Close to Catalonya Square but off main streets. Clean, modest price, pleasant staff.
It was one of the noisiest places I have ever slept!
Location near the city center is great! View from the 6th floor room window was nice (over the rooftops). Staff was polite.
Odors from the sewer in a bathroom, ceiling mounted shower helps everyday hair wash (if you like it). Next time I shall prefer an apartment for the same money!
you get what you pay for.
Price is good for the location and compared to other hotels. The rooms are very clean, as the sheets, the room, bthrooms and robes. Rooms are cleanes every day, and robes and sheets changed with clean ones. There is private bathroom.
They do not provide you with a new set of shampoos or soap, once you have used thr ones you find the first day. Concierge staff did not warn me water on the tap was not to be drunk (and i drunk it and fell sick). Rooms are very small, but hey this is what you expect for the money. Small window in the room leading to internal space with no sun.
Cleanliness of rooms close location to Barcelona centre and La Ramblas Low cost
No breakfast facilities Air conditioning controlled by front desk
No view from window Room was airless & stifling Bathroom so small you had to sit sideways on toilet as no room for legs. Beds were very small & mattresses hard. No facilities in room. TV small & ridiculously high on wall.
There was really nothing good about this hotel. The floor was disgusting. I felt like someone checked out and I had checked in right after them without cleaning the room. The floor and shower were filthy. The towels had stains and holes in them. I was so happy I only stayed there for one night. This hotel would have ruined my entire trip to Barcelona had I stayed.
The location is very good, near metro and other services. To have your own bathroom for this rate is a luxury.
not too far from plaza catalunya
no wifi connection
well, I have to say that the money was value, it is not a expensive hotel, so the hotel is a old one, the furnitures are old, but facilities are enough, it is clean. The staffs are very nice, the location is good,it is near a university, so it is very easy to buy everything and the restaurants are cheaper than other places. We can walk to the Plaza Catalunya and the La Rambla. It is nice and value for the money.
sound-proof is not very good.
General location was good for setting off on sightseeing trips at the weekend
Very basic small rooms but adequate
After a little trouble finding Pension Miami, the place was a mere five minute walk to La Rambla, which included various vintage clothes shops and chic stalls you wouldn't find in the shopping centre.
The TV didn't work - which I was happy about but ssh! - and the beds weren't entirely comfortable. The shower was a little crammed but manageable on a short economical visit to Cataluyna.
Location:although in the center, the neighbor was bad and dangerous. I would say during the nights becomes a ghetto of dangerous people. Cleaness: no cleaning, my face after two nights had red apots because of the pillow. Really small room, no facilities, no breakfast, no free wifi, and all these for 65€ per night!
Location and the level of communication.
Bad smell in the bathroom.
The security at the front made me feel really safe, even if it was slightly inconvenient.
The rooms were hard to move around and were tiny for the amount I paid. There were no locks anywhere, only one outlet for a pair of roommates, and you had to pay a ridiculous amount for wifi. Also, no guests were allowed in the room, so traveling with friends was difficult.
We did appreciate the central position, with near walking distance to many interesting and important places.
Nothing negative really, but for the bed was a bit hard for my bad back. :-)
Not much. It was fairly clean. It was way over priced for what it provided and what it did not provide, except wi-fi for at a usury rate.
The room was lacking in places to put a suitcase, much less two. No other surface, or counter even. The free-standing closet of thin plywood was tiny. The room, over mirrored & decorated in a style I would call sixties brothel. The lighting so dim one needed additional clip on book light. The french window-door to balcony opened over an alleyway where folks drank and smoked loudly till late. One morning looking out gave a view of a guy taking a leak on the corner of the steps. Another day looking out we were greeted with a fellow producing loud explosive throwing up. Thankfully 'tho, every day (about 4am) the street cleaner came through with a magnified roar.
That it was near the city centre.
That there was no air conditioning, which meant the advertisement lied. I also didn't like how groups of homeless people live right outside the door of the hotel and yell all night long. The fact that you have to give your only key to the staff when you leave each time is ridiculous. And how do you not have wifi in this day and age?
The location is very central.
The staff was unfriendly.
The location is dangerous...it's the bad comunitu in Barcelona..controling by police.
Staf was very good and hotels plasing.
No heat, very small roms and very noicy.
The location was good easily accessible to metro and near catlunya Square
Beds not comfort at all no free wifi in rooms and the beggers near the hotel always make sounds and looks frightning and the smell near the hotle is so bad
Nice place, good budget value good staff and hôtel well located, very close from the center of Barcelone.
