We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Location is wonderful! Located in the old city and easy walking distance to many restaurants, shops, beach and aquarium. Highly recommend!
Great location, when complained of room size was given larger room, although with no view
Shower too small to bend down. Very expensive for accommodation. Only Spanish TV. No wifi first night.
Nearest to the beach, and old town, good quality of attention, fare price, very clean and comfy.
Perfect location right in the heart of the old town. Friendly helpful desk staff. Fabulous bars & restaurants on the doorstep. Easy parking in an underground car park 200 Meters away, although it is a bit of a struggle to find the hotel initially. It can be a little noisey if certain guests aren't considerate, but all in all we loved the hotel & beautiful San Sebastián.
Corridor can be noisey outside room.
In the perfect location. Friendly and helpful staff, with very good value breakfast arrangements. Although the room was small it was certainly adequate for our needs.
Separate pillows (rather than just one single long shared pillow) would have been most welcome.
Excellent location. Car parking nearby.
Noise from the corridor and other rooms.
The king size bed in the deluxe room was the most comfortable bed of our European holiday. An excellent night's sleep. Location is great, close to the water, right in the old town. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Bit noisy in the mornings but that comes with the location. Small rooms but with everything you need, clean and modern.
the location was near everything, water, great neighborhood, lots to see
The staff was amazing! They were over the top friendly & helpful!!! Great location in a beautiful town!
We were a group of 3 friends and this was the most comfortable three-beds room we stayed during our two weeks vacation.
The included breakfast was too limited.
the location in the middle of the old town and near the tapas bars
the lack of tea / coffee making due to the lack of any type of refreshments in the hotel
Everything about this place was excellent, I would recommend and I will be back, room 10 was lovely, double sink in the bathroom, lots of water in the shower, nice rooms, beautiful people running this place, near by breakfast, lovely Spanish breakfast, no complains at all!!
A bit noisy late at night, the whole area was like that so no complains :)
Communication was good directions good staff very good our room was excellent enjoyed our stay wish it had been longer
Location, just inside the old town, steps from the marina, across the boulevard from the shopping district, underneath the castle, a short walk from the beach. Best spot in San Sebastián. Clean, very nice and friendly.
No negatives during our stay, it was all very nice.
Mura, the English speaking staff goes all out to help, fix problems. Her coworker is also charming. We had no problems, our friend's AC had circuit breaker problem that Mura immediately came to solve. Tiny room cute with good window design for street noise quieting
Accidentally arrived during film festival, so was spendy compared to other similar hotels during our travel month. Especially so for sparse breakfast included in sister cafe nearby. We didn't return to cafe for seafood which may have been wonderful. Suggest better simple breakfast to atract dinner customers.
Very handy - in the Old Town
Room was too small - bathroom and shower even worse. I dropped the soap in the shower and had great difficulty bending down to pick it up! Also wifi access was extremely bad. Had to sit down next to office to get access.
Location good , beds comfortable good wifi
Breakfast needs an improvement for the amount of money that we paid , room a bit dark
The location, the staff, the convenience.
The bed was terribly uncomfortable and a child would struggle to them self in the shower cubicle.
Stayed here before and was happy to go back, right in centre of old town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room comfortable. Good value for money.
Very dark room as overlooked back of other buildings, this is 2nd room we have had with view like this. Room wasn't cleaned one day of the five we stayed there. But if we go back for 3rd trip will be happy to stay here again.
This was a last minute booking and what a find. I had to find out the difference between a hotel and a pension as this place was better and bigger than most hotels I've stayed in. Apparently something about having their own front door. Anyway, the room we had was lovely, with a separate storage area/dressing room between the bedroom and the bathroom. The bathroom itself was large, clean and very well appointed. The room had good, wooden shutters over the windows that did a good job of shutting out the light from outside. Air conditioning worked nicely. Large, comfortable bed with decent pillows. The best part of all was the manager. Really friendly and helpful. We chatted for ages about the history of donostia and it's food, he pointed us towards good places to go and gave us a voucher for some free pinchos in the owners restaurant, the prawns are phenomenal.
Loved it! Very comfortable, clean and spacious room. Great location - so close to beach, great restaurants and everything you want to go see as a tourist in San Sebastian. Mireia at reception is excellent and was a pleasure to meet. Can't wait to go back some day . . .
Brilliant location in the heart of the old town and close to La Concha beach. Staff very helpful - we received a very warm welcome and were given lots if helpful information. Room was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean with a lovely little balcony overlooking the square.
Bed was a bit uncomfy and room small - would probably book superior room next time.
location location location the old town food air con! cheap drinks in the reception fridge clean
one downside of the location and the fact we went in peak (august) where the town was full of kids was the noise through the night coming out of the tight streets
Location is excellent, staff is very friendly (although not always English speaking), nice room design. Ask for the parking deal in advance, it's worth it.
Strong smell of sewers from the bathroom, especially at night. Very noisy and not very intimate if you get the room behind reception and right in front of the shared entrance. Breakfast is extremely basic. Pricey although Donostia is never cheap.
