automatically turned off at 11pm and could be turned on again on guests' request. We did request to the staff as intrucsted, however nothing happened and we stayed 2 nights in a hot temperature.

That was very last minute booking and I would say the worst hotel in my life. Lobby and rooms are extremely dark and under construction. No view from the windowns. All night horrible noise from conditioner. This hotel hardly deserves 1 star.

The location is fantastic! Staff is very friendly and ready to give advice. From my bathroom window I could see La Pedrera a few meters away.

It was a great surprise!!

Our room was next to some sort of motor or engine which was noisy all nught long.

Lokalizacja! Blisko do wszystkich najważniejszych atrakcji, La Rambla - 10 min. spacerkiem. Niedaleko stacja metra i przystanek pociągu z lotniska.

Brak śniadań, ale przy tej ulicy jest wybór kawiarenek i barów, gdzie można szybko i tanio coś zjeść. Hałas od ulicy.

L'hostal est très bien situé, paseo de gracia : le quartier chic en plein centre de Barcelone

En espagne, il y a les hotels, et les "hostales", d'une catégorie bien inférieure. C'est le cas de l'HostAL paseo de gracia. Dans cet établissement, l'entrée est en travaux, l'accueil au second étage, les chambres vieillottes et les salles de bain dignes d'une guest house a 30€. a eviter...

Die zentrale Lage direkt neben der U-Bahnstadion. Es sind die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar und in der Umgebung befinden sich sehr viele gute Tapas-Bars.

Das Bett war nicht das Bequemste und sie Wände sind sehr dünn, sodass man den Nachbar durchhört.

ambiente deprimente, bagno senza bidet e asciugacapelli (mancava anche il tappo del lavabo)

Hotel veramente in posizione straperfetta e proprio a 10 metri dalla fermata metro. Sfatt cordiale, camere pulite, ottimo per soluzione low cost!

Muy buena ubicación, excelente trato del personal de recepción, muy limpio y espacioso

部屋は広く、バルコニーから朝焼けに浮かぶカサミラの屋上が見えました。立地も良く、大通りに面しているの- でわかりやすいです。建物も趣きがあり素敵です。

バスルームの排水時に大きい音がするので、ビックリしました。いい香りの石鹸はありましたが、シャンプーは- 無いです。
