Everything was tip top. A point in my book for cleanliness (which is saying a lot for me), they has an on location cleaning lady at our service, she answered a call on a wednesday night around midnight so i could have a new clean bed cover. Amazing. The host where more that becoming, and eager to learn every english word that we spoke if they could not understand it. The cute lizard living behind a wending machine was fun to watch when having the last cigaret of the day at the beauty full garden. The location was perfect for enjoying Marbella. In the heart of the old town, you walk out the door and straight into beautiful narrow streets with flowers and trees all-around, restaurants, coffee houses and bars on every corner and the main shopping location. short and fun walk to the beach with a morning coffee house on the way with real expresso and pastry. This was our second visit to Marbella and from now on the hostel to go to.

Good value for a money. If you prefer not to spend much for staying overnight and do not need much, then this is right place. Room included bed, sink, air blower and few other essential things. It was pretty quiet place considering the number of people and location.

The hostel and shared bathroom was very clean and its in a great location

The woman behind reception was very rude. There had been a mishap so I was overcharged and she was offended by me saying so and at first said I was wrong anyway as id got such a good rate on the extra charges I should think myself lucky... I got the money back though. The first night wasn't too bad for noise. But the second night was ridiculous. Guests were so loud and rude shouting and swearing right outside the window as our room was on the ground floor looking out on the terrace, which states is closed from 10pm. I understand the hostel cant be blamed for having noisy guests... but they can when they allow it as the staff were still up and about and even stood with the noisy bunch for a bit this went on til the early hours of the morning... and then the third night the woman staff member was sat on the terrace til after midnight waffling loudly on her phone keeping me up again... not impressed with the lack of sleep.

perfectly clean; nice location in the historical center, and at the same time close to the beach (app. 7 minutes walking). grocery is nearby.

a little bit noisy at night because of the nearby bars and restaurants

I stayed at aduar after a football tournament ,my friends had gone home so I wanted to stay in for 3 nights afterwards. I would definitely recommend the Pension Aduar .. It's in a fantastic location in the old town of Marbella .. The owners(from Ukraine ) were really nice and helpful .. I dropped my bag off early on arrival and left in late as I departed .. The room was small but fine .. There are shared bathrooms/toilets .. But they were clean and I never had to wait .The cost was 25 euros per night .. So really affordable too .. And it's a ten minute walk to the main beach in Marbella.. Would I stay again .. Definitely .. It's a good place if your on a budget ..

I have no negatives about the place ... Obviously it's basic but what do you want for 25 euros per night ?

Great downtown location just minutes from the beach with plenty of restaurants and stores around. Conveniences include free wifi, a drinks dispenser, fridge and microwave in a common area with tables and chairs nicely set in a shady spanish-style patio.

At that price, I am afraid the manager will raise the room rates shortly.

    Location, nice cat.

Staff give the impression that they do not care if you make a return visit or not. Unfriendly and uncaring. Worst reception I have ever had. When I arrived to check in a man walked out of a corridor and starred at me, I said Hello, do you work here? He replied 'Yes' ( He was either the owner or the manager) And walked off to the reception!

At least the lady running the pension was quite good and she did her best to help me out but I think the others should also learn some English to be helpful.

I did not like the fact that staff of the pension did not interfere when drunken people made noise during the night. When I tried to warn those people, they swore to me and I could not sleep at all. The staff should have taken some responsibility to ensure the comfort of all its customers. Second of all, half of the staff does not speak English so it is very difficult to tell them what you want to do. Third of all, there was no iron table, it took me two hours to iron a shirt on my bed. Iron board is very cheap equipment and they basically could have had it. When I told this to the young man in the reception he gave me a very unpleasant look and made me feel so strange as if I said something quite bad. Last but not least, the blankets are not clean. They could have simply put a simple carpet so people can feel at home at least when they are in their room. There is no coffee/tea service in the hostel and this is not really good. They are hostels in Malaga for example whose kitchen can be used by the customers so that people can prepare their own breakfast. Unfortunately, there is no such an opportunity in Pension Aduar. This hostel is good, if you are not looking for comfort and can be content with less staff but if you are looking for some quality please do not choose it. In general it is a place for adolescences not for grown up people. Young people make lots of noises and none tells them anything. I am regretful that I have not choosen somewhere for higher price but more comfortable.

The pension is very well located in the historical center. Free wifi is excellent. The place has a very nice courtyard. Other than that it is simple but clean.
