Old, small room and smaller bathroom, the internet connection didn't work in my room... I couldn't flush. It's ok for one night but I'm kinda dissapointed. I wouldn't recommend this hostel. Besides there was a shemale downstairs all the time

Staff don't speak English
A very nice hostel right in the heart of Gran Via. The rooms and other amenities are clean and the owner is a very welcoming person. It has a nice balcony, decent bathroom and comfortable beds. There is a little common area where you can use a microwave and make a cup of coffee. All in all, this was a perfect price to quality ratio for Madrid.
Maybe a little hard to get to sleep on weekend nights if you are sensitive to street noise - the area is alive till late at night with some action going on right under the balcony.
instant hot water, good wifi, a few steps from Metro Grand Via, in the heart of the city, communal fridge and microwave and coffee machine, and it has a good lift
no heating, no hair dryer, I was cold, no electrical plug at desk, nowhere to open suitcase, very small, red bed lamp which I couldn't read by, they did not speak any English...I used translator app no floor mat on tiles had to push the toilet hard to make it work no information was given so I had to disturb them for anything I needed (I wrote it down in Spanish) no extra blanket
Perfect location, nice owners.
Bed matrass quite old could be better.
very helpful staff, excellent location, next to the metro station and very central, with lots of shops, cafes and bars closeby.
pretty noisy neighbourhood during the night.
The hotel has a perfect locacion, it's realy in the super center. We haven't use transport, because it was possible to walk by foot to any place. It's very clian and lovely inside, I really like the design of the room. We had 2 balcons in the room, so it was possible to regulate temperature, because central heating work very well. The owners are a very nice couple, who are ready to help in any case. There is a small kitchen in the hotel, it's very useful.
The only thing, that could be better is a size of a shower cabin, which was realy small in our room (but it's not a big problem). As a lot of people go out at night, it's a little bit noisy, but it should be in any hotel in the center.
I'm a single female on a budget and this was a great find in Madrid- a great alternative to staying in a hostal. Location was walking distance to all the main areas. I only had to take the metro to/from the airport. The place is family run and they stay right on property. The owner was very helpful. He did not speak English, but we were able communicate anyway.
The side street the hotel is on is a little sketchy at night, but is thankfully only a few feet away from Via Gran so you don't have to walk down it far.
The service team was very helpful. The room is clean The location was pretty near to the center of the city
The room was pretty small. no bath, but a shabby shower The city view means actually a view of a ugly street with a lot of prostitutes walking around, but it doesnt really matter.
amazing value for money, cheap and basic, great location for Madrid centre, small and clean.
staff does not speak English, but once you get past the language barrier they are quite helpful.
