Worst place I've ever paid to stay in
Central, secure, friendly Staff, quiet clean and comfortable for what you pay.
Location was great
My first room had only had one power point that was broken. Eventually I was moved to another room but it was very noisy during the night into the hours the sun was up. Made the stay not very pleasant.
Location was great !
It's seems that they didn't have our booking registered .. We had to wait and show the booking on the computer cause he didn't have it. Then he fave us a room right on the same floor, in front on the main door, where the bell is ringing all night on .. And the bathroom was ridiculous, and we had to ask for a ventilator etc .... Hopefully we stayed 2 nights !
Location La Ramblas , very friendly personal , cleen
very loudly , noisy very touristic location from Rambla bars and tourists , sleeping not good
Noise from Street is so high, i thought that it will be no problem after the tireness in the day but the noise might be so annoying, you should take an ear plug
Excellent location in the middle of touristy Ramblas.
Walls weren't really soundproof, I can hear the neighbours very clearly, even their alarms in the morning. No windows, no ventilation, so it gets quite stuffy in the Spanish heat.
Staff was very rude.
Very dirty rooms, toilet, bathroom, etc. Quality is really terrible.
excellent location, right in the middle of the action everything was clean a safe in the room gave peace of mind for my belongings
no ventilation in the room, which made the air very sticky and hard to sleep. A simple ceiling fan would do the trick. the shower head couldn't be hung to the wall, you had to hold it with one hand, making showering a nuisance. big stains of a past water spillage on the ceiling, not pretty. you get no key to the outside door, so everytime you want to get in you have to ring and wait for someone to come, which can take up to 2 minutes. alltogether I must say for a few grand this could be a great place, but the owners obviously just get as much out of it as possible without putting anything in. this pension is dying!
You can't keep your key to your own room. There was a nice little balcony... but the door to it was only held shut by a small piece of metal. I did not feel safe in this room. I left as soon as I could.
Just location otherwise out of 5 the hotel deserves to get 0. I am surprised how booking.com keep suc hotels in their list even. I am quite unsatisfied as my trust on booking.com has broken.
Dirty rooms No maintenance dirty staircase No separate bath, shower was just there in the room in 1 corner with very dirty shower curtain hanging over it. No soap or shower gel for bathing and washing and toilet was in Lobby for common use. Walls seemed as if they haven't been painted for decades. Forget about AC, there wasn't even fan in the room. We asked for one and then we got same a very dirty fan. I would not recommend any traveller to stay there. They charge the money in advance so be aware before you make your booking.
The place is a disgrace should not be operated. Conditions are so poor that it is a shame not only on the place it self but on the booking agency as well to keep a place with such terrible conditions on its website. If I were you I would get rid of them as soon as possible.
The staff was nice, and the ladies were kind and really made an effort to keep the place clean. Sheets smelled nice.
Despite the wonderful efforts of the staff to keep it clean, one couldn't walk barefoot on the premises, I had no window in my room, actually I did, but it was opening on the corridor in front of the shared shower door. It was so noisy due to this and due to the fact that the pension was directly adjacent to nightclubs where people queued outside and screamed all night. Needed earplugs to sleep in and heard everyone in the toilet. Not my idea of a good pension, sorry!
cheap good location
cleanness needed more ringing for opening doors
TV did not work , power connection to it was really sloppy. The rooms are in a relative poor condition.
Friendly Flexible Clean Extremely central Quiet Good price
Location only thing
The signage for "hotel" doesn't exist, the shower was in front of bed which you had to hold to have one, the door into room was not secure, and no safe or tv as advertised, the bathroom was shared outsides which looked like was not cleaned for month. I was buzzing for 15 minutes to get into the hotel. I will never recommend this and the photos online look nothing like it. I would recommend removing from the site
Easy to find, right on La Rambla. I arrived at 4.30am after a delayed flight but it wasn't a problem. The cleaning lady was also very nice and helpful. The price is good when you want somewhere just to sleep in Barcelona.
My single room had no window. I couldn't close the door and the fan sounded like an aeroplane! It meant a very hot or noisy night. But worse, was that wrong information about check-in was given, it said to go to another place, so I took my bags down a long lane past lots of drunken people to a dark, lonely corner, only to find that check-in was back on La Rambla after all and I had to go back again through all the drunks.
too noisy the room are not confortable at all
Value for money and it did what it said on the packet . The location is exactly the place to be in Barcalona I prefer to be in a great location than in an costly hotel as long as it is clean and this place is clean and simple.
Noisy but that is true even in a more expensive hotel in that location. Just off the Ramblas is always noisy. The hotel is no frills .
poor internet, staff did not speak english, room was hot, no cleaning service
This is the worriest hotel i never seen
Location! Could not sleep at all because of street noise (I had ear plugs). Unmatched noisy alley between hotel and theater during the night. People are shouting there all night and it is echoed like hell. Fortunately, I was relocated to an inner room with no windows and no comfort, but at least it was quiet. Otherwise I would have left after one night, even though I paid in advance.
