Room 303 ! Really nice room for a couple with a lounge area too Excellent location for the city, particularly the Alhambra. Would definitely recommend it to others. .
The wifi didn't always connect.
Location primarily. Old fashioned with lots of plants and pictures which gave it an authentic feel. The cafe was good value for breakfast. Beautiful view of the Alhambra.
Bedrooms could be modernised a little but that might lose some of it's charm.
The staff were very helpful and enjoyable to talk to. The breakfast was better than average, too.
The parking Close to centrum Roof terrasse
Location with a parking space. 24 hour staff. Breakfast in attached bar available. Very close to Alhambra Palace and a short walk into town.
No air conditioning in the room but then it was very reasonably priced.
Location was good and reasonable value for money.
The hostal was very basic with no aircon or hairdryer. The décor was looking very tired.
Location for exploring Granada is excellent. Also close to Alhambra, and if you don't want to walk up the steep hill you can get the C3 bus to the Alhambra from a stop which is just a short flat walk away.
+ Great homey atmosphere of the family-run hotel; + Splendid terrace with a view + Perfect location
The location was perfect for visiting the Alhambra and other old town sights.
The hotel was moldy and mildewy. It was not clean. We first rented a room with a shared bathroom but the facilities were smelly and unclean. We changed to supposedly updated room with a bathroom. This room was better but still inadequate.
Charming hotel with exceptionally warm and welcoming owners in a family atmosphere. Hotel offers lower cost rooms with shared baths, so attracts younger clientele, however, the three of us older women were by no means the only older guests. Rooms are modest, quaint and even funky with charm. Hotel is quiet, on a secondary street. Interior is appealing with decorative ceramic plates and tiles and antiques. One of our rooms had two sets of French doors that opened over the street and provided great views and fresh air. The rooftop terrace offers a place to overlook the city. The road in front of the hotel is the footpath to the Alhambra. The adjacent hotel cafe is an ideal and inexpensive place to eat breakfast, drink excellent coffee and strike up conversations with interesting people. We loved it!
Some of the artwork on the walls of the room was pretty awful.
Unbeatable location, friendly staff and wondeful roof terrace filled with flowers and view towards parts of Alhambra.
Not great wifi. Very thin doors and few electrical outlets. Then again, with that price... can't really complain much.
It is near Alhambra
Great location, within walking distance to everything! Most of the staff were friendly. There was wifi available in the room and there was a cafe next door/as part of the hostal which was really reasonably priced!
There wasn't a TV in the room, like it said on my booking confirmation, but I didn't spend that much time in the room.. The shower drain seemed blocked as water kept building up whilst showering to the point where I had to stop the shower for a few minutes to prevent the water overflowing.
A very comfortable sleep even when temperature reached 38! It's an authentic old building with a lovely homely atmosphere. Such good value, I had a single ensuite room for 38 euro and so close to the Alhambra. Highly recommend it.
Hairdryer in the room would have been good.
The staff were very helpful and gracious, and they even let me use the telephone to make a call to another Spain number after I couldn't get mine to work. We had a room on the top floor next to the terrace, and the views of the city and the Alhambra are wonderful.
The WiFi was a little spotty, disconnecting often or not connecting at all. However, this was a minor issue given that we were there for vacation and not to be online.
Place clean and well located.Access to great breakfast cafe.Safe.Bed very comfortable.
Room was scruffy with paint peeling off and drab.
There is a fantastic garden on the top floor.
Elisa was very helpful in telling us where to find things like post offices etc. Her restaurant suggestions led us to several delightful places.
We were actually sent across the street to the Alfin which seemed better, but still had the access to the rooftop with views @ the Landazuri, although didn't use it.
The rooms and bathroom were never cleaned, only the trash was changed once. We stayed there 3 nights; I would have thought at least one time cleaning? As in old buildings, noise was a factor- with windows open could even hear neighbor snoring!
Excellent location close to the Alhambra and city centre. The rooms are basic, with outdated furniture but clean. Good value for money.
The cupboards and bed (the large one) are outdated and not very comfortable
This is a lovely authentic homely place to stay and in a great location for the Alhambra. Lovely narrow Spanish street where you'll be woken by Church bells. When I went for a siesta was serenaded by a busker playing Spanish guitar under my window. You couldn't order it up!
Not really a problem but room description said tv and there wasn't one.
The location was fantastic, being within walking distance to Alhambra, shops and bars. A very authentic homely place to stay.
The Wi-Fi did not work in the room but was good in the reception areas. The shower was hot, although it took some time to heat up and the shower head would not stay in place so it took a bit of juggling.
Simple hostal which meets expected standards
Close to Alhambra Palace - coffee shop attached.
Nothing particularly- most probably a typical old Spanish Hostel.
