Pensión Don Claudio  

The pension was clean, cheap, with good internet connection and free parking on the street.

Looks much nicer on the inside than the outside!

Rooms stunk of smoke. It was almost unbearable. Otherwise fine.....

no heating, lift not working, lighting poor.

Well, when you're arriving at the hotel, place where one's located seems really god-forsaken hole! But don’t follow your first impression. Just few steps behind a corner – you’ll find all what you need: cafes, some shops, bilbobus stop and the most exciting river bank, where you can spend your evening time. Culture center of Bilbao is in 30 mins by your feet. Next, about the hotel. Very convenient room with toilet and shower. Cold and hot water with normal pressure, body and hair shampoo availability increases Don Claudio’s karma. Furniture is rather simple, but bed is clear. Walls and ceiling have damages and scratches – but it doesn’t matter if you’re not going to spend all your time in the room. You can catch WiFi – it’s for free. As an information for tourists, such as map of Bilbao and very useful tourist guide. Personnel is very polite and always try to help you. English? In Spain? I suppose it doesn’t matter – you can always find a common language because of Spanish people cordiality. Keep in mind - there is no private parking, but you can find place for your vehicle either on stadium’s parking, or on the street where the hotel’s located. Especially in evenings there are a few places (at least in September). So, if your goal is to discover this fantastic city and not to spend big money – Pension DC is strongly recommended for you.

Excellent friendly staff . Its not the ritz but its beside the metro and for what you pay its fantastic.

Way out of tthe city centre nearly in barakaldo

Location and the price. You can easily park your car around the bulding, for free

The room and bathroom were clean. I was able to park for free across the street.

The room was very small. The window faced into an internal shaft. It was strange arriving late at night.

We took a room with a bath room. So! It was not so bad. Very good conditions for this price. There was no any problem to find a place on the public parking infront of the hotel. The lady from the reception really tried to help us, even we didn't understand a word in Spanish. We really were satisfied.

A little bit noisy at night, but I think it's just because of week-end. Far from the city center (no way to walk around a hotel - there is a poor area with gangs in 300 meters). But having a car there is no problem at all.

Location close to motorway with free parking nearby and train into Bilbao. Excellent value for money. Check out 11:30.

For the price it was just what we wanted.

The room & bathroom were quite newly decorated. The bathroom was nice and had a great shower (it was big enough for 2 people at the same time!)

The area is not the best as it is a little way out from the centre but it is very quick to get to the centre by train (around 8-10 minutes).

We've stayed only for one night and we don't know much about this hotel. But we arrived at 2 A.M. because our flight was late and without any problem we could enter in the hotel and spent night in beds.

I don't think that location is comfortable for Bilbao sightseeing.

Well conected to the city. The train stop was at 200 meters from the hostel, trains passed every 15 minutes, the trip to the center only 10 minutes. There is also a bus station and a supermarket near the hostel. In general it is a good place to stay.

It would have been nice to have access to a refregerator.

It was located near the train stop and the price was good. We stayed one might and were only in the room to sleep. We had our own bathroom as requested, but be aware this is a hostel. Beds were very hard, but apart from that room was clean and it was budget friendly.

We got very good and friendly info on getting around like how to use local transport to get to Bilbao center and where to get a good value breakfast. Also citymap was provided. Room was very clean and beds were good. Staf was very helpfull and friendly. No cons for us!

The hotel staff couldn't speak English. The facilites are not good and I could hear noises of the corridor or the nextdoor in the midnight.

Da relação qualidade preço, o hotel apesar de não ser no centro da cidade, encontra-se bastante perto da estação de comboio, chegando fácilmente em 10 min ao centro.

O aspecto exterior do hotel e da zona não é muito aprazivel, mas o interior vale a pena. Um dos quartos cheirava a tabaco e tinha uma cama pouco confortável.

les cloisons entre chambres paraissent fine car les bruits venant des chambres voisines et du couloir sont très génant la nuit. C'est comme le camping, il vaut mieux avoir le sommeil lourd et s'endormir en premier.

Het moderne interieur,alles pas nieuw en keurig!pasjessysteem werkte prima! Voor de prijs echt prima en boven verwachting! Ook Bilbao is een prachtige stad met de mooiste architectonische gebouwen: vooral Guggenheim!

Je moet echt geluk hebben om je auto te parkeren, het staat mutje vol, wij hadden echter 2x geluk!

Recien reformado, bonito, limpio, bien situado, personal amable...

El precio. Pagas por lo que hay. no más. Las chicas de recepción nos facilitaron el numero de telepizza porque no habia nada abierto alrededor para cenar.

El OLOR del cuarto de baño. La silla que había estaba sospechosamente sucia... La proximidad del baño común, había mucho ruido.
